John leads EVERYONE ((this means everyone in the RP)) to a room with a veritable variety of chest all of them marked with different symbols each one represents what inside the chest, the walls are practically covered with weapons on the East side of the room there is a giant door John stands in front of it,"Alright so there will be three things that you'll do First thing fighting a monster by yourself, second fighting a monster in pairs, and lastly fighting a monster with a large group. The monsters will get stronger as we go through the trial I guess you would call it. So be careful. I'll be here whenever you're ready."

Hue until now had just been observing in the back. She was actually pretty amused about the whole thing. I mean me, being super tiny and having no motivation...slaying monsters. That's great. Hue also found the name "Thunder Dome!" hilarious. She kept giggling quietly in the back. She liked John. He seemed pretty laid back. She wasn't quite sure how she'd work with this group. In her opinion, people need to chill out. Sure it would probably be a task, but hey, they said they wouldn't let them die. And that was good enough for Hue. In her normally dead-pan voicee she said "Sounds just nifty broham."

This sounded unfair according to what he had heard from his fellows but a moment ago. There was one who had called herself a pacifist and a healer. Now, Solomon was unsure what exactly pacifist meant in this instance, and he was unsure if conscientious objection extended to monsters, but what he did know was that he was going to defend the beliefs of his peer. In a moment they would all be battle-brothers, closer even than family, forged together by the bond that only battle can forge.

"Sir, the pacifist," Solomon said. "She cannot battle alone."

Upon entering the room filled to bursting with weapons and equipment Fenris started looking around. Some of the weapons he had never seen before, but he could tell they were all deadly in their own way. He took a mental snapshot of a few to reference for his ice magic later. One could never have too many resources when it came to spellcasting.

After his quick look around Fenris turned his attention to John who was standing by a door. He listened intently as the vice-principal detailed what they were going to be doing. First fighting alone, that would be better for Fenris as he preferred to be alone. Other's either got in his way or caused more problems for him. Then a thought snapped into his head. "Ummm, John? There's not going to be a large crowd this time for the tests is there?" Fenris asked. If there was no one watching then he could change form without worrying about anyone watching.

@ZB1996"Ah, but you see thats where your wrong, I said battle alone but I also said you won't be allowed to die. So if I deem it necessary you will get a robotic helper." A giant floating screen appears and on it and FM's torso appears on the screen."Hello transfers as you all know my name is FM. So who said that the pacifist couldn't fight?"

John looks straight at Hue it had been a long time since John knew a student as chill as her. He turns to face Fenris,"Nah there shouldn't be."

Fenris let out a audible sigh of relief. At least for the first round he'd be able to go at it the way he wanted. The other two rounds he wasn't so sure, but he'd worry about that once it came. No use worrying about something now when he had something else in front of him.

On a side thought he noticed the small room was getting kinda warm with everyone crammed inside of it. Fenris hated the heat, luckily for him though he was a walking air conditioner. "Oh, I hope no one minds, but it's kinda stuffy in here so I'm just gonna chill out," he said to no one in particular. Right before releasing a bit of magic into the room, causing the air to cool down to a comfortable level. For him at least, some of the others might find it a little cold.

Hearing out Avalon as she was explaining about her parents and the recipe and wanting to change the subject, Imarir gave her a pat on the shoulder to let her know that things will be alright. Being one of more experienced students, Imarir had the privilege to sorta look out for the newer students.

When John had them walk into the room with weaponry and explained how the test would go, which was something Imarir already knew the rules to, he silently waited to the side. He didn't mind being in any round but when it comes a time to do the tag team test, Imarir was looking to either team with Avalon or Fenris. He thought of Avalon to see what her capabilities were and to show her that she could still be useful and he thought of Fenris for the fact that watching an ice mage work, would be awesome to witness.

From what Febris just asked, Imarir shrugged Go ahead my friend, I can only speak for myself to say that it will not bother me none... he retorts with a smile. Imarir thought also that there was no need in him choosing a weapon from the wall since he could just summon his own.

Solomon knew he could not trust this hunk of metal to protect his battle-sister. FM said he would not let any of them die, but he could not believe the words of one so silly.

"You mentioned weapons?" Solomon said.

Solomon had not had sufficient experience to call himself a warrior, but he hoped he would be able to defeat the monsters with sword and sorcery, no matter the limit to which Solomon had mastery over them.

@Aisling@ZB1996"Yes Solomon there are weapons, and if you would look at the walls you would see them. And Avalon why not use that shield over there it has straps on the back that can hold your 'items'." FM from behind the screen points at a large shield with a cross on it,"And don't worry about the weight it's rather light but very durable."

Solomon found both a sword and a spear, of which he had some skill in their art. He grabbed both of them, and put the sword at his side and the sword in his right hand.

"So who is going first?" He pulls a dagger from behind his back shaking slightly at the thought of actually fighting himself and not having someone fight for him. He stares at the others picking weapons to fight a monster that they don't even know about hoping this was all a joke and they will jump up and say. "Just kidding we aren't going to fight anything it was all a big prank." He sat down waiting for the end.

Watching the others choosing their weapons, Imarir couldn't help but think about the first time he took the test when his class was around. Imarir did not want to be an overkill but for the singles match up, he was going to use his usual weapon as he pointed his palm forward and from the ground, a red light shined and coming from the red light, which looked like a seal, came a golden bo staff. It was slowly emerging from the ground up. Imarir stood and pulled the staff from it's summoning seal as he rested his weapon on his shoulder, showing he was read for battle.

Looking at all the weapons around him, Mark found himself wondering if this was really necessary. He did not have any combat experience, so he ruled out most of the weapons. Instead, he looked for items he could use to create runes with. After some searching he managed to find a tool belt with an assorted hammers and chisels. These would enable him to physically carve out runes, making them much more powerful. He also found a sturdy looking knife, which he could use to carve. He hoped he would have enough time to do so. To buy him some more time, he picked up a sturdy looking wooden shield and started to carve out several runes on it.

"I'm a senior. Thanks for the offer, but I don't smoke. It would put a damper on my bombastic demeanor." Hue said in her usual monotone voice. She walked over and picked up a set of throwing knives. "So obviously we're fighting, but what qualifies a win? Are we aiming to kill, or knockout?" Hue tossed one around a bit with her hand, it was fairly light, so it suited her pretty well. She had always had fairly good aim.

Fenris looked up at John as he said his name. So he the others were going to be watching him? Well now he won't change into his wolf form. At least if the monster isn't so hard where he won't have to. He doubted it would, still it would have been nice to be able to use all his tricks without having people watch. Fenris just felt naked in his wolf form if people were watching him change.

"Yea, sure. What am I fighting?" Fenris asked as he stepped up in front of John. He already had his magic ready to use and the air around him was cold. The kind of cold that makes your nose hairs freeze when you inhale.

@Demon Grave"You will be fighting...... a giant rat." John opens the door to the arena. Outside is bright, almost blinding straight in front of them is a giant gate."Go on out there. Everyone else look to the screen." He points to the screen that FM had created, but instead of seeing FM they would see an ariel view of the Thunder Dome.

Solomon was the first to rush out. He went out in a hurry, almost with eagerness. With a shield strapped to his back, a spear in his right hand, a sword in his left, he went out into the bright light. He waited for this giant rat to go and attack him, and he would be ready.
