So if any of you are Cyndago, Markiplier or likely even Jacksepticeye fans, you likely know about the news that broke on Saturday night. For those of you who know who I'm talking about, but aren't aware, it was released on Saturday night that Daniel Kyre of Cyndago passed away after an apparent suicide attempt. He was 21.

This has hit the community hard and I'm hoping to find people on here who can sort of send their condolences as well. If not, then I'd at least like to put the news out there, because I feel like he deserved to have the whole world know about him, in life as well as death.

Though I never met him, I know that Daniel was an extremely talented, dedicated, and creative young man. He was someone that I looked up to for his drive and creativity, and his ceaseless mission to expect more of himself, and urge others to do the same.

We've truly lost someone irreplaceable, and I thought that people should know that.

Rest in peace, Daniel. You will not be forgotten.

All this fuss over a perfect stranger who simply produces videos for YouTube; reminds me of the Jim Jones personality cult. Pretty soon people are gonna start drinking the kool aid.

Did I offend you? Fact is, you should be offended by this thread. To put things in perspective; I had an uncle who I've met two times in my entire life. I didn't even go to his funueral because that would have been disrespectful. Daniel has friends and family who can mourn him. He doesn't need this. Celebrity worship is a plague. As someone who has been stalked and obsessed over, I know it's not fun. Once upon a time there this famous girl called Jodie Foster, Enya, Bjork, Anne Murray, Selena. I could go on and on. The person (who admits that they don't even know him) should send his condolences directly to Daniel's family. Yes, pretty soon people are gonna start drinking the kool aid over these (non)famous people. It's not only offensive - it's pathetic. This is just my opinion, but I can find lots of people who would agree.

I simply asked if you really were comparing someone's death to a mass murder-suicide that resulted in the deaths of nearly a thousand people. I understand entirely the point you're trying to make, even through your lackadaisical self-indulging tirade. These are issues that you need to resolve outside of this space. Rub two brain cells together and realize that you're being silly.

Does it honestly matter why people are mourning this person? Most deaths are a tragedy, and while some of his fans may not of met him, he was in their life in some capacity. Some people have shit days, and they cope with it by doing plenty of things, such as watching YouTube producers.

And this was a suicide, no less, which raises the question if he had depression and how mental illness affects people. It might not be earth shattering news, but you're 'tirade', which is an apt choice of word, only served to make you seem extremely cold and callous.

The short answer is, people can mourn who they want for whatever reason they want, and you saying otherwise is wholly disrespectful to the mourners and more importantly the victim.

Right above all the posts in the Roleplayer Guild website, it shows how old a particular post is. Necroing old posts generally is not looked well upon, for future reference. I mean, the drama is already done and over with and everyone has gone home. There's no point in trying to bring it back to life.

I don't know how dead it is, actually. Personally, my mind is still reeling as to why you felt the undying need to make the first comment on a perfectly harmless thread (one made while I was upset and looking for anyone who may have been sharing my feelings, in case you were curious) a hateful one.
