A cold wind brushed over Vulcarions shoulders as he stepped outside the hall. The hall stood tall on steps leading from the Kings square white cobblestone built up the great hall. Merchants yelling for sales and the distant laughter of children reminded Vulc of his childhood, playing with his sister in the streets, they would play city guard or kick a ball down the roads along Towns Square. Vulcarion smiled at the thought of his childhood, what a wondrous time of excitement and mystery. He looked off to the mountain's snowy peaks that were just off north of the Drovia walls. He could hear the soft wind busheling the tips of the mountains, brushing the snow and swaying the trees. "Never as a child would have known what this world was." He whispered to himself, clenching his jaw.

He made his way quickly down the steps into the pass between the Kings Square and Merchant Square. He glanced up to the kings hall and his eyes wondered as an eagle flew by. His eyes wondered down to a stand just outside the pass as you head into Merchant Square. Breakfast... he thought as he approached the fruit stand, owned by a nice old man that Vulcarion could never catch his name, though seeing him every day, leaving the hall. The wooden stand had fresh apples and berries for sale. He approached the man, smiled and handed him coin for his meal.

A strange portal would open in the middle of the path, where a figure would fall through it face planting on the ground. A bag is thrown threw behind him then the portal closes, he groans sitting up rubbing his head. Checking he has his satchel then looks at the bag of food grabbing it. "..well looks like they decided to not give me time to say anything..." he groaned rubbing his head "..that was exhausting.... third time ever making one of those.." he'd pull out some paper from his satchel "....Lets see.. arrive in Drovia.. and the rest is smudged.. well this is probably what happens when you live in the mud for a little while" he sighs rubbing his forehead "..Here i am suppose to join something... and i don't even know how to find it.." Kael would shake his head "now what.." he tells himself as he turns his head looking around, his tail swinging side to side.

Azairus was currently in the guild headquarters. He had just woken up from a short nap. The plans for the day get something to eat, clean his armor and weapons, train, then anything else he thought might be important to do. After making sure he was properly dressed he made his way to a local tavern for some hunters stew and some ale. Walking out of the building he shielded his eyes for a moment to let them adjust. Once adjusted he started to make his way to the tavern.

It wasn't a long walk to the nearest tavern. Once inside he saw that there was already a good sized crowd there. Sitting at one of the corner tables he ordered some honey ale, and hunter's stew along with half a loaf of bread. He sat there for a good while eating and making small talk with a few other patrons. After finishing his meal. He paid for the food and gave a little extra. After leaving the tavern he made his way back to the guild. Once back at the guild he made his way to where his armor and weapons were and started to clean them.

Alexander woke up later than usual that day this usually meant that he was grumpy despite that he stood up quickly got dressed had breakfast and left his house. When he past the town square he exited the city he had walked a fair bit on his way to a near by Forrest when he noticed a what appeared to be an abnormal with a reptilian like tail while and seeing an abnormal was uncommon it was nothing groundbreaking, he was about to take another step he remembered he had forgotten his poleaxe. Alexander looked around "dammit" he thinks to himself as he begins to walk back to the city there was "no point now" he thought to himself as he began walking back to the city.

Vulcarion saw the portal open down the ways from him, he stared as someone fell out of it. He bit into his Apple and walked over helping the man up. He watched him look around and rub his head. "Lost?" He asked him curious to why an Abnormal would be in the towns without political reason. Abnormal tend to stay outside the gates unless are called apon or need something from the king. He watches him closely.

Kael looked at Vulcarion accepting his help and knocks some dust of himself "you could say that" he says to him "...was invited here to join something... but the paper with directions..." he says with a groan and show Vulcarion how most of it is now unreadable. he would look around again "..so many people.." he says softly. his never been around so many other people, at most maybe one or two but a cities' worth is another story. He returned his gaze onto Vulcarion as he stretched some, his little wings and tail stretching out "Dang my body is stiff.." he says "I guess that's the side affect of portals.." he says.

