Name: Sylvie Ann
Age: 16.
Profession: Sophomore.
Bio:
Sylvie is the oldest daughter of Adele Savatier and estranged father Alan. She has two younger brothers, ten-years-old twins Remy and Lucas. They live on the upper east side in a three bedroom apartment complex. And she is a sophomore at Dalton School, just one block away from their home.
Her parent’s divorced when she was four-years-old, and after that Sylvie lived with her grandmother Sylvia - the woman who raised her and who she lovingly called Mama. Her grandmother died when Sylvie was eight years old. It was her first experience with death and so it dramatically scar her.
For the next few years she grew up with a sense of abandonment, her father was absent from her life, her grandmother was gone, and her mother’s demanding job kept her, often, away. Sylvie’s loneliness turned her into an introverted child. It wasn’t until her mother’s doctor boyfriend came into the picture that Sylvie felt like she had a family again -- It was he who helped Sylvie come out of her shell -- Soon after they married her mother gave birth to twin boys, and for a few years it was the best of times.
A year ago, death once again came into her life, this time taking the life of her step-dad. His death was deeply felt, more so than the death of her grandmother. He had filled the empty space of her father and Sylvie loved him deeply for it. His death completely changed Sylvie’s relationship with her family.
Her mother demands more and more of her, constantly pushing her brothers on her as if they were her responsibility. A role she refuses to accept. She’s made new friends, other kids her age that get her, and has gain the attention of a certain young man with a notorious history. Their flourishing relationship has become the cause of much discourse between Sylvie and Adele.
