Chiuq

Gerti
The northmost continent, Gerti is a heavily forested landmass. Gerti has harsh winters and warm summers, as such it is home to some of the hardiest species on the planet. The dominant race on Gerti, however, are the Ceomsuri, who are relatively frail compared to the other species who live upon it.

Erven
Erven is an island off the northeast of Gerti, uninhabited by the Ceomsuri, it is thought to be inhabited by elves, mystical and powerful creatures who are thought to have created Chiuq.

Slahas
Slahas is the easternmost continent. Slahas has multiple biomes, with most of them being too extreme for creatures to survive, however, the center of the continent is relatively mild all year round, and "The Hook" to the northeast is similar in biome to Gerti. This continent is home to multiple intelligent species, chief among them Drakanin and Humans. In the most recent war to shake the continent, the Drakanin kingdoms of the west were decimated by the human central kingdom known as Breybia, leaving the future of the race unknown. The human kingdom of the hook is wary of outsiders and has a policy of isolationism to the rest of the continent. To the southeast live the Slahasian Woodspeople, who are considered backwards by every other kingdom, especially the island Woodswomen.

Southwestern Islands

Rweiss
Rwiess is a chain of islands to the south of Gerti, it is home to rainforests and spectacular volcanoes. Rwiess is under the control of the Rweissian kingdom, made up of Woodswomen. The kingdom is incredibly technologically savvy, creating devices to aid magic users and weapons in their own right.

Swath
Swath is a small horseshoe shaped island to the west of Rwiess. Swath is a desert, all of it, no part of the island receives more than four inches of rain a year at most, as such there is little flora, and what fauna there is, is hardy to the extreme. Swath is dominated by the Lacaretay species, who live in caves to avoid the sweltering heat.

Species

On the subject of hybrids

Hybrids of the races are known for their unparalleled connection to the primal force of magic, creating some of the most powerful people on the planet, however, these hybrids are often sterile, or have horrible deformities, leaving them less powerful. Those who are powerful and yet still able to function are celebrated, with the most powerful of these living in Rweiss, as the "Halfling Council". Serving as peacemakers and diplomats.

Bad tidings

Recently, a human-like man has appeared from the frozen north past the hook, with him he brings a group of Drakanin, or what used to be Drakanin, corrupted and turned into demons by the man's dark magic, it is unknown who he is, but the only people able to stop him are those who travel to all of the continents and collect the royal families treasures, only then, can this man be defeated.

((Whew, that took a bit, I'll lay down the rules in the actual RP if it gets to that, but for now, I'll answer any questions you have.))

Your interest check and basis seem pretty promising, they certainly caught my eye. I'm pretty sure that'll help you get a sizable group ^^.

Only if your willing to RP with someone who's so rusty at roleplay he gives himself tetanus.

That someone is me...

@Belladona You don't need to do that yet, see if anyone else wants in first, then when I post the actual RP think something up, That's how I do it at least.

Normally a character sheet skeleton will be laid out by the host of the RP, then you can create and flesh out your character as much as you desire within those proximities.

@Belladona I wouldn't know, I've always wanted to get into D&D, but it's soooo complicated, I'd rather RP, it's easier.

Well, you don't have to, your GM after all. I was just saying most people do have CS's for their roleplays. They're not a necessity, though.

@GodOfWar It sounds like it works a little bit like DnD.

Somewhat, yes. Most Roleplays follow that structure of character fundamentals, but then lose the dice and complicated stats to just make a interpersonal narrative.

The hardest part of DnD is finding a good DM thats willing to help their players through making their character sheet after that its easy but alot of die rolls and some math.

Just wanted to add a bit of fluff, Lacaretay names are quick and sharp, Klang, Yurk, Rek, and Kort are some examples, and they don't have last names, instead identifying by naming their father. Like "Klang, son of Smark" Ceomsuri names are flowing and long. Like Errylion, Arrysth, Ponagarth, and Smeltstang. Woodspeople names are benign and common, Bob, Steve, Bill, the works. In this universe, Humans are arrogant buggers, so make their names sound like titles. "Groundbreaker the brave" "Mountainmover the Magnificent" Etc.
