"This is your last chance to change your options. If you want to add classes or the other course, go into the PLTs to make your changes. You may also suggest courses for future as well. After today the options will be locked. Any questions?" Lady Mystique spoke to the class.

Rikami immediately jumped on the floor and walked over to Ember.
Ayaka listened to Lady Violetta explain what Independent Study courses there are this semester as well as how they will be taught to them. Of course she asked if anyone was interested in any of them. She rose her hand and said, "I'm interested in all of them if that's ok. Um.. and what if if I'm thinking about taking Draconic courses too? How long do I have to change that?"

Ember was washing himself but noticed Rikami walking over to him. He stopped washing himself and stood up to look at the puppy.

"You have today to change your mind. Then you will go on your PLTs to view the eggs and choose one." Lady Violetta spoke.
"Since at least one of you are interested in all of the classes, I will assign an Independent Lab Room to each of you. To make it simple it will be the same as your room number. Now for each individual class.

Archaic Language will have various old world languages for you to learn and be able to write fluently in or you can make up your own language like back in the 1950's Pig Latin. However the language that you make up will need to be more complicated than Pig Latin. The reason for this is so that you can write your own notes, Diary, Grimoire and Spell Books in your own language. Some of the languages are Latin, Greek, Demonic and Angelic. There are various animal languages as well.

Calligraphy 1 through 3 will allow you to write in a flourish way which would be harder to read. You will be required in Level 3 to make up your own design of writing.

Musical Instrument 1-3 allows you to learn up to 3 basic instrument or perfect 1 instrument.

These next classes will meet on the Non-Magical Floor.
Basketry is where you learn how to make useful baskets by weaving various materials.

Our Solar System is a class about our Solar System, The Bridge Mix Galaxy. We will learn and name the various stars and constellations as well as have discussions.

Auras is a unique class in itself. I will teach you the basics and you will have an assignment which will take the whole Level to complete.

Who wants to change their selections?" she asked.

Skotadi quickly put up her hand and said to Lady Violetta," I would definitely like to change my selections if I may."

"Please go into the PLTs and open up your elections folder. Add the ones that you wish to have. I am sure that you will not regret it." Lady Violetta spoke calmly.
"Once everyone is finished with their final selections, we will go into the Lab and begin the Creatureology Independent Study Class."

Rikami took a second to sniff Ember than started jumping around acting like he wanted to play.

Since she only had today to change her mind, Ayaka went ahead and opened her PLT and changed it to where she's taking Draconic as well as Traditional. As Lady Violetta told her, Ayaka also looked at all the eggs. She ended up choosing one that looked to be about medium sized. She clicked to choose it because for some reason it caught her attention. The next thing Ayaka did, was made sure she chose all the Independent Study classes.

After she was done, Ayaka closed her PLT and watched Rikami and Ember while waiting.

Breakfast had been quite boring for Jak and he now was sitting towards the back of the Archaic Languages class listening intently to the teachers droning about pronunciations and proper spelling of the languages all of it was quite exciting and he had been taking notes although very short and curt notes about the subject he still understood the class quite a bit.

He had no questions and no queries Jak just sat in his desk and wrote notes which would possibly be his every day excursion from then on and he sighed at the thought except he was excited to learn the languages of course but the class was boring altogether.

Skotadi opened up her PLT and started t change her independent classes. She chose to do Calligraphy, Archaic Language, Musical Instrument, Our Solar System and Auras which was all of the classes she could take other than Basketry. Once she was finished she closed her PLT and felt her egg. She noticed that it was quite a small egg but she didn't mind that as she didn't really care about size. When she touched it softly she also noticed that it was getting cool which she suspected wasn't a very good thing so she put up her hand to ask Lady Violetta a question.

Skotadi held her little, bumpy, red egg with her left hand to keep it secure in her lap, she knew that she would never forgive herself if she dropped it.

Lady Violetta spoke once more to the class.
"It is time to to the required Independant Class. Creatureology can be a fascination subject. I will be there as well to do my charting. Everyone follow me please."

Lady Violetta lead them to the Independent Lab where there many charts on the walls.


"Let's start by finding out what dragons we have. Please step up to this chart. As this chart is the life size example of our eggs, we can hold our egg up to the various shadows of the eggs to figure out which species we have. I'll go first."

