- Appearance Genesis is a teenager around 5'11, coming from African American descent. He has what would be considered a short, neat 'fade' type of haircut, with sharp, arching eyebrows and light brown eyes. He generally wears whatever he finds in his closet or dresser, but, at the specific time of this role-play, he wears a simple gray t-shirt, jeans, dark gray and black sneakers, and a black and white Nike hoodie over it.
- Physicality He is lean, yet with a defined and athletic build from the brief time he played football in his freshman and sophomore year, and home exercise. Genesis runs pretty fast due to reasonably long legs and good stamina, and has about the normal amount of strength you'd expect from a teenager with the above physicality.
- Personality Talk to me and find out. Haaah, kidding. Well, Genesis is a pretty cool-headed guy once you meet him. Laidback and a bit quiet, mainly because he doesn't really find a reason to talk unless he's with his friends. Generally level-headed, he is a shrewd person, and is quick to react to any situations regarding him. Although he can seem a bit...stoic or whatever, he actually has a kind heart, and just likes to keep busy with something so that he doesn't feel awkward and useless. His patience can run out pretty fast, despite seeming calm, and when his temper runs out, he could be very aggressive. However, despite a dry and often dark humor that usually only gets shared with his friends, or when he feels the need to crack a joke, Genesis is the type of guy who you would see as independent. He has tough skin and is used to hard-work.
- Lifestyle Born in America, Genesis had a pretty...well, not rough life, but he had to work a lot to get money to hang out with friends, and he never really had a silver-spoon - not even a tin spoon, honestly. This has made him a bit callused and non-sympathetic with lazy and weak people, but eh. He mow yards, works in barns and fields, and whatever odd job he can get for some cash, as long as it isn't illegal - his mom ain't raise him like that, after all.
- Why you're here? It was actually a trip with his JROTC district, as they were visiting Chicago to see some of the aviation museums they offered.
- Skills Well, Genesis isn't a trained ninja or whatever, if that's what you're asking. Other than physical athleticism, he's very self-independent, and has fast reflexes. He can usually learn something if you give him time and silence. Due to writing short stories and RPing, he has very nimble fingers, which lets him do some sleight-of-hand tricks. He also has a tough stomach, and can handle some hunting rifles due to, surprise surprise, hunting in the country. He hates bows, though. Freaking sucks at it. Give him a baseball bat or something to hit someone with, and he can do it, though. That doesn't require much skills - just a steady hand and decent eyesight.
- Possessions His black and bronze New Orlean Saints backpack, which is pretty light-weight. It has some snacks, a lighter, some water, and his housekeys.
- Appearance: Short, dark dirty blonde hair, gelled up in the front. Grey eyes, slightly pale complexion. 6'2, 153 pounds. Toned but not all that buff and bulging. Broad shoulders, slim body type. Wearing leather jacket, white under armour shirt, dark jeans, and a pair of nike running sneakers. (Plus neon batman spandex and black nike socks if you must know).
- Physicality: Strong but definitely not the strongest by any means, unless some serious adrenaline. Bench maybe 200, squat 300, etc. Most of strength is core, legs, and upper body. Pretty fast, however, conditioned and experienced runner (damn coach) long legs help too. Tolerant to minor pain but a broken bone of something of that severity would probably be painful. Not the most durable person, gets cuts and bruises often but usually nothing major.
- Personality: A nice guy for the most part, at least on first introduction. Tries to make friends and not piss too many people off. Although he can be a sarcastic asshole, at this point, he'll bite back his tongue if need be. He'd rather be charismatic and try to make friends then get killed or stabbed in the back. Natural flirt, as a teenager usually is. Tries to talk his way out of things and might lie or be deceitful. Intelligent for the most part but sometimes lacks common sense and says the stupidest shit. Mature for his age, but still growing and learning obviously.
- Lifestyle: United States. School has been stressful but somewhat enjoyable, plays on football, volleyball, and basketball teams at his school. Worked with his dad as a mechanic, only really grasping the basis of it and more or less learned the driving part very well. Also, worked with his step dad as a contractor, but again, caught very little of it. Over 4.0 GPA, quite intelligent, wants to go to law school to work as a lawyer and further himself in the political world. Classes are AP physics, calculus, Spanish, choir, gym, AP gov and politics, Honors British literature, and global studies. Also in school choir, musical department, film club, D&D club, and debate club.
