Gwen sits up. Her head pounding and her kingdom coming down around her. Voices of her troops and enemy's yelling all around her.
"This cannot be." She thought to herself. "Our kingdom was finally coming back together from when the previous king passed on and sent his ruling down to his son. My future husband. We were to marry in a couple days, but now my kingdom is in shambles and my husband is nowhere to be found.

Gwen is sitting in the kings great hall when the room all of a sudden grows silent. She uncovers her ears and looks around the room, hoping her guards are still on the other side of the door.

The guards were certainly there. That could be discerned by their angry, muffled voices. They seemed to be yelling at someone. The door handle slowly turned, and... with a sharp crack of splintering wood, the door was pulled outwards. That wasn't the way it was supposed to be opened. Several of the castle defenders stood glaring about in a circle, in the midst of which was a huge, semi-naked man holding the broken door.

"Hruh... Not bathroom this be!!"

"Oi told ye' that twice, ye' stenchy idiot! Git outa there!"

"That be the Lady's quarters! Put that door back!"

"Who the 'ell even are you!?"

With a heaving shrug, the hulking barbarian haphazardly placed the door back into place, presumably intending to carry on with his quest to find a place to make poopy. Out in the hall, dead and unconscious enemy soldiers lay strewn about in all sorts of amusing and impropable positions. Thrust through expensive paintings, draped across tables and chairs, piled in corners... some even hung by the ceiling, their heads having been rammed through the upper floor. Yes, the inside of the castle was safe now, but sweet momma, the repairs were going to be killer. At least the bad guys would have had some semblance of respect for the priceless antiques.

Gwen was astounded at the large crack that sounded throughout the main hall. The door was officially broken. She covered her face waiting for a blow from this ginormous man. She didn't know if he was one of her husbands guards or an enemy.
She watched as the man made some words to one of my men. He walked back to the now large opening to the great hall and placed or kind of placed the door back in its place.
Gwen sighed a relief.
"Who was that man? And where was his clothes!?"
The guards mentioned he was a man from another land allying with her king for the sake of his tribe.
The queen stood there silently looking at the misshapened door.

It was two days later and the castle was officially starting to look like home again. The king was found a day after the battle bleeding in the courtyard.

Gwen started to wonder the halls while her husband was recovering. She's been by his bedside nonstop. She needed some fresh air.
The palace had gotten its normal shine back. Everyone was walking around acting like nothing happened. The courtyard was full of hapoy faces saying hello. Gwen found herself on a bench later to take in the sunshine.
