The world has changed a lot in 300 years, advances in technology have allowed the human race to join the rest of the galaxy, several species such as the Viraxi and the Ginorti have came to work together with humanity to achieve wonders, creating amazing artificial intelligences which are almost indistinguishable from real life and engine technology which is reaching the cutting edge of space-flight. However, after quickly becoming masters of almost everything, humanity became bored with itself as well as everyone else, the galaxy needed something to invest itself in and as soon as the first races began.. people lost their minds to it, as if it were some sort of religion.
Races so violent and ferocious that only those who are crazy enough or with a death-wish compete.
Project Purgatory: a super violent anti-grav racing championship which quickly became the most watched sporting event in the entire galaxy. With an estimated viewing rate of over a billion people from different planets and cultures this fast, action packed combat racing causes the hair on the back of your neck to stand on end! Viewers watch with anticipation to see who becomes victorious.
Media coverage rules the Intranet and the Holo network, screaming "Are you ready for the ultimate season of Project Purgatory! Don't miss the opportunity to watch the ultimate showdown between the two most ferocious women in racing history! The Queens of Armageddon! Who will be victorious? Only time will tell!"
As the entire galaxy look up to the successful contestants as if they are gods, for two girls apparently bloodthirsty for each-others flesh.. There is far more going on than everyone is led to believe.

Personality & Bio: Besides being incredibly ferocious on the track Katya is known to be incredibly intelligent, diplomatic and reserved, she is self centred and incredibly confident in herself, It's true that she has a temper if taken over the edge but in comparison to some of the other racers she is is certainly more likeable than most. This is why she is a fan favourite, she always puts on a good show for her fans and isn't scared to give them what they want to see, even if it isn't a true reflection of her real self. Being able to talk her way out of almost anything Katya is incredibly good with words and finds it easy to play people for her own gain, many believe that this is how she was able to get into racing in the first place.
Given her nickname due to her fiery hair, Katya is one of the racing leagues most notorious and famous racers, currently neck and neck with her female nemesis, forming a fan favourite saying as the "Queens of Armageddon." In-front of the camera she hates her guts, sure, it's all for show, it's what gives her fame, credits and higher ratings but behind all the fake acting she has some different thoughts... Some hidden things deep from her past.
