“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones" was a quote said by the Late Albert Einstein, he was at least half wrong. We as a human race survived World War Three without nuclear Devastation, at least, not completely. This though, does not mean Humans as a whole where not beaten down after the war, during and slightly after the war, nations fell and new rivalries where made. The East vs West rivalry that defined the 1900s and early 2000s are no longer how the alliance lines are drawn. Smaller alliances are made amongst nations, with group against group, nation against nation, this Newer World Order might be worse then the world we just escaped.
IT'S BACK! So I know that a couple weeks ago I said I had returned, but I had some problems, such as family members getting sick and vacation, but Im actually back now with a Reboot of Age of Rebirth, or The Rebirth of Age of Rebirth. Like the first version of this RP, it shall take place in 2050, 10 years after the end of World War Three and 20 years after the beginning of it. A new sort of United Nations has been formed, but it is less United and more Divided.
Age of Rebirth 2 shall still be freeform, but I will just add somethings that will hopefully have the RP last longer.

- Carbon-nanotubes: Their diverse properties make them potentially the building block of all near-future technology. They can be cathalists for various reactions, electrodes and the heart of computer systems (replacing silicon chips). They are also rather light yet strong which makes them important for buildings and vehicles. Cost-wise they'll be only marginally more expensive than steel if all costs are cut back with its massed use.
- Energy Storage: CNT-based batteries and supercapacitors will be smaller for the same stored power which is already a boon. In addition CNT makes fuel cell tech viable, somewhat expensive but a possible option for anything that consumes a lot of power. If larger energy densities are needed then they can use antimatter storage but such methods would be obviously expensive and only used in the most expensive cases. Think of the latter as this RP's equivalent of nuclear reactors. Basically you should be able to design storages with the capacity of a car battery but size as small as an ammo clip. Fuel cells can also allow you to substitute typical fuels for electricity if you want to.
- Fusion Reactors: At last this technology would be plausible during this RP. The question is about the scale. Neutron radiation hazard may also limit how small we are willing to build these (since you need some distance and shielding to avoid that issue). So nuclear-powered tanks might be an unlikely scenario still.
- Directed Energy Weapons: They won't be anywhere as convenient as shown in sci-fi. They fail as effective conventional weapons compared to guns. On the other hand they could be cheap (when compared to ordnance, not to handheld firearms) and certain types of radiation would require special protection. As such it'd be effective at disabling electronics or affecting soldiers regardless their protection. The question is whether radiation-weapons would be considered humane enough to avoid it being internationally banned.
- Railguns, coilguns: Oh yes, these will be there. Electromagnetic propulsion will be on the rise. Of the two designs railguns have more potential at smaller scales. With the advance of electronics though I'm not sure whether rails or coilguns are more efficient at large scales. It's up to you. Anyways, railguns with sufficient money and sophistication can replace any firearm we have. The difference would be important yet far from OP.
- Mechs, Walkers, Power Armors: Yeah, with some decades of sophistication and the energy issues solved you can start thinking about your walking vehicles and cool powered armors. Don't think you can build anything like the Gundam, though. Your soldiers may carry more with powered exoskeletons but they are no Ironman, either. Walker vehicles also have several issues in general but I think our nice and benevolent GM would make bits of allowances so long it isn't anything OP.
- Antimatter: The immense energy densities of antimatter would be necessary for certain technologies (especially the nukes). To get this you'd need colliders and particle accelerators designed for this purpose and even then the process would be very wasteful in energy so antimatter would remain expensive. Though you don't need too much of this to begin with. As for storage either electromagnetic traps (ie: Penning Trap) or using fullerenes/CNTs and their electron-dense structure to keep anti-protons. The latter would have a nice potential because you can store the mix as an inert black powder and can "activate" it by just burning it, which is amazing. This makes the "antimatter powder" simple to use and can be even an alternative for space rocket fuels.
- Pure Nukes: By either using lasers or bits of antimatter it's possible to start fusion without leaving behind nuclear fallout. In addition this makes it plausible to scale down nukes to almost any size, especially with the "antimatter powder" idea from above. All you need is a well-designed bomb casing, some explosives, tiny amounts of "antimatter powder" and tanks of liquid hydrgogen or other material you use for fusions. These methods also save up weight compared to older designs so a strategic warhead may even weigh below a ton.

