"How many years has it been? I wonder...No, I don't want to know. It makes me feel quite old to remember. For those who don't know me, I am Draven Rose. I used to be one of the first humans ever to have existed. Yes, that means I was a caveman at one point. Scavenging for food in the thick jungles that used to surround the Earth. Everyday was a battle for survival, everyday I watched as one by one all around me was slaughtered by the beasts that no longer roam the Earth. It was a simple, harsh life but it was my life and I was content with it. That was until that fateful day I encountered something when I was hunting. Something that caught my attention and I lacked the intelligence to turn away at the first sign of danger.
There was a man. He was quite tall. His form radiated with a darkness which I could not see through. Better yet, the area around him even the sky above him and the ground below was thick with shadows which no light could pierce. Of course, being a being with simple intelligence, I still got closer to that man. As I got closer, he became a little more defined. His hair was long, had alabaster skin, and his eyes was a deep red. He was covered in blood and he seemed to be feasting on it, a little more ahead of him was a dead saber-tooth tiger. It had completely been mutilated. Again, such things did not have an affect on me nor did his appearance even if I found him to be a bit...odd. I had walked up to him despite the danger but the bone club in my hand was ready to smash his skull in if he tried anything. Little did I know, such a thing would be useless against this...whatever he was.
The more I got close to him, the shadows behind me began to block my only exit and soon I was in this undefined space with him. Still, I wasn't afraid of him, wasn't afraid of the dark. I had seen much worse things or maybe it was because I was too dumb to understand. Regardless, his eyes fell on me. He knew that I was ready to attack him at a moment's notice. I didn't waste anytime. I labeled him as dangerous and decided to take him out. Unfortunately, the thick shadows managed to not only slow me down but stop my movement completely. Before I knew it, I was slowly sinking into the ground. Although the shadows themselves shouldn't have been solid for me to walk on anyway. I was struggling for my life, trying to get free but to no avail. I didn't care. I wanted...no, I need to get free. It was only then I knew what a threat this...thing really was. As I was slowly sinking there and struggling, he was walking toward me with a menacing grin on his face. I didn't know what he was going to do. I didn't even know what he was. Unfortunately, being fearless does seem to have it's limits. Even so, I wasn't afraid of him. I looked him dead in the eye and snarled at him, wanting to do nothing more than kill him. He knew that and he laughed as he crouched down to me to look at me.
He spoke a few words but I could not understand him. The next thing that happened had really shook me to my very soul. The shadows themselves started to seep into my skin and body. I could feel my body starting to get cold from the inside so much that my teeth started chattering. It was really cold as if someone was injecting liquid nitrogen into my veins. I could feel the life literally being drained for me. I became more and more unresponsive by the second. He, on the other hand, was enjoying my suffering. He was watching the light leave my eyes but even so, he could see that I wouldn't give up even if I began to lose consciousness. He then asked me a question but I couldn't understand him. Even so, I snarled and yelled at him. He seemed to like my response. 'Defiant until the very end...' then nothing. My eyes had fell shut after that. What happened next was my neck being bitten into then a terribly hot liquid entering my body. My body began to wake up little by little after that. The more the liquid he put in, the more my body began to move. Soon, he lifted his head as the shadows began to slowly pull me out of the ground but I articulate my thoughts. My body was in pain, it was burning. My head felt as if it was going to explode and the muscles in my body was pulsating and moving erratically. I was rolling around in pain, screaming and I felt as I wanted to die. I wanted to but death never came to release me from my torment.
'Is it painful? Do you feel your insides burning? I'm sure you do. You shouldn't be afraid. In a few moments, you're going to become a creature of the dark. You will be darkness incarnate, a creature of shadows, a creature of terrible, dark power. A vampire, a pure blood one, in fact. You are the very first one in existence. Consider yourself lucky, mortal. The process will take a long time to complete but you shouldn't worry. You're immortal. When it's done, your power will almost know no equal. Now, I wonder what kind of person you'll be."
I understood every word that he was saying but what I could not understand what he was talking about and what he could me. A vampire? Vampire, a creature of the dark. I had no idea what it meant but I felt that I was going to find out. Whatever he put in me, it was changing me. I no longer felt myself anymore. It was then I looked at him with pure disdain and I outright attacked him anyway. That same grin was on his face as he effortlessly dodged all of my attacks. I fell to the ground because it became too painful to move. He only chuckled at my attempts and picked up my body taking it deeper into the shadow. There a stone coffin was there and he put me inside. He gave only a few words and a stone door on top sealed it. I assumed that he now left me to coffin. I couldn't move. Couldn't get out. The only thing I could do is sleep. My body was still burning but I could do nothing about it and I was feeling tired anyway.
I closed my eyes then I passed out. There I stayed for millions of years undisturbed by anybody. I skipped so many years that I no longer could remember what my past life was like but I suppose it was for the best. It would be some time before I gained the strength to get out of my stone coffin, I better just enjoy the peace and quiet until someone wakes me, possibly..."

This is a short introduction into Draven Rose, the world's first vampire. Although it's unrecorded in history and no other being knows he exists even other vampires. It will be a simple roleplay, no matter what era or place, someone breaks the seal placed on the coffin for him to escape. I originally planned him to be a servant to the one who wakes him but really, he can go anywhere. I've got many, many ideas for him. This is just what happened for him to become a vampire and the rest of the story will happen when he wakes. If you have any ideas or you want to ask me for my ideas just send me a message. Later! ^^
