Roxy studied the boy who spoke. "I can do a lot of things. Some of them are even relevant to this." She throw one of the knives at him. She knew these weren't real knives. So she didn't bother trying to hit him. She aimed the knife so it would just buzz by the boy. It missed him by centimeters. She could have gotten closer but she felt like she had made her point.

Laura was shoved into the room by two guards. She didn't lose her balance though. She turned to look at the guards and scoffed at them. Chickens. She surveyed the room and quickly figured out what was going on. She walked to the weapons and carefully considered what she would chose. Leaves a mess, leaves a mess, leaves a mess, and here we go. She picked up a sniper rifle and looked at it through the scope.

"This should be fun to learn how to use," Laura said looking at the man in white. She walked to the wall and sighed. Why does this feel like a line up?

Alex shrugged and then picked up a can and threw one up into the air and shot it twice with the double barrel shotgun. He smiled and said "man I could get use to this." He then put the shotgun away and pulled out the twin swords and tried them out. He then heard what the new girl said and replied "He seems to want to make a team of people who can be replaced" (suicide squad reference)

In response to what Oliver said, Roxy stepped forward to speak and gave a small demonstration to her knife throwing skills to which Oliver at first being a little surprised but as well as intrigued. He could read that she wasn't going to hit him but he could see she had some skill. With a smile on his face Well then, seems like I found my training partner, if you don't mind tangling with me chika? pointing his pump-action shotgun toward Roxy and motioned the barrel to himself as he was swinging the barrel like a gesture for both he and Roxy to be together.

Noticing a new player entering the game Oliver chuckled Seems the new bad asses that comes in here keeps getting prettier and prettier. but I'm ready to start the fun....how about you? looking back over at Roxy to see if she'll give him a response.

"I am not impressed with your big gun. Just means your trying to make up for something." Roxy told him. She had faced guns before. She was less then impressed by the size. A big gun meant little she had grown up surrounded by guns. Even if the boy coukd use it she wouldn't be impressed. Guns required little skill. An idiot could use them. She had seen that door herself often enough.

Laura watched Oliver make to gesture to Roxy and and chuckled at him. Wow he thinks he has such game it is hilarious.

"You know you would probably have more luck with a mirror. He is more attractive than you," she said pointing to Jared. She didn't find Oliver really interesting. He seemed like a typical crime ridden male.

Oliver chuckled to the retort as he found it amusing to hear the same old line he always hear girls say when hitting on them. Either if she was talking about his manhood or the weapon he was holding, he wanted to hear something original. Still confident as ever, speaking out oh is that a fact? I frankly don't give a damn if it impresses you or not. all that matters is how efficiently you can kill. to be honest sweetheart, guns are not my specialty but if you'd rather, we can use blades? Shrugging to her. and looking over at Laura just giving a "hmph" with a smile on his face from what she said. This was not a popularity contest to him. He was brought here for one thing and that's to be tested on for the sake of combat and killing.

Nyra ignored the rest of the people around her. She hated talking. It was useless. She looked down the barrel of the rifle and just began to shoot at the wall randomly. Nyra went put the gun down, just wanting to see if it would work. Guns are too loud for her anyways. Even if she could shoot one she would rarely use one.

"Anyone can use a gun. I have seen idiots do it. It means nothing. If you think you can use a blade let me see what you got."Roxy told him. She studied the others. Few of them seemed interested in displaying their abilities. That would piss off the doctor here soon. He didn't like it when people didn't obey him. But the others weren't her concern yet. They hadn't earned her respect.

From hearing the shot, Nyra fired and then dropping the gun, Oliver seemed disturbed as if it was an interruption and just walked over a little closer to hear what Roxy said. Oliver didn't catch the first part of what Roxy said but when he heard "If you think you can use a blade let me see what you got.", Oliver without saying anything unsheathed the Kukri as the blade was on the pinky side of his clenched fist, going for the first attack. The fist swing was like a boxing right hook as he pivoted towards her with the swift swing of the blade towards her face while his left hand was open palmed ready to counter. His movement and stance was compact so to have quick and fast recovering in-fight.

Roxy watched the boy approach warily. She wasn't surprised when he pulled out a Kukri. She smiled at him. "You want to play do you? How sweet. And you brought a big blade too. Do you like your weapons big?" She teased him. She wasn't impressed by his blade yet. He held it like he was trained but that meant little. She saw the blade coming and dropped into a sweeping kick. She pulled another throwing knife from her boot.

Andrew keep just nervously glaring around, again not actually looking until Vlad's look caught his eye. Vlad was glaring at him, and he did not like that. Something about being looked at disappointingly just always made him feel bad, even when he hated the people doing it, and he didn't even really hate Vlad, however it seemed now more than ever, it felt even worse. He just sidestepped away from his other conversation for a minute, "You want use to demonstrate are skills with weapons. I mean, I will be honest I never really used weapons before. One police officer said I had a mean left hook though." he said, in a very hushed tone, almost as though he wanted to say it without being heard.