Fictional History
Starting from the recession in 2008 Hungary gradually became discontent with the European Union which eventually peaked in 2018 when suddenly the ultranationalist Hungarian Unity Novation party won the elections. Lead by Charles Esterhazy they soon left the union just before introducing the new currency and began to work on a new independent and strong country. This overall hurt the Hungarian international relations but the reforms also managed to fix the countless issues and inequalities which baned the country for decades. On the other hand Hungary gradually turned into something closer to a dictatorship lead by the HUN party. This incurred the disapproval of the other nations but given the current worldwide situation nobody had time to deal with Hungary. Then the war broke out, or more like a chaotic combination of several different wars which is now referred as World War III. China, EU, Russia, USA and countless more nations found themselves locked in the most destructive war of all history. All but Hungary which retained their neutrality through the whole time. As the war died down many nations were in ruins, a situation the Hungarian leadership immediately abused. Through the decades they were improving their military and in just a few months prior to the official end of World War III the Hungarian armies finally took action. In the name of correcting the injustice of Trianon they conquered all the neighboring countries at rapid pace, meeting only minimal resistance. By the peace talks in 2031 Hungary had already became as large as it used to be during WW1 if not even greater. Abusing the chaotic atmosphere Hungary even used this occasion to declare the legitimacy of their new nation, called Neo Hungaria. Inviting the current Duke of Croy (Reinhard), the last known descendant from House Árpád, to be Hungary's king they created the Kingdom of Neo Hungaria.
The first decade of the Kingdom was a troubled one, the ethnical-national friction was the source of various uprisings which the radical political party throttled with sheer might and resulted in bloodbaths. Yet gradually things were changing after the retirement of Reinhard and coronation of his son Mathias III. Unlike his father Mathias was a skilled politician and his reign brought stability. He promoted multiculturalism and a national identity which acknowledged everyone in the country regardless of their tongue or ethnicity as Hungarian. As such he turned around the ongoing nationalist propaganda and extended it to people who previously were viewed as the oppressed. This change eventually resulted in the current face of Neo Hungaria.
Politics/Society
As its name suggests Neo Hungaria is a monarchy ruled by their king. The current regent is Mathias III, aged 42. He's the son of the late king Reinhard von Croy and direct descendant of the Arpád Dynasty. He was born in Belgium but spent most of his life in Hungary and later adopted the name Korona Mátyás (Mathias Crown). The main decision-making body of Neo Hungaria is the Parliament which is mostly dominated by the right-wing Hungarian Unity Novation (HUN) party albeit their authority is far less absolute compared to the past. In every four years the members of the Parliament are decided by vote although the system isn't completely clean. Hungarian is the the country's official language albeit given the large diversity of ethnicities and nationalities within Neo Hungaria they also support schools in other languages and people can do administrative duties in up to 11 tongues. Multiculturalism is prevalent albeit Hungarians subtly still enjoy some preferential treatment.
Economy
Neo Hungaria remained neutral through the entire length of WW3 which allowed them to survive these years relatively intact. Their neighbors were not so lucky and as Neo Hungaria conquered them it also had an impact on their economy. Their conquest was fueled by nationalist propaganda about restoring Hungary of the past yet in effect it also bore strategic importance. Many of the old kingdom's richest agricultural fields and allocation of natural resources were held by foreign countries. Reparations and war-waging costs were expensive but turned out to be rewarding on the long run. With these Neo Hungaria became an economic powerhouse compared to the rest of Europe. They have rich mountains abundant in materials, oil fields and excellent farmlands. Due to the latter they also invested considerable effort in producing various biofuels thus allowing them to be close to self-sufficient. Export of food and materials is one of their largest source of income.
Even prior to WW3 Hungary was keeping pace with other nations when it came to science and technology. This only accelerated after the formation of Neo Hungaria. The nation's economy multiplied more than tenfold and this had a drastic impact on technology and industry. Nowadays Neo Hungaria is one of the most developed nations in the world. In spite of their size compared to the various superpowers, Neo Hungaria is one of the top producers of carbon-nanotubes and other nanoconstructed chemicals.
Military
Ever since its conception Neo Hungaria put emphasis on their military and with a good reason. Even after its numerous territorial acquisitions Neo Hungaria was surrounded by giant nations that threatened their existence. As such compared to its neighbors Neo Hungaria is more militarized and their military expenses (along with R&D) reach as high as 21% of their budget. Along with the technological and industrial boom, Neo Hungaria also devoted great resources into arming their forces with only national products. This resulted in a temporarily setback as the industry for making weapons was yet to be finished but by the 2040s this idea became a reality.

Infantry:
Neo Hungaria's infantry is known for their high quality equipment. Manufactured by FÉG-ARMY they wear advanced protective suit made of CNT and other nanomaterials to offer considerable and full-body protection (including against radiation and chemical attacks) while the sensors and helmet offers enhanced information feed and situational awareness on the battlefield. Their current standard armament is the FÉG-K42 guns, one of the first mass-produced railgun carbines in the world. It fires the then standardized 4x16mm "dart" projectiles at the velocity of around 1500m/s and adjustable rate of fire usually ranging between 120 to 15000 RPM depending on how each mode is programmed. Power source is a compact CNT-supercapacitor with the nominal energy content of 4 kWh which is theoretically enough for over 5000 shots thus in general the only limiting factor the amount of ammo of which a railgun infantry can carry 4 times more. This added with the range and accuracy of the 4mm dart can give a considerable advantage for soldiers on the field. The downsides are obviously that the electronic systems need care and require their own line in logistics. Recharging is done at specialized stations, connection ports of military vehicles or even by solar panels and other hand devices like the "solar mat" which is a foil-like device that can be spread out on a surface to gather solar energy. Regardless for Neo Hungaria that mostly focuses on defense and asymmetric warfare their equipment are ideal for the purpose.

