You stir awake, face down, on the cool floor. Wait... maybe not a floor at all, maybe just ground? What you feel against your cheek is definitely stone but, surely, there are occasions where one might find stone flooring inside a.... Either way! Too much time has been spent tarrying on such an insignificant detail. You're in unfamiliar surroundings, cold, dark, alone? Your thoughts come to you only with great effort, like swimming up river. You push your body away from your less-then-comfortable resting place and set back on your hind end. Your body feels rough, to say the least, and the faint taste of blood in your mouth suggest that you may not have found yourself where ever you are of your own free will.
You cough and fleck more blood against your tongue and lips.
This cough merits you two things:
One: You aren't hurt nearly enough to be genuinely worried about it.
Two: You are definitely in a room of some sort and you are, most assuredly, not alone.
Your cough had the unintended effect of waking something around you. Hearing these sounds develop have the effect of startling you, quite badly, and you get up but all too fast. Once to your feet you find your body and mind at ends and trip over your own feet. Two or so feet back you slam your back into what could only be bars; metal of some make-up. This knocks the wind out of you and leaves you blinking tears from your eyes.
If you could just think.... If you could just see...
Something grabs at one of the bars that you currently rest against. That's when you catch the faintest wisp of an unpleasant smell. You grasp through the slush that is your current thought process, trying desperately to place the odor. The hair on the back of your neck threatens revolt at is prickles past it's own believed potential.
Blood...
Without question but not just... Something worse, … something as well. Disinfectant with the unmistakable smell of decay layered underneath. Like wounds left untended, like hospital surgery rooms, like corpse prepping tables at a morgue, like.... You retch. Hard. And fall to your knees. The sluggishness of your thoughts find no clarity in nearly vomiting and you hardly notice the sound of who ever, what ever, shuffling in the darkness around you. What snaps you back is the lights blinking on with their blinding fluorescence. What you couldn't see before grants you no peace of mind now.
…. Anyways!
I'd like to GM a Horror/Survival RP! I've recently finished Until Dawn and I'd like to see another such story play out. The a fore typed rambling was to set the mood! I'd like to have a group of six or so to try their hands at making it through the night of my design. You can work together as a group or run off solo to inevitably die as all solo characters often do in the Horror genre. Really, though. Consider this your chance to see if a character of your making has a chance to make it through... Until early morning!
P.S. This will be a serious RP. I, however, will likely not be serious OOC.
What I'm looking for!!!!
1. 6-8 participants! (The more couples the better!)
2. This is, within the limits of the rules, going to get messy. Please check your own I.D. And make certain you are 18+
3. Maybe a Co-GM? I dunno! You do the work!
I'm going to place this in general interest and see where it lands me. I'd place myself amongst the casual Rp'ers but I'll see what group of writing would most like to see this in action. I have a general idea of where I'd like this all to start and such but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Pms are also welcome!
Small List-o-Facts:
You will be a college student
You will have very little in game starting knowledge
You will submit to me a list of strengths, weaknesses, and fears of your characters
You might not make it to the end of this RP