- Why you're here?:Looking at nearby law schools and visiting a nearby campus for college, drove there because it's only a few hours drive to Chicago.
- Skills: Fairly decent at understanding technology, learned basic self-defense and boxing, has shot a gun on multiple occasions, although not a master at it, better than average. Great at videogames, volleyball, basketball, football (If those help in a zombie apocalypse) and used to play soccer. Natural at driving (got it from his dad). Able to sing fairly well and play guitar. Good at cards and other similar games. Strong swimmer. Great at hacky-sack. Problem-solving skills. And a trained professional at eating and sleeping.
- Possessions: Car keys, a wallet with a credit card, 200 dollars, a gamestop giftcard, and a driver's license, an iPhone 5c, a small pocket knife, and a pack of gum.
It looks real interesting, but I have too many roleplays right now, and I think I might even start dropping some of those. I'll be watching, if you guys ever need to find a lone survivor or something.
- Appearance 5'8" tall and 150 pounds. Long brunette hair with dark bedroom eyes. I'm usually wearing jeans, cowgirl boots, and a low cut t-shirt but I love to dress up in casual dresses with heels. What girl doesn't?
- Physicality I can hold my own in a fight, but I'm no Ronda Rowsey and I sure couldn't finish a marathon if I actually had to run the whole way. I have decent aim due to my frequent visits to the local gun range. I love shotguns but prefer a steady handgun.
- Personality To make it short, have you seen the movie Trainwreck with Amy Schumer? Well, that movie describes me perfectly. But technically, I'm a rare Idealist, meaning I react to introverted feeling with extroverted intuition. I have taken multiple personality tests and I also score highest with this one. The following list describes me almost perfectly. For a full personality breakdown, Click here. For a list of strengths and weaknesses, Click here.
- Lifestyle I was born in Austin, Texas where I have spent the majority of my life in. I attended a small town high school just outside of the capital city. High school was full of it's ups and downs for an insecure teenage, but my senior year was amazing! I was head drum major of the band and had finally grown out of my acne/baby fat phase. College was a piece of cake because I always knew what I wanted to be. I received my Associate's in Nursing and passed the RN exam on the first try. That being said, I'm a nurse and you have to love people to become a nurse. Though some people can be real assholes... :p
I love almost all kinds of music and enjoy going out to bars and singing karaoke. The drunk white girl you tend to see in bars flirting with everyone...that's me. And I'm unashamed. Margaritas. Enough said.
- Why you're here? Um...I live here? Why am I at this particular bar? Well, I needed a drink to cope with what is happening. Anybody up for some karaoke? Actually, I work as a traveling nurse and currently stationed at a trauma hospital in Chicago...this is where we are starting the rp correct?
- Skills Horseback Riding, Swimming, Shooting guns, drinking tequila, singing, rapping Eminem songs...oh and I know how to do nurse stuff which I'd rather not go into detail on this because it would take....forever...and ever...amen. Ha. Lol Get it?
- Possessions Personal 9mm handgun, my purse full of random crap(wallet that contains DL and credit cards with some cash, breath mints, makeup, hairbrush, toothbrush, birth control, condom...only one, pen, hospital ID, various cheap jewelry, pepper spray, package of skittles candy, mini patron bottle) and a backpack with a spare change of clothes and two pairs of scrubs, clean socks and underwear. I brought the backpack in because I wanted to change out of my work scrubs and into regular clothes
"I am with you in your time of need, helping your heart to heal as I kill you again after you have already died"
- Appearance Ugh, I'm about 5'8 in height and 150 in pounds and I hate being stuck between tall and short. Being average sucks, but I can't help it, genetics hates me. I have black hair and brown eyes so nothing interesting to see here. You can often see me walking around with a jacket or sweater of some sort in any weather. With a simple pair of jeans, so my get-up is simple and easy. I can look decent if I try but that's too hard... and besides nice clothes only deserved to be looked at in admiration
- Physicality Pfft, strength? Stamina? You kidding right...? I have literally 0 athletic ability that I know of to be solid and concrete fact. Playing soccer helped me keep in some sort of shape but that was a few years ago, and now I'm left with rusty running skills. I can sprint decently, but my stamina sucks so bad that it isn't even worth it. I can walk anywhere without complaining if that counts but besides that don't expect me to be much of a help lifting things and similarly. The girls might be able to help you out more than me... Yikes.