Light and advanced tank and the chief fighting vehicle employed by the Royal Hungarian Army. Its predecessor the Bocskai Tank was just a license-built version of the Polish PL-01. But following this subsequent versions constantly upgraded the tank to the extend that the Bocskai III tank is practically a whole different vehicle. The most notable difference is the new full-CNT chassis which improved protection while also decreasing weight, making the tank incredibly light and easy to transport. Though without dense heavy metal frame the armor only offers limited protection against APFSDS rounds. Another focus was on the tank's stealth. The Bocskai III uses the 3rd generation of the PL-01's thermal and radar stealth system and in standard combat situations and from sufficient distance this makes the vehicle practically undetectable. Newest addition is the Bocskai III's active camouflage system which by using the CNT's electronic properties can allow the tank to literally change colors, thus mimicking the surroundings. While this is obviously nowhere close to invisibility it works rather well from standard engagement distances. The Bocskai III also has the latest generation of passive and active protection systems which by the second variation includes a PL-100 laser point defense. Not to replace anti-missile defenses the laser works the best against distant or slow-moving explosive warheads. In dire situations it can also act as an anti-infatry platform with its rapid pulses. The tank's main armament is of course a railgun developed specially for the V2 model. The problem with railgun systems is the lack of versatility. The insensitive projectile doesn't allow much variation and the diameter is required to be the same. FÉG circumvents this issue by introducing the adaptive railgun concept. Its rail system can change its diameter thus allowing to shoot projectiles with varying size. Be it a solid 120mm bunker buster slug or a 20mm hypervelocity dart the weapon can handle it all. This is supported by a versatile and modular autoloader complex which can feed the system with multiple types of ammunition. The end result is a surprisingly versatile system which redefines the purpose of railguns. It can use CNT-reinforced tantalite slugs to act as explosive warheads. Can rapidly fire 12x48mm slugs with almost 0.1MJ energy each at 600-3000RPM like a devastating superheavy machinegun. Or unload the classic hypervelocity dart against armor. The possibilities are great and the limit is only within the imagination of Hungary's engineers. The only setback is that the new adaptive railgun alone costs almost as much as the rest of the tank, raising production cost twice to the original. In spite of that the Royal Hungarian Army upgraded all of their Bocskai III tanks to the V2 model by 2050.

While the Bocskai tanks are innovative, cheap and effective in warfare, there are several situation where the army requires a typical MBT for the job. As such Neo Hungaria developed the Toldi IV main battle tank. Named after a Hungarian knight famous for his strength and valor the Toldi IV is an advanced fighting vehicle with the latest weaponry and protection. Before railguns gained popularity 140-150mm systems dominated the battlefields. In some aspect cannons are still superior and more versatile so for the frontline tank MAVAG reintroduced the cannon, a 160mm multi-stage liquid propellant using tank gun. Its size allows to fire powerful explosive rounds and launching various missiles. Rumors say it's even capable of launching tactical nuclear warheads. Neo Hungary also developed their own unique armor system which is relatively light while offers great degree of protection. Tough and enduring, its microscopic BN honeycomb plates being immune to the "multiple hit problem" ceramic panels suffered. The armor was also made with the future possibility of irradiated environments and directed energy weapons in mind. Of course the Toldi IV also features the latest electronics, sensors and countermeasures with the E-variant debuting with the FÉG ORS-5 system with coverage and response time far better than most contemporary systems. All of these together makes the Toldi IVe a powerful but expensive tank when compared to the Bocskai III-V2.

The Kuvik is a small yet rather compact VTOL capable drone aircraft which focuses on close air support. It uses by then advanced magnetic propulsion system and effectively works like a mixture of helicopter and classical aircraft thus effectively replaced the former. It's equipped with a sophisticated AI that can follow its directives and continue fighting even in heavy radio/GPS jamming. Although for accountability it's preferable if the drone craft is remote controlled. In addition the Kuvik also features advanced stealth, including radar, thermal imaging and to a limited extend even visual camouflage (a system similar to what Botond III Tanks have). This combined with the drone's already tiny size makes the vehicle extremely difficult to spot thus the Kuvik earns increasing reputation for covert missions. The Kuvik is a Hungarian word describing a family of small-bodied ownls that hunt at night. Local folklore also associate the Kuvik's sound with death.

Uhu is a the big brother of the Kuvik dronecraft, developed to provide heavier fire support and overall greater capabilities. It features the same stealth system as the Kuvik albeit its size and larger radiation signature makes it easier to spot. Before being issued for the military the machine (classified as "Bagoly" at the time) was a test craft for various electromagnetic propulsion designs and future dronecrafts. It also served as testbed for directed energy weapons and their behavior in adverse conditions. But after a few years it became apparent the military needs a larger drone to truly substitute attack helicopters in their role. As such they proposed a more streamlined version of the Bagoly, designated as the Uhu. The large dronecraft can carry much more payload and has extensive active protection systems. In addition because of the nature of the magnetoaerodynamic drive it was easy to integrate a collider type particle accelerator and use a redesigned version of the test-type directed energy weapon in combat. Compared to most lasers this sports greater range and power, though obviously it's ineffective against properly armored targets. On the other hand it's a versatile system that can be used as a particle accelerator gun, laser, x-ray emitter and even gamma laser. As such even though it cannot burn through armor the high-energy radiation can be used to disable electronic equipment or (more rarely) to kill infantry. The gamma ray laser emits sufficient radiation to send humans into coma and kill them via major organ failure within hours or even minutes. The radiological weapon can potentially also used to intercept missiles, even large ICBMs. The Uhu is a versatile but also relatively expensive vehicle. The use of radiological weapons is also currently a secret in fear of international response. For the latter reason the Uhu is equipped by multiple self-destruct mechanisms to prevent the recovery of the wreckage. Uhu is a Hungarian word for a species of large-bodied owls. Their naming represents the dronecraft's relation to the LEG-142 (Kuvik) in size.