Cecelia finally makes her way though the huge town, which was much more sophisticated than the elven forest she'd been used to. Keeping a hand on one of her daggers at all times, Cecelia slinks through shadows and out-of-the-way areas as much as she can. The huge crowds at the market made her nervous. Finally making it to the Guild her tribe had sent her to, Cecelia opened the doors and stiffened. There were just as many people, of many different kinds, inside the guild also. Frozen at the door, Cecelia finally made herself move towards the crowd of people at this Guild.

"Join something?" Vulc's mind ran to Ash saying how they would have new members joining today but he had never seen a Abnormal come to join. He had heard of the possibility of two elves joining, but not them. The very thought was so odd seeing how they were to be considered monsters themselves. Vulc being an understanding man pushed the thought away. He nodded to yhe Hunters all that stood tall above Mechant Square. "Are you hear to join he hunters?" He asked. He excepted that this may be true for the always needed new hunters, but he thought that Alexander may not be fond of the idea of Abnormal companionship.

Azarius was in his room cleaning his armor going over each and every piece. He had to make sure each piece was up to his standards and rust free and had no damage. So far every piece was good. After a good hour he saw that every piece was good and cleaned. As he placed the armor back on its stand. he turned towards the sword. For most people this would be a two handed sword but for him with his large frame and being taller than most humans it was easily a one handed sword. Guess it made sense that the tallest human was also one of their best tanks. Sitting back down on his chair. He grabbed his sword and a whetstone and started sharpening his blade.

Kael would nod quickly "that's it! there was something about one of the nomad leaders getting angry hearing about this group.. and very much insisted to, I believe it was the king, that they are to have one of us in it. In order to assess the situations and make sure no beast of the wild is needlessly killed when it could be saved without causing any other causalities" he states. Abnormals may be few in numbers but their still a force to be reckoned with, for they could cause a monster attack if they was outraged enough. A huge monster attack, unlike some random attack. Kael would rub back of his head "..and then i received a letter telling me I should come here.. Guess someone though that one was to be me" he says "Not to sure why they choose me, I'm just some novice learning magic" he tells Vulcarion. "then again the letter did say.. in exchanged for my services I could have assistance in improving my skills." he states and shrugs.

Zymeni crested the hill and stared at the Capital. His horse nickered, stomping its hooves in the mud. Zy had named the stolen horse Vioarr, after his mothers god. As the he calmed his horse Zy glanced over his shoulder. It was a habitual action, one he did all the time. Shaking his head he carried on towards the Capital, one hand on the reins and the other on the hilt of his whip.

A woodsman heading into the forest turned and noticed the figure riding off over the hill. He frowned, not many riders took the forest road. Most would go onto the main road if they wanted to go to the capital. But he considered the travellers outfit, shabby and worn. But with the swords strapped to his back he assumed that the man didn’t want to be noticed. The hunter shrugged and carried on sorting his arrows. He was curious but it was a common enough thing for a rider to be armed and go along the forest road. The only thing that made him feel uneasy was the youth of the rider.

Zy rode on oblivious to the hunters thoughts and musings. As his sharp eyes settled on the turnoff for the main road he pushed his horse to a gallop. Vioarr thundered along the path and joined the main road, cobblestone making his hooves echo loudly in the morning mist. Not many people were on the road and all were walking or pulling carts. Zy felt out of place riding among the walkers but he wanted to reach the city quickly. The gates slowly appeared out of the mist, metal braziers kept soldiers warm as they checked each person entering. As Zy reined his horse by the gates the three soldiers swarmed around him. After a brief conversation they allowed Zymeni to enter the city as long as he didn’t disturb the peace.

Zy rode into the city market. The hustle and bustle was strange to Zy as he stared at the people from atop of his horse. From atop his horse he notice two people talking, standing still unlike the crowds swarming around them. He dismounted and walked his horse to the two of them. “Excuse me, I was wondering if you could help me?”

Vulcarion broke his contact with Kael. "aye? and you are?" he asked the elf who had wondered apon them. Before he could answer he turned back to Kael. "The guild hall is just through the pass straight ahead" he pointed ahead of them "Then up the steps. I am sure Master Ash will be waiting for you" He turned back to the elf and studied him quickly. "How may I help you good sir? An elf riding in at this time of day is not common. Am I wrong to assume you are here on request of the King?" Vulc looked at the Abnormal. "Or perhaps the guild?" He asked.

