As assumed by my username, I'm a pretty big fan of mythology. Not just Greek mythology, either - Slavic, Chinese, Shinto, Mayan, Egyptian, Norse ... I'm pretty much game for them all. Yeah, Greek has a special place in my heart but I've got a lot of love to give.

As for this roleplay, however, it would be following some sort of 'good golly, the world appears to be ending and it looks like despite how much we dislike each other, we might need to work together to save it because we our existence relies on the humans that worship us'. I mean, it's really easy for something like this to become wacky and comical, but I was kind of hoping for a serious, fleshed out RP that focused on the Gods, their relationships with each other - their history with each other, how to set their differences aside and work together. And I mean, some of these myths are pretty raw and bitter, so there would be a lot of bad blood between some. And I'd especially like to see, say, two Gods from different pantheons that are basically the Gods of the same things in a vehement rivalry, bitter and petty and jealous and lots of emotions and excuse you, Zeus, but I am Odin, I call the shots here, this is my realm, go back to Mount Olympus and Nu Wa, terribly offended (I created these humans, they are my children! Your titles are just for show. I am their mother).

The thing is, this entire idea needs a whole lot more fleshing out, and I can't possibly do it all by myself, especially oversee the actual roleplay when - if - it happens, so I was hoping to find one or two co-admins that are interested and willing enough to lend a kind hand and hours of their time. So. Any takers for a co-admin (or just anyone interested in general)?

That said, my two co-admins will probably take on a more dominant role than me. I am up to my eyes in shit and credit hours.

Sup Aphrodite, I don't share the same amount of passion as you in mythology but I would sure as hell give a try- In this story I suppose that humans have started to forget about the gods and in this hula advanced technology era where they can supposedly ride on space pods and fly? It would interesting to see a more long term conflict like technology vs mythology. I volunteer to be Hades :D

Oh yeah, I'm a huge mythology nerd myself, and I'd love to take part in this. How would we do the whole Roman/Greek thing? And I feel like minor gods would definitely have to deal with getting pushed aside by more major ones, since how much power they have would be based on how many people believed in them? Caught between Heimdallr and Anubis...

Oh, how I would have loved to be part of something like this, but sadly, I don't have the time to post as often as a Casual roleplay tends to demand.

I'm a huge fan of mythology, though. Especially the Norse, being a Dane myself ;) My daughter is actually called Freja after the Norse Goddess of Love/Fertility/Beauty/and-so-on and plan on naming my future children after Norse Gods/Goddesses, also. I'm thinking Thor and/or Balder for a boy and Idun and/or Sif for a girl (though I wouldn't have a Thor and a Sif both, since they'd get teased 'bout being a couple). I plan on having four kids and if I have it my way (which I probably won't) it'll be two girls and two boys and in that case they will be called Freja, Thor, Idun and Balder :D But that's just me rambling.

If you can live with a post a week (two, if I'm "lucky"), I will try my best to be a part of this, though.
In that case, I'd probably play a lesser God/Goddess, like Nyx of the Greek Mythology, or some actually quite famous deity that just has a bit of a messy history like... Tyr of the Norse Mythology, perhaps.

@Candibarr I did take a glance at your roleplay, as suggested, but - while it's nice - it's not exactly what I'm looking for. If anyone else that came here is more interested in yours, that's great! I'm just not one of them.

Considering my schedule, I won't be able to post that much either. In fact, I may bump this up to Advanced just because I want quality over quantity and, to be honest, I can't give as much quantity as I can quality right now.

Like I said, though, I'm going to need one or two co-admins to help me flesh things out and I'd like to see if there's a bit more interest before I try anything.

Edit:: I'm going to post an interest check in advanced, as well, just to be thorough.

@Aphrodite Awesome. I'd be far more comfortable with an Advanced setting than a Casual one.
Also, I wouldn't mind taking on the "challenge" of being a Co-GM (or Co-admin, whatever you wanna call it) and in regards of maintaining the roleplay, reviewing character sheets and such, I would probably have about an hour a day for such and then write my posts on weekends -because I am unable to write it in pieces; it needs to be done in one sitting.
I have GM'ed quite a bit in my 10+ years of roleplaying, so I know how :)

For fleshing out the whole deal... I'm not usually on at this time. It's actually nearly 4 AM here and I'm tired as sh*t. So I don't know how much dialogue will be possible and it might take a while for us to work everything out if we're in different time zones.

I can do the idea! o/ with the background story and anything as long as you are satisfied with it- my English ain't that good so I'm kinda nervous that you're moving it to the advanced section but why not?

This looks to be just the thing to get me back into the swing of things! Nothing like a new RP idea to shake you of your writer's block! I'm in, for sure. :)