Then he got an idea. As he rummaged through the table. "I know I seen them somewhere here.", he said to himself while doing so, in a few seconds he found them. He placed the knife back on the table. What he picked up was brass knuckles, he knew from experience these things hurt, and how hard could punching something be. He put them on, and turned to the wall and started wailing on it. While he hit hard, it was apparent he had no idea how to fight properly, but he had fairly good upper-body strength and his hand-eye coordination seemed particular good.

Hearing Roxy's comment about guns didn't mean that Laura wanted to not learn to snipe. Shrugging she went back to the table and picked up a pocket knife, it was slightly unbalanced but she didn't care. So the girl wants bold now? She sighed and threw the knife at Roxy after she went from the sweeping kick letting the knife touch some of her hair. Lavender was terribly bored of knives, too many people carried them and they were most boast then actual threatening.

"You satisfied," Laura asked Roxy.

While Roxy started teasing Oliver, he didn't respond. More surprising, he didn't look as if he was in the mood to talk. His mood was serious, focused. His usual playful, so called smooth talking went out the window once he was in combat mode. Through the years Oliver killed, he never once talked playfully while in combat mode. It was an odd trait, playful one moment and so serious the next. It's like turning on and off a switch.

Not focusing on Roxy's words, his attention was towards his reflex when Roxy went for the leg sweep as Oliver lifted his foot to evade, spinning while crouching a little to face and anticipate another attack from Roxy while keeping his blade in the same position in his fist and got back two steps. As the first moves were made, he was trying to study Roxy's movements to catch her fight pattern and style she used. He knew any moment now, she'd come out sooner or later with one of her knife throws.

Roxy smiled. "Not bad." she ignored the girl that threw the knife at her. Her aim had been decent but Rocy wasn't admitting that yet. The boy was watching her. His face serious. She didn't do serious. From her position, braced on her toes and finger tips, she could move quickly. She pushed herself up leaping as high as she could. With her spliced DNA her jump was higher then ever
She landed on her feet behind the boy.

A praise? Oliver was looking on and the way this girl moved, she definitely had some skill and for some reason, this girl was going to keep him on his toes. He watched as she was getting ready to leap and prepared to go on the offensive as soon as she leaps at him but.....but....what the hell? What did Oliver witness, as he played back in his mind briefly the girl leaping but not exactly towards him but over him as he followed her with his eyes as she landed behind him. Out of instinct and reflexes, Oliver quickly did a near dive to his left to roll over while winging his blade at Roxy's left leg while trying to keep his eyes on her movements. He was close to the ground balancing himself with his toes and right arm as if he was in a position to do one armed push-ups. This move allowed him evasion and attack at the same time but what the hell kind of animal did she have running in her veins?

Roxy grinned at him. "Didn't see that one coming did you? I think I'm going to like playing with you."she turned her attention to the boy pounding at the wall. "You need to learn to throw a punch kid. The doctor said to show your skillcolor]. Not your pathic attempts at being a wall beater" she mad her way back to the side of the room. She had shown enough of her abilities for one day.

Savagely attacking the walls with no training or anything really exhausted him pretty easily, and possibly punching a wall with out a bit of metal between you and the wall wasn't the smartest ideas as his knuckles were killing him. He looked to the doctor, "Like I said, I don't mind you messing with your science stuff, but you could have the courtesy to tell me what you did what did to me. I feel... different yet the same." he said, showing no real signs of disrespect in his voice, just curiosity. He then looked at the girl who scolded, and just turned away, in a near whisper, "Not worth the trouble."

"I added animal DNA to you. You got a drug dog." Vlad answered with a laugh. "Last see what the rest of you can do. You have thirty seconds before the guards shot you. If you missed the demo ask the others. You will do as I say or you will regret it. You belong to me. You signed your lives over to me."

Looking at Roxy, Oliver was a little thrown off with the sudden stop of the fight. As she was no longer in fight mode, Oliver went back to his usual self as he stood up and sheathed the Kukri Have to admit Chika, I don't know what animal you have in ya, but I liked what I saw and, you're full of surprises...perhaps when I get my animal ability down, we can go all out. Hell...I'll enjoy playing with you as well babes. as he turned to grab the shot gun he was going to use.

Oliver saw the one that was punching the wall and listened to Vlad explain what animal DNA was placed in the boy. Oliver didn't take any interest when it came to explaining how the whole DNA thing worked, but...he needed to learn how to activate his abilities at will. If Roxy and Oliver was to go all out, she would have the advantage since she was more at used to her spliced abilities.