Fictional History
Starting from the recession in 2008 Hungary gradually became discontent with the European Union which eventually peaked in 2018 when suddenly the ultranationalist Hungarian Unity Novation party won the elections. Lead by Charles Esterhazy they soon left the union just before introducing the new currency and began to work on a new independent and strong country. This overall hurt the Hungarian international relations but the reforms also managed to fix the countless issues and inequalities which baned the country for decades. On the other hand Hungary gradually turned into something closer to a dictatorship lead by the HUN party. This incurred the disapproval of the other nations but given the current worldwide situation nobody had time to deal with Hungary. Then the war broke out, or more like a chaotic combination of several different wars which is now referred as World War III. China, EU, Russia, USA and countless more nations found themselves locked in the most destructive war of all history. All but Hungary which retained their neutrality through the whole time. As the war died down many nations were in ruins, a situation the Hungarian leadership immediately abused. Through the decades they were improving their military and in just a few months prior to the official end of World War III the Hungarian armies finally took action. In the name of correcting the injustice of Trianon they conquered all the neighboring countries at rapid pace, meeting only minimal resistance. By the peace talks in 2031 Hungary had already became as large as it used to be during WW1 if not even greater. Abusing the chaotic atmosphere Hungary even used this occasion to declare the legitimacy of their new nation, called Neo Hungaria. Inviting the current Duke of Croy (Reinhard), the last known descendant from House Árpád, to be Hungary's king they created the Kingdom of Neo Hungaria.
The first decade of the Kingdom was a troubled one, the ethnical-national friction was the source of various uprisings which the radical political party throttled with sheer might and resulted in bloodbaths. Yet gradually things were changing after the retirement of Reinhard and coronation of his son Mathias III. Unlike his father Mathias was a skilled politician and his reign brought stability. He promoted multiculturalism and a national identity which acknowledged everyone in the country regardless of their tongue or ethnicity as Hungarian. As such he turned around the ongoing nationalist propaganda and extended it to people who previously were viewed as the oppressed. This change eventually resulted in the current face of Neo Hungaria.
Politics/Society
As its name suggests Neo Hungaria is a monarchy ruled by their king. The current regent is Mathias III, aged 42. He's the son of the late king Reinhard von Croy and direct descendant of the Arpád Dynasty. He was born in Belgium but spent most of his life in Hungary and later adopted the name Korona Mátyás (Mathias Crown). The main decision-making body of Neo Hungaria is the Parliament which is mostly dominated by the right-wing Hungarian Unity Novation (HUN) party albeit their authority is far less absolute compared to the past. In every four years the members of the Parliament are decided by vote although the system isn't completely clean. Hungarian is the the country's official language albeit given the large diversity of ethnicities and nationalities within Neo Hungaria they also support schools in other languages and people can do administrative duties in up to 11 tongues. Multiculturalism is prevalent albeit Hungarians subtly still enjoy some preferential treatment.
Economy
Neo Hungaria remained neutral through the entire length of WW3 which allowed them to survive these years relatively intact. Their neighbors were not so lucky and as Neo Hungaria conquered them it also had an impact on their economy. Their conquest was fueled by nationalist propaganda about restoring Hungary of the past yet in effect it also bore strategic importance. Many of the old kingdom's richest agricultural fields and allocation of natural resources were held by foreign countries. Reparations and war-waging costs were expensive but turned out to be rewarding on the long run. With these Neo Hungaria became an economic powerhouse compared to the rest of Europe. They have rich mountains abundant in materials, oil fields and excellent farmlands. Due to the latter they also invested considerable effort in producing various biofuels thus allowing them to be close to self-sufficient. Export of food and materials is one of their largest source of income.
Even prior to WW3 Hungary was keeping pace with other nations when it came to science and technology. This only accelerated after the formation of Neo Hungaria. The nation's economy multiplied more than tenfold and this had a drastic impact on technology and industry. Nowadays Neo Hungaria is one of the most developed nations in the world. In spite of their size compared to the various superpowers, Neo Hungaria is one of the top producers of carbon-nanotubes and other nanoconstructed chemicals.
Military
Ever since its conception Neo Hungaria put emphasis on their military and with a good reason. Even after its numerous territorial acquisitions Neo Hungaria was surrounded by giant nations that threatened their existence. As such compared to its neighbors Neo Hungaria is more militarized and their military expenses (along with R&D) reach as high as 21% of their budget. Along with the technological and industrial boom, Neo Hungaria also devoted great resources into arming their forces with only national products. This resulted in a temporarily setback as the industry for making weapons was yet to be finished but by the 2040s this idea became a reality.

Infantry:
Neo Hungaria's infantry is known for their high quality equipment. Manufactured by FÉG-ARMY they wear advanced protective suit made of CNT and other nanomaterials to offer considerable and full-body protection (including against radiation and chemical attacks) while the sensors and helmet offers enhanced information feed and situational awareness on the battlefield. Their current standard armament is the FÉG-K42 guns, one of the first mass-produced railgun carbines in the world. It fires the then standardized 4x16mm "dart" projectiles at the velocity of around 1500m/s and adjustable rate of fire usually ranging between 120 to 15000 RPM depending on how each mode is programmed. Power source is a compact CNT-supercapacitor with the nominal energy content of 4 kWh which is theoretically enough for over 5000 shots thus in general the only limiting factor the amount of ammo of which a railgun infantry can carry 4 times more. This added with the range and accuracy of the 4mm dart can give a considerable advantage for soldiers on the field. The downsides are obviously that the electronic systems need care and require their own line in logistics. Recharging is done at specialized stations, connection ports of military vehicles or even by solar panels and other hand devices like the "solar mat" which is a foil-like device that can be spread out on a surface to gather solar energy. Regardless for Neo Hungaria that mostly focuses on defense and asymmetric warfare their equipment are ideal for the purpose.

