K, soooo.... for the bonding scene does it needs to take place in the wilderness or a non-urban setting?

*shrugs* its Nem's NPC, so shell have to buy it. Go for it though :)

It can be pretty much anywhere, as long as the animal could feasibly reach you. So 50 storey buildings are out, as are moving vehicles ;)

You guys wanna see something nuts? Click it. I had the pleasure of being a part of this. I'm fine, the car is mostly fine, and everyone else is mostly fine, no one got seriously hurt but a few went to the hospital. But yeah, if I wasn't ready for winter to be over then goddammit I am now. This is in Michigan, by the way, for those wondering.

But Tuesday sounds great, was actually planning to finish my post and get it up after I get back from my class tomorrow around 4 EST, unless I can actually get my butt out of bed for once, in which case it'll be up earlier :).

Yikes! That's a nasty pile-up! I'm glad to hear you're ok, and that your car is mostly ok. I don't know what car insurance is like in the states, but if it's anything like the PITA is it up here then i do not envy you the next few months of fighting with them :(

I'm fine with judicious use of cursing. For example, if you see someone get hit by a car "Oh, goodness gracious!" Is likely NOT what first pops into your head, lol.

I'm for gritty realism...with a healthy dose of magic ;)

Aye. I know people who cuss with every second word, I know people who never swear. I'm fairly liberal with my cussing, but it isn't every other word. Course....whenever someone saying, "But think of the children!"....I have to point out something: Their kids already know the words and say them, unless the kids live under the deepest rock in the basement of a barn, in the middle of bloody Alaska.

So yeah, I'm not phased by cussing in RP. Unless someone is using it in part of a descriptive narrative....then it bothers me a little. It jars me out of the involvement and immersion. For me, swearing is something a character does, either verbally, or in their self-monologue. The Narrator shouldn't (unless they, themselves, are a character), as it feels weak to use a cuss in a descriptive narration, vs using proper descriptive words.

Jeez that accident looks insane. Glad everyone is at least mostly ok though.

Alrighty folks, we're gonna get really going in the next day or so.

Here's what's gonna happen:

-Either Nem or I will run the NPCs
-Once I've got my post up go ahead and contact the NPC you chose (I still need to know who you'd like Wulfenheart!) in your next post, and I'll respond right after with an NPC post. (Which means don't post directly after another player, wait for me to have the NPC short post up first! I'll be quick, I promise!)
-There will be nessecary info in the NPC post that will lead you on to step two. How you travel is up to you...but I'd suggest some form of motor vehicle ;)

You can have your char start experiencing some minor magic, but minor is the key word. Little puffs of dust for earth mages, glasses of water tipping over for water mages, tiny little sparks or pieces of paper (other flammable things) randomly catching fire, ect. Nothing too major!

From here on out I'd like everyone to commit to 2 posts/week.
