I'm confused.
NERD:
- A foolish or contemptible person who lacks social skills or is boringly studious.
- A single-minded expert in a particular technical field.
GEEK:
- An unfashionable or socially inept person.
- A carnival performer who performs wild or disgusting acts.
FANATIC:
- A person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal, especially for an extreme religious or political cause.
FAN:
- Sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person who is enthusiastically devoted to something or somebody, such as a band, a sports team, a book or entertainer. Collectively, the fans of a particular object or person constitute its fanbase or fandom. They may show their enthusiasm in a variety of ways, such as by promoting the object of their interest, being members of a fan club, holding or participating in fan conventions, or writing fan mail. They may also engage in creative activities ("fan labor") such as creating fanzines, writing fan fiction or drawing fan art.
Therefore you should all be calling each other fans, not nerds!
And now a message from our President:
My fellow Americans, I address you tonight with a heavy heart. A great tragedy has befallen our nation today. San Francisco, once a shining city of nearly five million is now a deserted wasteland...

It is due to the actions of these young people, that General Wilson and I have put forth the Vigilante Registration Act forcing all masked heroes to submit their personal identities to the government and work under our trained officers. No longer will these 'capes' run freely in our streets enforcing their own brand of justice but rather they shall become the hand of those who actually have the best interests of the public at heart.

Luthor stole the "My fellow Americans" thing! Or maybe every president does that and Obama is just the only one of recent memory.
