“Is that so? I see…” She hid her bemusement behind a straight face. It appeared that the trainee slayer really felt that he was ready to become a fully fledged Dragonslayer, if he thought he could injure or even kill one of the Sodality Slayers. “Good, I’ll meet you there.” She said, only sighing when he bowed to her. She hoped that Orren’s whole ‘Little master’ thing wasn’t rubbing off on the younger guild members.

Feeling that she was no longer hungry, Evelyn decided to forgo breakfast and instead head for the training ground to set up. On her way out of the Mess Hall, Evelyn spotted one of the few female slayers and headed over to her. “Freya, a good morning to you. Oh dear, your hair. Trouble out in the field I take it? It’s a shame, you hair is so very lovely. Though I suppose it is more practical at this length. Anyway, I am on my way to test out a slayer trainee. I suppose that I will see you around. I wish you a pleasant day.” Giving a wave, Evelyn quickly moved out of the hall and was soon at the training ground which was by the entrance of the Sodality after having stopped by her room and the Guilds Armoury to collect her weapons and various practice ones.

The Western training ground was smaller than the others and was mostly dirt surrounded by small rocks, marking the boundary. She placed the equipment next to the boundary and looked over to the gate of the Sodality where she spotted two forms.

“Happy hunting Orren and Frederik and a good morning to you!” She called out to the two men who were just about to head out and gave them a wave before focusing back on her task of setting up a training dummy. Dragging a wooden pole into the centre, she secured it in place standing vertically and quickly attached a hay dummy to it.

The boy nodded and smiled. He finished talking with the girl he had become acquainted with, giving her a farewell as it seemed she had her own plans. Momaru went and grabbed his bag of gear. 'You sure you are up to this?' a voice echoed through his head.
"Yeah... we can do this... we can handle a matchup like this..." he mumbled to himself.

Heading outside, he had his bag of armor tied to his sword and its sheath. showing up a few minutes after Evelyn, he gave her a wave and a smile. "Hey." Momaru said and set down his gear on the edge of the arena. she could tell he definitely came from dragon slaying lineage to have a sword that quality, not to mention the little bits of armor she could see poking the bag. "So what's up first?" he asked him.

Ata was in bed, fully dressed to go outside for the day's work.

And yet, not once in the past two hours he had been awake, had he considered the option to do so. After he had brushed himself clean, after he had eaten his fill of plain bread well before anyone had even started eating, and even after he had tightened the belt around his waist, he had to return to the confines of the white mattress.

And for what reason?

Today, he could see through his eyelids. Again. Vital points became more than vital points, and even though he had shut his eyes away from the world, he could see the life of everyone and everything coursing in innumerable rivulets. Even the little blood vessels shone like candles only inches away from his face, and if he dared to open his eyes, he would be met by a dazzling array of gleans, sparkles, and shines that came from everyone and everything.

In this quiet panic, he had fallen into unconsciousness, and woke up to hear the sodality bustling and about.

It was time to get work done; his eyesight had now fared better, so there was little time to waste. From the windows, he could see two of the Sodality preparing for training...

...wait, was that Ms. D'Orion?!
