Anyway I really like the ideas that were being thrown around about the ship becoming severely damaged and someone jury rigging a few life boats. I'd like to see that to be honest. Sounds like a damn good read. Either way some serious shit needs to go down and even though Carson will be a little tied up, I could probably think of a way to help that happen if needs be.

I could work on a post where the engine room has been hit, it could also give me the opportunity to get down to the city and loot Blackbeard's ship for parts.

I just figured if that we were going along with the idea of having the engines start to stall or break, then I should wait until after that post is made to properly act it out with Grey and Matty at the helm.

Thank you guys for sticking around thus far. I'll be going through and seeing who's left and making adjustments accordingly.

But seeing things have slowed down, I'm going to release a little information about the city that's coming up.

One of the biggest roleplay problems is when the players have nothing to do. No way to push things forward or no way to make an interesting post. The City, Tirbetha, is going to be captured at the end of this battle. I know, suspension of disbelief shattered, dreams ruined!

Anyway, it'll be captured. What I'm hoping to do with the city however is not just have it be a place for us to occasionally go to. All writers here can make NPCs and PCs to populate the city in any area, each of which can and will have their own stories and adventures within the city. What I hope for is that whenever we have a time where we're waiting on somebody to post and you want to post, you can pop into your NPC and push their own stories forward, developing them as you see fit. They could even join the crew at some point.

These stories within the city won't interfere with the main story either unless something stupid happens and somebody's (Dt's) character decides to do something dumb (DT's character) and blow up the city. (Dt's character)

I'll also start writing up a post myself, though I'm not sure if it'll be today or tomorrow.

It has been a little tricky not knowing who's still active and who's not. It has slowed down a bit and like you said, it has been a bit because of that reason and being unsure of a directive.

What I might do to try and get things moving a bit on the ground team's end is work with @Caits on a collab post or something. My current post became a bit of a filler post and I'm not really 100% happy with it, but these things happen.

What we could do, moving forth, is say that players that have dropped out have lost their characters in the city. Not saying kill them cause the player could return, but they are mia somewhere until they turn up.

Might also be a thought if we discuss over a couple of posts the layout and design of the city. It might help everyone get onto the same wavelength and generate plot ideas.
