Just about any person will tell you we, the people of Earth, are the only living things in the Solar System. However, are they right? In the 2040 Humans finally begin colonization of the red planet, Mars. After 4 years a group of scientists make a discovery that will change life as we know it. They discover sentient life forms in an underground cavern of Mars. These creatures are tall, humanoid creatures, sharing many tested with us, although being taller and thinner. Another difference is they are all either albino or light green. As well as all that they are much smarter than any other human being. So, we try to live in peace with these Martians, integrating them into our society, but only treat them with prejudice and segregate them. So 6 years later they revolt killing nearly all humans on Mars and sending the rest back to Earth. 16 tense years later they invade Earth, taking Australia in less than a week.

While many nations try to stop them with invasions and special operations teams, they ultimately fail. And after the death of the Navy SEALS, a group of SAS, as well as a group of Spetsnaz the U.N. Takes control and makes one special operations team to defeat this Martian menace, The Earth Defense Unit. after 4 years in this war and seeing how effective they are, the U.N. Begins recruiting men and women worldwide to be part of a second squad of this team. And after you recieve one of these fliers you are invited to join the team.

So basically you can be any type of specialist in any type of field. You could be an actual soldier, a scientist, a mecrenary, a murderer, anything. Just please don't Mary Sue. And also don't all be from America, there's a reason that the U.N. Is recruiting worldwide. So I'm assuming you know the basic rules of RP so all I'm going to emphasize is DON'T KILL OTHER PEOPLES CHARACTERS WITHOUT PERMISSION God I hate when people do that, anyway here's the character sheet, oh yeah and remember to have fun!

Backstory: Felix has always been two things: an extreme opportunist and a magnet for misfortune. He's lived his entire life figuring out new ways to beat the odds and make "the score of a lifetime," then narrowly escaping when some small glitch brings everything crashing down.

Through it all, he managed to scrape by due to his smooth tongue and seemingly supernatural skill with electronics. His big break may have never come through, but small jobs on both sides of the law kept his bank account in the black. Then, one day, he stole the identity of a man who had a massive bank balance, a terrible temper, and just so happened to control the illegal drug supply of the entire Scandinavian subcontinent. There was nowhere for Felix to run from the gang lord's wrath, but he did his level best. He managed to make his way around the world, lying or hacking his way onto transports and bribing his way out of the inevitable legal trouble.

Eventually, he came to a stop in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he caught wind of the Earth Defense Unit's recruitment effort. He called and signed up without a second thought, figuring that his mandatory stint in the Finnish army would qualify him to join and his proficiency with computers would keep him out of combat. At least he was halfway right.
