I'm ScienMalefica, feel free to call me Sci, Scien, Mal, Sir, Nemo, pretty much any name under the sun. So um some things about me, •I will be on twice a week as the very minimum, probably much more than that •I keep my roleplays PG-13, so no explicit sex or excessive description of gore •Most of the plots I have are based off ideas for stories I have that I've spent a ridiculous amount of time building the world for, so if there's anything you're curious about just ask •I'll generally double or even triple up on characters. You don't need to, just something I do I thought you should know in advance. •I'll generally write 2 or 3 paragraphs, if you can write at least one paragraph (4-6 sentences) that'd be great
Now, my roleplay ideas.
Plots
Esper
(Genre: Supernatural, Slice of Life)
Espers. Often included in popular culture and the works of fiction, the world is not at all unfamiliar with the concept of these especially gifted individuals. Little do they know that there's a small town in Colorado where the entire population are in some way or another one of these espers.
Espers are split into classes, describing their abilities. Some espers seem to go beyond the limits of these classes, but the vast majority are limited by their class' ability
Watcher - Watchers possess the supernatural ability to move their point of view to outside their own bodies, able to see around corners and observe their surroundings in a ‘third person view’. The average Watcher’s range of ‘sight’ varies from 5-10 metres. Watchers tend to genetically have a passive disposition.
Caster - Casters are able to create illusions from their imagination, as long as they can see the location they are projecting the illusion. Blinking also causes the illusion to flicker, so it is quite difficult for them to create convincing illusions.
Piercer - Piercers are attuned to the darker sides of people, when they make direct eye contact with a person they know instinctively their deepest fears and darkest secrets. Many wear glasses to stop themselves from constantly being flooded with fear and secrets.
Shifter - Shifters have the ability to shove things with their mind although none have been able to pick something up, they can give rough shoves of large levels of pure mental force towards their targets, living or no.
Listener - Listeners have the ability to hear the thoughts of a person they are in physical contact with, but cannot transmit thoughts to the person. They cannot find all the secrets of a mind, just the words and images on the surface of the mind.
Lifter - Lifters have the ability to pick up, throw, swing and manipulate objects as long as they have the physical strength to lift them and can see what they are lifting. Lifters seem to only be able to move things within their reach and generally only one or two things at a time, although arm amputees have been shown to still be able to lift things so the condition of the arms seem not to have an impact.
Quotient
(Genre: Dystopian Fiction, Sci-Fi)
There have been many theories on what an ideal government would look like. One suggestion a dictatorship in a council of the people with the highest level of intelligence. Induciae is an example of this government, the citizens controlled depending on their results of neurological tests, in everything from Problem Solving to Morality. But there are some who are against the form of government in place and the dark rumours about what happens to those that get less than 10% on their tests
Quotients are scored out of 100 each, for a total of 1000 being the maximum possible score.
Problem Solving Quotient - Ability to detect patterns and logically figure out how to correct problems Social Quotient - Ability to fit into society, from small talk to Emotional Stability Quotient - Quite self explanatory Loyalty Quotient - Level of agreeableness to social norms and decisions made by ruling parties Decision Making Quotient - Ability to make decisions under pressure and still Persuasive Quotient - The one test that isn't taken with a neurological scan, tested on how well the testee can convince the tester they deserve to get a high quotient Honesty Quotient - Likelihood of telling the truth in situations where it would be disadvantageous to Moral Quotient - Moral compass alignment with current government's opinions on right and wrong Will Quotient - Diligence, level of pure willpower in the individual Creativity Quotient - Ability to create and invent new ideas