Instead of psychical strength I am very flexible, if that counts for anything. I can squeeze myself into places where my size wouldn't normally fit and lift myself up and climb over obstacles easily, which kinda contradicts myself but I somehow do it. Navigating around difficult terrain is one of my favorite things to do, because I like to climb up mountains and I commonly have to move around giant gaps in the rocks and sometimes climb rubble to get from place to place. But these thing i kind of do alone so if anyone else came with me, who knows how they would manage.
- Personality To sum the majority of my personality: Here and Here. I feel like a blend of the two types which I have the most similarities with the two types out of the rest but have an even distribution of traits between the two so I'm stuck in the middle. Honestly, Talk to me and 'try' to find out. I have a very particular and shy personality, which I don't interact with people I don't know. I just smile and tries to make acquaintances and get comfortable with the people I'm around with, which can take forever based on experience. If I like you, then talking to you goes out the window as I'm too shy to actually hold a decent conversation so yeah, social skills -1. If you try hard enough, I can respond with a nice old sentence on a good day but the more self-esteem and confident you are the more I'm gonna be intimidated by you, so yeah. I also believe I have some sort of social anxiety but with everyone dead or as zombies that doesn't worry me anymore.
You may notice that my kind of humor is kinda dark or plain racist but it's all joking, seriously... So hope you guys don't mind. Moving on to more about myself, underneath this mask I wear for strangers and friends, I am quite a talkative and obnoxious person but I haven't been that open with myself after changing school and during an apocalypse this probably won't happen anytime soon either. And recently, from my poor social skills I may have discovered I have a slightly crazy side of me but besides the occasional creepy laugh, I'm fine! Seriously... Don't leave me.
- Lifestyle A teenage boy with little social skills and forced to stay inside his home to take care of his special-needs sister takes quite a toll on a person who doesn't know how to deal with it. Which sums up the story for me, I used to have a few close friends who I now barely talk to and have a handful of friends from school that I casually talk to once every few weeks if I feel up to it. Besides that I am usually found at home, doing nothing but sleeping or watching t.v. That's only a small plight that I have but it consist of most of my life with a few struggles in my own identity but besides that it's all good.
- Why you're here? 'Murica! Land of the free and internet! I was born in the United States on the West Coast before moving to a variety of places and traveled a lot during my summer vacations, so I have seen a lot of the States than most. For this particular trip, I was visiting some relatives until this mess happened and I came into this building cause it was the closest and I didn't want to be the only person outside. Its like a horror movie...
- Skills What happen if I said I was useless? Haha... like that would ever be me... Anyways, I'm good at cooking and multi-tasking if needed. I don't care if you give me a thousand errands to run, as long as its something I can do and I have a roof over my head along with a little me time then give me a bit of time and there done as fast as I can complete them. Besides general task, I have good vision and curiosity that allows me to search for supplies if needed and I have creative ways of getting things if ever out of reach. My vision is also good for spotting zombies if needed, cause I like to watch life move as I sit as a bystander if I can.
Here comes in my quirky personality, I am a person who thinks of the last thing you would think about in a hasty situation. While the rest of the group comes up with an escape plan, I am the one who buying us time by building a barricade of objects from what you see in movies and moving furniture everywhere. Or causing a distraction by throwing crap out the window from upstarts to try and distract them. Sure even I panic at times but I try to buy as much time as I can, mostly for my own selfish survival but its the truth, anything else is a plus.
- Possessions Realistically, I would give myself a gun that "would of found outside" but nope I refuse! In this situation, I would have my wallet and school ID obviously, along with a luggage bag that I haven't ditched yet. Inside that bag I have my clothes and laptop with its electric charger. I have an Android Phone which will be dead sooner or latter, so I better say my good-byes soon and cry. I have a pocket-knife that I have no idea what to do with in a fight.
I'm half Chinese and half Caucasian. 5'3" tall and weight approx 120 lbs. My upper body is thin, but my lower body is more muscled. I usually wear a tank top or t-shirt under a light zip up jacket that's either grey or black. Usually said jacket has holes, though the current one has black acid stains from Chemistry class. I prefer to wear jeans, or jean shorts in hot weather and converse or flip flops depending on the weather as well.
