It's over. The witch hunt has finally stopped. You have been forced to watch how witches and wizards, men and women like you, were tied to the stake and burned, was forced to hear them scream as the fire consumed them. You lost count of how many like you died and of how many times you could do nothing but stand there, wanting to put it to an end but knowing that if you did something, they would notice you, and you would meet the same fate.
One brief look at the people that surround you told you more than enough. There were not many left and those who still lived, would be haunted for the rest of their lives, would never forget what they saw and heard. This camp filled with survivors is no happy place.
When you look at one specific witch, your look lingers. Morgana Blackwood. She is the one who gathered those people, who brought them all together. She had saved a lot of lives.
Her story is not unknown. Like many, she was forced to watch how witches and wizards were being burned at the stake. Among those witches and wizards were two of her loved ones, her sister and her husband. After that, she started searching for fellow witches and wizards and convinced them to join her. The fact that her belly had started to grow is perhaps noteworthy and there are rumors, but so far, she has refused to confirm anything.
Whatever it was, there was something admirable about her.
Then, she stood up and raised her voice. Her voice was clear, just like her message, and it caught everyone's attention.
"Witches and wizards, we have watched and heard how the humans have slaughtered those like us. They took those we love deeply away from us and watched us burn, never regretting their actions. They found that what they did was right. I suggest that we find the ones who executed witches and wizards like us and return the favour. It's their turn to burn now."
You knew that people would choose not to participate in this, but you have no desire to not help this woman. You intend to help and support her every single action.
