In the year 2025 a hit new board game was created called Future Shock. It involved eight players taking the roles of eight heroes to save the world of Chrono from The Order of Chaos. For a month the sales skyrocketed, but soon a string of disappearances started and it all seemed to be around the players of the game. Many speculated that the game corrupted the players and made them feel as though they were the actually characters of the game and would run away to find the lands of Chrono.
A recall of the games where issued and anyone who had the game was to come in for mandatory testing to figure out the causes of the disappearances. In total five hundred board games where sold and it seemed all the disappearances were just coincidence since many of the players didn’t show any symptoms or irregular behavior. However, that all changed when they tested the five hundredth game. Everything seemed fine as the players set up the game and established their roles. The first few rolls seemed to result in nothing, but it wasn’t until a player rolled a double six. The board began to shack and glow before a massive vortex ripped from the board game and sucked the eight players into the board. As quickly as the vortex appeared, it disappeared along with the players.
The scientist where dumbfounded as to what they just saw. They began to test the other board games, but this time used test dummies and controlled the test by making sure the dice rolled a double six. Just like before, the game shook, glowed, and a vortex appeared. The dummies where sucked into the game. Every single board game had the same effects when a double six was rolled.
After their findings they ordered the destruction of the board game and its creature arrested. However, its creator had seemed to disappear into thin air. All they had was a name since he never made public appearances when the game was announced. It seemed Maximillian Santoro had cursed the board game after police searched his home and found satanic ritual writing on the walls with voodoo dolls scattered around the room. When the five hundredth board game was scheduled to be destroyed. It seemed to pull a page from Maximillian as it vanished from the face of the earth. That wasn’t the case however; it had somehow traveled 20 years into the past.
Eight collage friends who used an abandoned home as their hang out found the board game and foolishly set it up and established their roles in the game. Should one of them roll a double six, their lives will be forever changed because only those who have been sucked into the game know what awaits the unlucky players of Future Shock.

Land of Chrono:
The land of Chrono is divided into many nations:
Lunar Crescent is an island that is covered in an array of vegetation ranging from: the Phoenix Trees that are able to resurrect any weary traveler that has met their untimely fate near them, the Spider Trees that consume anything that comes in contact with them, to the Crystal Trees that’s bark is made of a mixture of diamonds and pearls and produce the Blood Rose whose nectar can cure any ailment. In the Crystal Forest travelers will find the Nekro Tribe. A race of half human half animal tribe that welcome any and all into their home.
The Black Core Islands are four islands surrounding a massive Island housing the Black Core Volcano. Each island and main Island holds the Rock Bitters. A tribe of Earth Elementals that do nothing but continue to dig and look for ore they can sell to the other tribes for gold coins which they feed on. Each island surrounding the Black Core Volcano holds a different black smith shop where the Rock Bitters will craft weapons from the ore to sell for more gold coins.
High above the lands of Chrono is the Sky Castle. It houses the Wind Elementals known as the Wind Wakers. Like the Nekro’s they will welcome any traveler with open arms. The Wind Wakers are able to control the weather of Chrono. With such powerful skills, the Wind Wakers have stayed neutral during any war or battle that happens.
The massive land mass in the middle of Chrono is known as the Spitfire Desert. It holds massive geysers that spew out fire. In the middle of the desert is the City of Gears. A Futuristic city that is surrounded by a dome to keep out the monsters that live in the desert. This is where the human race lives. Travelers who brave the desert and the monsters are greeted with a bag of gold and an occupation so they can live their life without worry.
Under the waters of Chrono lives the nation of Deep Blue. This is where the Aqua Whisperers and Merfolk live. The Aqua Whisperers or Water Elementals are unable to leave the water while the merfolk can breathe in both underwater and above the water. The merfolk are the main sellers of seafood and underwater jewelry. The merfolk have arms and legs which allow them to walk on land. The Water Elementals are in charge of the tides and the sea life. Should they ever leave the water, they will evaporate and die.
Deep under Chrono lives the Magmas. They are Fire Elemental that are in charge of Chrono’s core and the flow of lava under Chrono’s plates. To keep the core from overheating, they shoot out the excess heat towards the surface. This is why the geysers in the Spitfire Desert spew out flames. The Fire Elementals have what they call veins that connect to different black smith shops. Everyone who commits to the black smith trade must make a pact with the Fire Elementals so they may use the heat from the core to create their weapons. Should a Fire Elementals ever leave the core, they will turn into igneous rock and die.
To the north is a dark nation called Black Phoenix City. This is where the tribe of Black Bloods lives. They are a race of dark purple elvish creatures that studying in black magic. They are rarely seen and when one is seen, it usually means they are on an assassination mission. Seeing a Black Blood is nothing to worry about, it’s when you don’t see a Black Blood is when you’re in trouble.
Finally to the south is the City of Pure Light. This is where the tribe of Silver bloods lives. They are like the Black blood but they are silverfish green elfish creatures that study the Art of Pure Light. This allows the user to connect to higher powers to help injuries and wounds. They travel the world looking for those in need and those who have lost their way.