Light and advanced tank and the chief fighting vehicle employed by the Royal Hungarian Army. Its predecessor the Bocskai Tank was just a license-built version of the Polish PL-01. But following this subsequent versions constantly upgraded the tank to the extend that the Bocskai III tank is practically a whole different vehicle. The most notable difference is the new full-CNT chassis which improved protection while also decreasing weight, making the tank incredibly light and easy to transport. Though without dense heavy metal frame the armor only offers limited protection against APFSDS rounds. Another focus was on the tank's stealth. The Bocskai III uses the 3rd generation of the PL-01's thermal and radar stealth system and in standard combat situations and from sufficient distance this makes the vehicle practically undetectable. Newest addition is the Bocskai III's active camouflage system which by using the CNT's electronic properties can allow the tank to literally change colors, thus mimicking the surroundings. While this is obviously nowhere close to invisibility it works rather well from standard engagement distances. The Bocskai III also has the latest generation of passive and active protection systems which by the second variation includes a PL-100 laser point defense. Not to replace anti-missile defenses the laser works the best against distant or slow-moving explosive warheads. In dire situations it can also act as an anti-infatry platform with its rapid pulses. The tank's main armament is of course a railgun developed specially for the V2 model. The problem with railgun systems is the lack of versatility. The insensitive projectile doesn't allow much variation and the diameter is required to be the same. FÉG circumvents this issue by introducing the adaptive railgun concept. Its rail system can change its diameter thus allowing to shoot projectiles with varying size. Be it a solid 120mm bunker buster slug or a 20mm hypervelocity dart the weapon can handle it all. This is supported by a versatile and modular autoloader complex which can feed the system with multiple types of ammunition. The end result is a surprisingly versatile system which redefines the purpose of railguns. It can use CNT-reinforced tantalite slugs to act as explosive warheads. Can rapidly fire 12x48mm slugs with almost 0.1MJ energy each at 600-3000RPM like a devastating superheavy machinegun. Or unload the classic hypervelocity dart against armor. The possibilities are great and the limit is only within the imagination of Hungary's engineers. The only setback is that the new adaptive railgun alone costs almost as much as the rest of the tank, raising production cost twice to the original. In spite of that the Royal Hungarian Army upgraded all of their Bocskai III tanks to the V2 model by 2050.

While the Bocskai tanks are innovative, cheap and effective in warfare, there are several situation where the army requires a typical MBT for the job. As such Neo Hungaria developed the Toldi IV main battle tank. Named after a Hungarian knight famous for his strength and valor the Toldi IV is an advanced fighting vehicle with the latest weaponry and protection. Before railguns gained popularity 140-150mm systems dominated the battlefields. In some aspect cannons are still superior and more versatile so for the frontline tank MAVAG reintroduced the cannon, a 160mm multi-stage liquid propellant using tank gun. Its size allows to fire powerful explosive rounds and launching various missiles. Rumors say it's even capable of launching tactical nuclear warheads. Neo Hungary also developed their own unique armor system which is relatively light while offers great degree of protection. Tough and enduring, its microscopic BN honeycomb plates being immune to the "multiple hit problem" ceramic panels suffered. The armor was also made with the future possibility of irradiated environments and directed energy weapons in mind. Of course the Toldi IV also features the latest electronics, sensors and countermeasures with the E-variant debuting with the FÉG ORS-5 system with coverage and response time far better than most contemporary systems. All of these together makes the Toldi IVe a powerful but expensive tank when compared to the Bocskai III-V2.

The Kuvik is a small yet rather compact VTOL capable drone aircraft which focuses on close air support. It uses by then advanced magnetic propulsion system and effectively works like a mixture of helicopter and classical aircraft thus effectively replaced the former. It's equipped with a sophisticated AI that can follow its directives and continue fighting even in heavy radio/GPS jamming. Although for accountability it's preferable if the drone craft is remote controlled. In addition the Kuvik also features advanced stealth, including radar, thermal imaging and to a limited extend even visual camouflage (a system similar to what Botond III Tanks have). This combined with the drone's already tiny size makes the vehicle extremely difficult to spot thus the Kuvik earns increasing reputation for covert missions. The Kuvik is a Hungarian word describing a family of small-bodied ownls that hunt at night. Local folklore also associate the Kuvik's sound with death.

Uhu is a the big brother of the Kuvik dronecraft, developed to provide heavier fire support and overall greater capabilities. It features the same stealth system as the Kuvik albeit its size and larger radiation signature makes it easier to spot. Before being issued for the military the machine (classified as "Bagoly" at the time) was a test craft for various electromagnetic propulsion designs and future dronecrafts. It also served as testbed for directed energy weapons and their behavior in adverse conditions. But after a few years it became apparent the military needs a larger drone to truly substitute attack helicopters in their role. As such they proposed a more streamlined version of the Bagoly, designated as the Uhu. The large dronecraft can carry much more payload and has extensive active protection systems. In addition because of the nature of the magnetoaerodynamic drive it was easy to integrate a collider type particle accelerator and use a redesigned version of the test-type directed energy weapon in combat. Compared to most lasers this sports greater range and power, though obviously it's ineffective against properly armored targets. On the other hand it's a versatile system that can be used as a particle accelerator gun, laser, x-ray emitter and even gamma laser. As such even though it cannot burn through armor the high-energy radiation can be used to disable electronic equipment or (more rarely) to kill infantry. The gamma ray laser emits sufficient radiation to send humans into coma and kill them via major organ failure within hours or even minutes. The radiological weapon can potentially also used to intercept missiles, even large ICBMs. The Uhu is a versatile but also relatively expensive vehicle. The use of radiological weapons is also currently a secret in fear of international response. For the latter reason the Uhu is equipped by multiple self-destruct mechanisms to prevent the recovery of the wreckage. Uhu is a Hungarian word for a species of large-bodied owls. Their naming represents the dronecraft's relation to the LEG-142 (Kuvik) in size.