- Physicality: I'm not brutally strong, but since I take taekwondo I'm in fairly good shape. My technique is more effective in bringing force than my muscles. In general, I can push myself to pretty great lengths if I have the motivation. In terms of running, I can either run rather fast in short bursts or slowly for a long time. As compared to others I can run very well on uneven surfaces and can rock climb fairly well due to many fall and summer breaks spent in Colorado. Plus, due to many years of dance, I'm very flexible, but my flexibility is slowly retreating because of my lack of stretching.
- Personality: I'm an INTP who views the big picture when it comes to work and effort. However, if I find something fun and exciting, I tend to gravitate towards it despite the consequences. I have an overall pessimistic view of the world, believing that all problems could be solved with the eradication of the human race. I tend to be a tad violent and rough with my friends, but am polite to strangers. In terms of romance, I'm not the kind of teenager to go around dating, but instead am waiting for the right time and person to bump into me. Plus I'm quite a bit sassy and sarcastic at times and never discriminate when it comes to insulting others, all in good fun, though. Maybe. For the most part. I can also be very forgiving and laid back
- Lifestyle: I was born in Omaha, Nebraska and have lived in the same house my whole life. My mother has a very Asian mind set, creating a lot of pressure for me. Usually I barely need to try when it comes to school work, but ever since high school my grades have been dropping. I'm currently enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program. My HL (higher level) classes are English, Chemistry, and Math while my SL (standard level) classes are History, Spanish, and Biology. My extra classes are Psychology and Choir. I'm still unsure of what I will study in college or the college I will be going to. However, I'm leaning towards the Biochemical area. Perhaps a Biochemical engineer?
- Why you're here?: I live in America, but I'm in Chicago because my parents wanted to go on college visits, and Chicago isn't too far away. Plus my mother likes the China Town in Chicago.
- Skills: I'm a green advanced belt in taekwondo, however my "dojo" (I use this term lightly) also teaches aikido, jujitsu, judo, pressure points, joint locks, and basically most major forms of Martial arts including a bit of weaponry. I can cook fairly well as long as I have a recipe, and I'm also very musically talented. My writing skills are pretty good, and my art skills are decent if given enough time. I'm also a stealth master, after an entire childhood of sneaking around, one learns the tricks of the trade.
- Possessions: Motorola moto GG phone, Doctor Who lanyard with keys, Wallet (Contains ID, recipets, $10 gift card to Starbucks from last Christmas, approx, $50 in cash, and anb old ticket to a basketball game), a black cheap bokken that at least looks pretty, a 3 ft cylindrical wooden pole approx 1 cm in diameter, a blue and silver USB drive, and a large black backpack filled with school supplies, wrappers, some junk food, and a TI-Nspire calculator. Honestly, though, I've been eyeballing some sweet melee weapons such as a double hook sword, a deer horned knife, and a saber claw.
I've read three books on what to do and not do during a zombie apocalypse, including but not limited to, information about the best kind of weapons, how to travel, clothing do's and do not's, etc.
By the way, semiautomatic rifles would be best for a zombie apocalypse, if they keep going until they're completely disabled, or the brains are dead. Automatics encourage unleashing hell, and doing relatively nothing- while handguns require you to be at close range, which is scary and will force you to be even closer because you'll probably miss.
Flamethrowers are crap. They'll keep walking until they have no muscle or they go out.
Acids and stuff are just generally no-no.
Axes, hatchets? Bad idea. Baseball bats, the blunt side of an axe, sledgehammers? Good idea. Swords and blades can get stuck- good old fashioned whackers are less likely to. Something simple would be required, though, easy to clean, easy to carry, easy to keep in fairly good shape.
I'm so much older than y'all. Well, so far the only legal adult and only person old enough to legally consume alcohol in the U.S. who has joined this rp. I'm praying for other adults to join. I don't want to become the mother figure...which is what I would do in a zombie apocalypse surrounded by kids...no offense y'all.
Also, My CS is super rushed due to my over-excitement for this rp. Expect some minor edits later on today or whenever I get around to it.
@Knight of Doom Oh hey, another person who likes science! Coolio! I'm thinking about going into Chemistry as a chemist or if I think I can do it, into Astrology but thats a long shot xD
[Yeah I'll just disappear now, bai] [not sure why i typed this but yeah]
@BubbleGumKing Ah, sweet. I'm pretty much a giant nerd when it comes to biology. Plus, who can go wrong with experiments? Or blowing stuff up? Or dangerous chemicals?