Lady Violetta held up her egg and covered up the first silhouette.

"Mine is the size of a personal dragon. I'll place my egg in a egg station where it will be safe during the examination. Now I open my PLTs and find the folder called Creature Independant Study Log.
Then I fill out the questionnaire for my creature. Every day I log in my observations of my creature. Sometimes you will have to put no change which is acceptable. Everyone may start their creature logs. I'll be here if there are any questions."

Elizabeth saw the Lady pulled down four charts, and all except the last were skeletal pictures of a common animal. There was one of an avian, a bird, a canine, a dog, and a feline, a cat. They were unlikely to arouse any excitement. The fourth, however, was that of a number of different types of dragons, and detailed both the skeletal, muscular, and outer physical appearance. Elizabeth's attention was on that of the dragon chart, and she assumed the same was true of her peers.

Looking at a picture of the type of dragon eggs, Elizabeth looked down at her own egg, and it seemed to be a type of dragon known as the "Ancient Ones." To Elizabeth, that sounded impressive. Elizabeth opened up her PLT and found the folder that the Lady had pointed out, the Creature Independent Study Log, and filled out her log.

Ayaka followed her to the lab with Rikami walking on his leash. The first thing she noticed were the charts. Obviously, they were something they were going to be using for this class. Ayaka would have to be using the canine chart and since she changed things to where she's also taking Draconic courses, she would most likely be using the one showing the dragons.

Of course, they would be using the dragon chart to determine what egg they have... "Lady Violetta, I just added the other course and chose my dragon egg today. How will I be getting it?"

Skotadi looked at her egg than at all of the charts, she soon figured out that her dragon would be a riding dragon which she was extremely pleased with. Pulling out her PLT, she quickly but carefully filled in the questionare, after checking what she had typed twice over she sent it in.

As she was told to do, Ayaka went to look outside the door and sure enough the egg she had picked out on her PLT was sitting there. Looked a bit bigger than she thought it would be, but that's ok. Excited to see what kind of dragon it is, Ayaka picked it up and went straight to the chart to see. She soon found that it was a riding dragon.

Of course now it was Rikami's turn. After she was done with what she needed concerning her frost wolf, Ayaka recorded everything about both Rikami and her new dragon. This class so far didn't seem to be too hard.

Mystique seemed overly worried to Ayaka, but it was understandable considering she didn't exactly get what was needed for an Ancient Dragon. Ayaka herself didn't really have anything in the way of taking care of a dragon egg at all at the moment and she needed to ask about that as well. Of course, she saw her friend run out of the room without her cat.... She decided to tie Rikami up next to Ember so they both have someone to play with while she went to ask Lady Violetta her question.

She walked over to the head mistress and asked , "Am I able to go get what I need to take care of the dragon egg?"

Before ordering what she wanted, Ayaka read up on riding dragons on her PLT to see what she would need. As soon as she was done ordering everything needed, she looked over at both Ember and Rikami who seemed to be ok. Since they were tied up and seemingly behaving themselves, she figured it'll be ok to leave them long enough to run to her room and back. She thought Mystique will likely be back before her anyway. Ayaka did however take her egg with her as she went back to her room.

Elizabeth would be quite busy with future classes. There had been many classes, and she had signed up for all of them. However, whatever happened, it was good enough to raise her knowledge to acceptable standards, even if that took up a great amount of time. Furthermore, she intended to train herself for the position of a future leader.

For now, she was engaged in the class in creaturology, and there along with her were Ayaka and Mystique, along with the Lady. Unlike Mystique, she had gathered the correct supplies. Now all that was necessary was to wait for further instructions. She gently pet her faithful, she was assuming, Hesiod. Aside from this, she did not at all treat her hound as one would an ordinary pet.

Lady Violetta smiled and asked Elizabeth
"How are you doing today, Elizabeth? Do you wish to add Draconic Arts too? It may benefit you in the long run and many courses are the same."

Suddenly Mystique realized that she had forgot Ember but knew that Ayaka was there and would keep an eye on him while she was busy here. Soon shew as done and headed down to the Creatureology Lab. When she got down there she saw Ember and Rikami but not Ayaka.

"Where did Ayaka go?" she asked as she looked around.