Currently Large from the War, The Celtic League is working on reducing the size of the military and delegate them to peacekeeping and self defense purposes.
Army: The Celtic Army is by far one of the most advanced thanks to the technological prowess of the League. All active personnel in the army are equipped with "Belfast Model" exosuits, designed to act as both a kind of lightweight armor, being constructed from lightweight ceramics on the outside and with an interior made from kevlar. In addition, each suit is filled with high tech computers and medical supplies to treat solider on the battlefield with little need for manual first aid. The suit is able to administer antibiotics and analgesics when prompted by the internal implant connected to the soldier's nervous system. Other functions include portions of the suit compressing to stop bleeding a sort of interconnection between suits to provide easy communication among soldiers.
Soldiers are armed with ballistic weapons such as automatic rifles and pistols, but artillery have access to a kind of prototype sonic cannon. The weapon is designed to debilitate enemies and sap their morale, the painful experience of being exposed to the weapon as enough to force a surrender being the goal. The weapons are currently nonlethal, and often found equipped onto tanks or carried by artillery soldiers. These weapons played a vital role in the conquest of Northern Ireland.
Navy The League has a proud history of Naval Power, and the modern age is no exception. Galway, Cork, Aberdeen and Oviedo are the major ports in the league. It currently has a fleet of 70 Ships. Comprised of 15 Figates, 10 Submarines, 9 destroyers, 10 Patrols, 3 Surveys, 3 Icebreakers. The ships' models were developed mostly in Scotland, and are powered mostly as Nuclear or Hydrogen/Anti-Hydrogen based vehicles.
Air Force The Air Force is a sadly neglected portion of the Celtic Military. It is in possetion of about 300 Aircraft, most of which are stationed in either Dublin, Oviedo or Glasgow.
Productions: Since the union between Ireland and Scotland was cemented in the fires of WW3, the two nations have begun to produce far beyond what they were capable of before the war. In particular, the Celtic League has been paving the way in advanced robotics and software.
The "Edinburgh Model" exosuit is by far the most famous of Celtic inventions, being the basis for most modern forms of military exosuits. More recently, the improved "Belfast Model" was created, using a built in neural interface computer to communicate with a medical implant to administer antibiotics and painkillers, along with basic first aid to those who are injured; either through thought or instinctive brain reactions to pain or disease.
Through this also came the Celtic League's innovations in medicine. It is the #1 producer of neural interface prosthetics and implants such as the Belfast Implant, which are becoming more and more affordable thanks to Ireland's deposits of necessary materials and the many production centers in Scotland and Man. Ireland is currently a major producer and exporter of Base Metals, Natural Gas, and Hydrogen/Anti-Hydrogens, which has almost entirely replaced the need for Oil within Celtic Borders, in conjunction with Scotland's abundant Energy Sources including Gas, Oil, Wind and Tidal Power. The Celtic League is also in production of Hydrogen/Anti-Hydrogen fuel cells to be used in conjunction with their abundantly produced hydrogen fuels, and carrying out extensive research in the field of Antimatter Energy.
History of the Nation: When WW3 broke out, it was only inevitable that Britain would become a target in the fight between world powers. In the chaos that became of World War 3, the Union collapsed under the vicious assaults, leaving Scotland and Northern Ireland as independent nations. England was in no position to be anything of use to Scotland after the severe blows it had taken in the war, leaving Scotland to propose a union with Ireland, who had by comparison suffered little. Ireland accepted the proposal, using leverage from Scotland in the war to begin the conquest of Northern Ireland.
Irish Republic Forces invaded from the south while Scottish forces came from the North. The invasion was long and drawn out, with the Northern Irish holding on for a good 3 years of the assault from both sides. However, the war would come to an end when Scottish soldiers using ships mounted with sonic devices attacked Belfast, and finished off with a full out attack on the city. The North had no choice but to surrender, being incorporated into the territory of Ireland.
When the war was beginning to come to an end, the Union was asked by the Isle of Man for admittance into their state. The request was granted. Once a peace was achieved, the Gaels looked not to war, but to economics. They sent offerings to Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria to join the league. Wales, Cornwall, Galicia and Asturias joined heartily, but the offer was turned down by Brittany and Cantabria as shown in popular elections.
Once the modern nation was stabilized, the Celts began working off of the technological advancements made in the war by Scotland, plus the valuable natural resources of Ireland and Gallaecia. The League began carving a niche in medical robotics and Antimatter Production, banking on this to secure a favorable economic position, and boost their damaged economy that came from ww3.
In many ways, it worked. The Union has a very strong economy, and technology is only increasing in the electronics and software fields, with medicine following in as well. The Celtic League is recognized for having one of the greatest qualities of life post war, but also for its extensive infrastructural damage, which has ironically only boosted their search for machines and people to maintain them as rebuilding commences.
Main Religion: The Celtic League is a Secular State, there is no offical religion. However, the vast majority of the country is very Christian. There is still the historic conflict between Catholics and Protestants; with a region sometimes said as siding with Eire or with Alba.
Other: The Celtic languages are beginning to once again see use as widespread toungues. While the Celtic League officially has 7 offical languages, The Lingua Franca of the country is Irish, and is becoming more important on the international scale with the Celtic League's rise to power in place of the steadily plummeting England. English, while still very widely spoken, is seen as a tool of opression by the Celts, who refuse to use it in many cases now that their own languages are starting to make come backs.
Irish is the "prestige" language of the country. Though officially equal to the other 6, on only has to look at the media and government of the League to see that Irish captivates the hearts and minds of the people. Welsh is a close second, being most popular in Wales, Cornwall and Gallaecia. However, Welsh is still far behind in the race for Lingua Franca with Irish, mostly due to the presitious view many Celts have for Ireland, being seen as the Model Celtic Nation. Most Politicians are of Irish or Scottish origin, and most Federal Positions have Irish names. Any Traveller or Buisnessman who wants to do business with The Celtic League would do well to learn Irish.

