I've been looking for pictures for my characters, but one thing always gets me, copyright. I'm just wondering, where does everyone get their pictures from? Could you please share a source?

It's called writing out a description for the character.

Or if you *must* then you go on the patient hunt for someone who will do a free request for you on dA or Tumblr, or saving up to pay for a commission.

I wouldn't be too concerned about most of it unless you use photos that have to be paid for.

When it comes down to the nitty gritty we are a bunch of friends and people online who are gathering together to write up a group roleplay. We aren't making money off this and most of the time people use images as a reference for their character so others can get a visual idea of what it is that the writer is thinking of.

Coming from the GFX signature area, I can also say that if people can get away with the amount of images they steal, re-photoshop, upload, and call their own creation, I'm pretty sure simply referencing an image is something minor.

As for sources? Google Images, Photobucket, and even Tumblr will have some stuff.

@jordy0403 Google Images, Bing Images or even deviant art (its not art theft if you don't claim to be original artist)