Kael looked to the elf who spoke to them then back to Vulcarion when he turned his attention back to him. he nods "Thank you for the information" he says then watches as he speaks to the elf again. then raises an eyebrow when Vulcarion looks at Kael mentioning the guild. then he simply shrugs with a grin his tail flicking around "well I better hurry then, hopefully not keep them waiting much longer" he says with a chuckle and flaps his wings, even though they are small he seems to hover slightly. "Guess I'll see you around" he says to Vulcarion and then starts heading off in the direction he was told, taking the pass and soon heading up the stairs to the guild, which he would knock slightly before he would enter.

The elf looked at the two of them before the Abnormal left. He stared slightly in wonder as the only other Abnormal he had ever seen was in a travelling merchant group that passed through his village many years ago. He shook his head and refocused on the man who stayed. "The king? No, I'm not here for him. Nor am I here for this 'guild'. I merely seek a job where my skills can be of use. Do you know of such a place in this city, where a man can work."

Vulc raised his brows. "I guess it depends on what skills a man shall hold?" Vulcarion looked around and held one arm out around him. "The city is full of possibilities. You look like a man of combat? maybe try a mercenary job." Vulcarion studied his ears. The Guards would never expect an Elf.. He thought. "Possibly your good with tools?" Vulcarion chuckled. "Drovia is full of ambition my friend. Lay your mind in where your heart beats." Vulcarion smiled and nodded, resuming eating his apple.

Alexander walked through the merchant area looking for food to eat later he could go to his mothers house but he didn't want to impose, looking around he also thought that he should get a job in stead of hunting near by animals and selling their pelts. He thought about joining the hunters guild but he wasn't sure he didn't want his mother to worry to much...Still who said he had to tell her with this in mind he bought some apples and meat and made his way home it was rather small but neat. He quickly collected his weapon and made his way to the hunters guild.

Acting a lot cooler and calmer than she felt, Cecelia slid into a dark corner and observed the guild hall and all its goings on. Watching all the action from afar would help her assess the situation better than trying to chat up someone who could possibly be some other newcomer. Watching the chaos might bring some pattern into view.

Vulcarion walked back up to the guild entrance and opened the big doors to the sounds of talking, cups and moving of stools around on the wood floor. He looked around glancing across the hall at everyone who was there. He went directly for Ash's office. He opened the door. "Sir" He stated as he entered. Ash looked up from his writing. "I.. I wasn't expecting such an outcome for recruitment day" He said rather astonished at the amount of people in the hall. "Yes.. yes, it is nice many faces would like to wear the guilds crest" He said through a smile. "Sir. Did you know there to be an Abnormal that is joining?" Vulc said looking up, Vulcarion was a kind man, no where near a racist, he believed anyone and everyone had the right to bare arms and fight for what they believe in, but a Abnormal who was considered monsters themselves joining the guild was odd, very very odd. "Aye, I did. He was sent here" Ash said through another smile, a smile he seemed to always wear. Vulcarion nodded "Good day sir" and made his way out of the room.
Coming out into the main hall he watched as people from all over talked and laughed. The sad thought of these faces not being seen for long because they must be tested before becoming a hunter. He pushed the thought away. Time for a drink I guess he thought, he ordered his favorite ale and made his way over to the corner where he saw an Elf sitting alone. "May I take this spot?" Vulc asked gesturing at the empty chair that lay at the other side of the table.

Kael watched the many people doing merry making and shook his head sticking far away as he can from everyone. He wasn't here to get to know anyone. he would groan with a sigh "..I just hope this gets all done with.." he says to himself rubbing his forehead, and then opened his satchel and pulled out his book. He opened it and continue on his process to decipher it. Once he learned a word he could read, but the book was set up in such a way.. you had to discover everything in order to understand a single page... then you had to repeat the process for another page, almost like a safety measure. He whispered to himself as he studied, wanting to increases his abilities, both in verity and in personal hopes.