Currently Large from the War, The Celtic League is working on reducing the size of the military and delegate them to peacekeeping and self defense purposes.
Army: The Celtic Army is by far one of the most advanced thanks to the technological prowess of the League. All active personnel in the army are equipped with "Belfast Model" exosuits, designed to act as both a kind of lightweight armor, being constructed from lightweight ceramics on the outside and with an interior made from kevlar. In addition, each suit is filled with high tech computers and medical supplies to treat solider on the battlefield with little need for manual first aid. The suit is able to administer antibiotics and analgesics when prompted by the internal implant connected to the soldier's nervous system. Other functions include portions of the suit compressing to stop bleeding a sort of interconnection between suits to provide easy communication among soldiers.
Soldiers are armed with ballistic weapons such as automatic rifles and pistols, but artillery have access to a kind of prototype sonic cannon. The weapon is designed to debilitate enemies and sap their morale, the painful experience of being exposed to the weapon as enough to force a surrender being the goal. The weapons are currently nonlethal, and often found equipped onto tanks or carried by artillery soldiers. These weapons played a vital role in the conquest of Northern Ireland.
Navy The League has a proud history of Naval Power, and the modern age is no exception. Galway, Cork, Aberdeen and Oviedo are the major ports in the league. It currently has a fleet of 70 Ships. Comprised of 15 Figates, 10 Submarines, 9 destroyers, 10 Patrols, 3 Surveys, 3 Icebreakers. The ships' models were developed mostly in Scotland, and are powered mostly as Nuclear or Hydrogen/Anti-Hydrogen based vehicles.
Air Force The Air Force is a sadly neglected portion of the Celtic Military. It is in possetion of about 300 Aircraft, most of which are stationed in either Dublin, Oviedo or Glasgow.
Productions: Since the union between Ireland and Scotland was cemented in the fires of WW3, the two nations have begun to produce far beyond what they were capable of before the war. In particular, the Celtic League has been paving the way in advanced robotics and software.
The "Edinburgh Model" exosuit is by far the most famous of Celtic inventions, being the basis for most modern forms of military exosuits. More recently, the improved "Belfast Model" was created, using a built in neural interface computer to communicate with a medical implant to administer antibiotics and painkillers, along with basic first aid to those who are injured; either through thought or instinctive brain reactions to pain or disease.
Through this also came the Celtic League's innovations in medicine. It is the #1 producer of neural interface prosthetics and implants such as the Belfast Implant, which are becoming more and more affordable thanks to Ireland's deposits of necessary materials and the many production centers in Scotland and Man. Ireland is currently a major producer and exporter of Base Metals, Natural Gas, and Hydrogen/Anti-Hydrogens, which has almost entirely replaced the need for Oil within Celtic Borders, in conjunction with Scotland's abundant Energy Sources including Gas, Oil, Wind and Tidal Power. The Celtic League is also in production of Hydrogen/Anti-Hydrogen fuel cells to be used in conjunction with their abundantly produced hydrogen fuels, and carrying out extensive research in the field of Antimatter Energy.
History of the Nation: When WW3 broke out, it was only inevitable that Britain would become a target in the fight between world powers. In the chaos that became of World War 3, the Union collapsed under the vicious assaults, leaving Scotland and Northern Ireland as independent nations. England was in no position to be anything of use to Scotland after the severe blows it had taken in the war, leaving Scotland to propose a union with Ireland, who had by comparison suffered little. Ireland accepted the proposal, using leverage from Scotland in the war to begin the conquest of Northern Ireland.
Irish Republic Forces invaded from the south while Scottish forces came from the North. The invasion was long and drawn out, with the Northern Irish holding on for a good 3 years of the assault from both sides. However, the war would come to an end when Scottish soldiers using ships mounted with sonic devices attacked Belfast, and finished off with a full out attack on the city. The North had no choice but to surrender, being incorporated into the territory of Ireland.
When the war was beginning to come to an end, the Union was asked by the Isle of Man for admittance into their state. The request was granted. Once a peace was achieved, the Gaels looked not to war, but to economics. They sent offerings to Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria to join the league. Wales, Cornwall, Galicia and Asturias joined heartily, but the offer was turned down by Brittany and Cantabria as shown in popular elections.
Once the modern nation was stabilized, the Celts began working off of the technological advancements made in the war by Scotland, plus the valuable natural resources of Ireland and Gallaecia. The League began carving a niche in medical robotics and Antimatter Production, banking on this to secure a favorable economic position, and boost their damaged economy that came from ww3.
In many ways, it worked. The Union has a very strong economy, and technology is only increasing in the electronics and software fields, with medicine following in as well. The Celtic League is recognized for having one of the greatest qualities of life post war, but also for its extensive infrastructural damage, which has ironically only boosted their search for machines and people to maintain them as rebuilding commences.
Main Religion: The Celtic League is a Secular State, there is no offical religion. However, the vast majority of the country is very Christian. There is still the historic conflict between Catholics and Protestants; with a region sometimes said as siding with Eire or with Alba.

The Army
The Chinese army had long been purely reliant on its powerful numbers versus technology but in the early 2000's, they had begun to change this. By 2020, the chinese army had begun modernizing with the highest tech weaponry they could procure.
When the great war began these new weapons were in short supply. As potent as they may have been, it was all lost to the conventional and nuclear exchange. After the war ended, the Chinese had access to high end russian tanks of that time and a huge surplus of soviet era retrofitted tanks. This was not enough if they were to survive in this new world so they began updating once more and over the years, especially with the addition of japan and south Korea, have created a modern fighting force that would be folly to disregard
Even as 'New Asia' has access to abundant rare and common materials, they still stick to simple yet effective designs. they use a variety of advanced kinetic assault rifles and high tech man-portable SAM and AT weaponry. Their armored forces utilize a Main battle tank armed with a high powered rail-gun, stealth capabilities and a state secret armor. New Asia's biggest feat however are their heavy foray into robotics which has yielded armored rifle toting drones and heavier walking assault platforms to supplement their already massive military.

The Chinese air force was hit the hardest during the war. Losses piled up as nations fought for aerial supremacy in the area. Chinese jets fought the F-16's and 15's in Japan and assorted British and American aircraft in Korea and Australia. From the ashes rose another potent force, one that has radically changed its doctrine to accommodate the newest nations weapons of war. Fighters armed with lasers to take down missiles and other air threats. Rail guns for any reason and many other types of weaponry now are commonplace among the newer aircraft. Even with all of these technological super warplanes, the PFRA still maintain a large reserve of captured American, British and Russian warplanes from their early conquests.

China has always been in the shadow of the United states when it comes to the navy. Constantly outgunned and out numbered by the strongest military in the world at the time. China had begun to counter this in the the early 2000's with various programs to update their laughable in comparison navy. They became a true Blue water navy in the late 2010's with the launch of two super carriers, able to compete with the American juggernauts of that time.
The war proved that no navy is perfect and even though the American Navy and Chinese Navy were nearly evenly matched in terms of naval numbers and technology by the onset of the war, The Americans had a clear advantage of experience which resulted in a series of decisive Naval defeats for China. It was fortunate that the United States fractured which allowed the New Asia to once again push for Dominance. Now with the experience learned from the war and high end naval technologies, not to mention the five Nuclear-Super carriers roaming the western half of the Pacific and another two in the China sea, they have have one of the largest modernized navies on the face of the planet.

True Asia truly began during the reformist movement of the late 2010's. With China crashing markets all over the world by closing its markets and dumping debts. With no real influx of cheap merchandise, numerous corporations world wide folded.
This actually hurt China more than they thought as there was now thousands of abandoned factories and millions without work. The Chinese began building what ever they could to keep their now struggling economy alive but it was going downhill fast.
The future was bleak but salvation came; The Great War.
As the war set off, nuclear exchange was inevitable so the Chinese spread its population to try and mitigate the damage to its population. Warplanes launched ASAT missiles to remove spy satellites they could reach.
The black out helped save many live but also allowed the Chinese to move in some secrecy so they positioned their armies for war.
As the war in Europe reached its high point and Britain seemingly sitting it out, China made its move. Mongolia was overran without a shot which emboldened the Chinese.
South Korea was next on the list and they anticipated another easy victory but it was not to be. Americans fired nuclear weapons into north Korea and along the border, creating a nuclear barrier. China deployed its navy to draw American fleets away by bombing Hawaii and harassing shipping.
American naval forces took the bait which allowed China to begin its air war against what was stationed on mainland south Korea. It was not as easy as they had hoped as they seriously underestimated NATO and south Korea pilots. While the air battle was raging, China snuck marine forces to the south and then began nuking the DMZ.
American forces began to retreat under the stress from the attacks but still fought every inch of the way. The Chinese army generals began moving troops through safe areas of the DMZ and began their core invasion. The troops marched en masse, pushing Nato forces back to the Capitol of South Korea.
Word of the civil war in America spread like wild fire which gave China new incentive to advance and they made tremendous gains. As the battle for Korea was winding down, the Chinese generals offered remaining US forces safe passage to Hawaii out of respect.
China began assimilating south Korea and began spreading south rapidly, overtaking many of the largely undefended Oceania islands. The battle for Oceania wasn't as costly as Korea but was not easy either. Engaging Australian forces every step of the way.
With American forces largely withdrawn from the china sea, there was no one to help mainland Australia. Chinese bombers struck major cities killing thousands with conventional bombs. Australia was nearly destroyed but the war with India saved them.
The battle for India began when India invaded Pakistan, one of Chinas long time allies. The war was brief but ended with a large nuclear exclusion zone along the borders of the two great nations. Pakistan stood without its massive ally and succumbed to Indian rule.
China now had abandoned its plans for Oceania and just kept its gains but turned its eyes north, to Japan.
It was potentially a blood bath but as American forces abandoned Japan, Chinese invasion of Okinawa began. It was a decisive victory for China as they had taken Japan by surprise.
Japan didn't make that mistake twice and successfully repelled the first invasion but failed to stop the second from landfall. China became bogged down trying to fight the Japanese so they decided a show of force was necessary, as the Americans had done in World war 2.
China set off a barrage of nuclear weapons north of Tokyo, just close enough to be obvious. Japan capitulated shortly after.
After all of these gains, plans for invading further north and west were laid out but as the world war was coming to a close, china dropped those plans and began to solidify its gains.
A grand unity took place and with that pride rose a new Coalition.
