Since my population is China, it's definitely whatever the max pop is. . .
This may help:
qzil.com/kingdom
As for the size of your nation by roughly eyeing it I measure it around 35,000 square miles.
Pop density could be anywhere from 70 to 100 men per square mile. Whichever is sympathetic to you.

@Willy Vereb Done with your nation sheet?
Of course not. like i said I don't ahve the time for that yet.
I'm technically tending 3-4 other RPs at once now.

Oh, if we're at it. Technology.
Are you fine with me possessing bolt-throwers?
Think of a crossbow shaped closer to a gun.It uses a thick coil spring to launch an all-steel bolt for relatively decent distance.
The spring is tensed by a lever mechanism or in case of heavier models a winch like crossbows do.
My dwarves are way too small to use bows and besides their style requires something unique.

The other is the Vandcykel ships. Dwarves don't rely much on sails and instead use rows of pedalers spinning an Archiedesles's screw to propel their ships. Some versions also use beasts of burden but in general these rely on good'ol dwarven muscle. Think of more quirky tiremes with armored hulls and siege weapons.

These two would be the most important.

Name of God:
Aftrone

Deity of:
Goddess of Judgement

Indirect or Direct:
Direct

Appearance:

Personality:
Aftrone is very well reserved a majority of the time, seeing everyone as equal but dealing with punishment is what she loves to do. She shows no mercy to those who have done wrongs to another. The goddess believes punishments should be fair to the crime that had been committed.

Nation:
Atticun
Population:
60,000
Denizen description:
20,000 in the Capitol of Atticun while 40,000 are spread through farmland and smaller insignificant villages. A very orderly nation where everyone treats another equally, in fear of judgement. Society is based heavily upon Bushido with a strict enforcement of laws.
Lands:
Atticun
Flag:
A scale inside a white circle with a red border

Government description:
Republic, with six members
Military:
10,000 men and women, armed with iron shields, a short sword, and longbows. They have mainly light, leather armor with a metal breast plate to protect them from shots to their chest. The Calvary, which is armed with 2,000 men, is equipped with lances and heavy armored (full metal armor) units, they also have long swords.

Culture:
Bushido is pretty much Japanese Bushido, however it is a lot more strict. They also wish to to survive the long winters that is brought to them. They find most life equal and do not resort to sacrifices. The punishments tend to revolve around what the crime is. Murder is typically dealt with by lashings for twelve hours, whereas murdering a child is dealt with by Gladitorial combat. Insults and theft are not as punishing, typically by public humiliation or they are made to work in the military.

@End HereWould you be fine with ActRiser's not-China having population over 2 million? That's what conservative demographic calculations would assume. See my previous post regarding this.

@Willy Vereb@ActRaiserTheReturned I'm thinking a pop of 2million will be fine. I'm increasing everyone elses cap to 800K.

@Lauder you're accepted, but if you want you should increase your population. If not you're fine to do either.

I plan to expand a bit later. In the mean time, I have a few questions.

1. What abilities do the gods and goddesses actually have that humans do not?

2.
These ten are strong against mages, but are mortal.
Magic is passed generation to generation.

Does this mean Direct gods are allowed ten heroes for the entire RP? Or when one hero dies, can he eventually be replaced by another? I think that would make sense considering mages are always in supply throughout the years.

3.
These warriors can be gifted divine weapons, made of mythical substances.

What sort of divine weapons can these be? Can they have magical power or simply be super strong?

Nur, The Wrothful One

Deity of: Rage, Passion, Strong Emotions, Murder, Violent Behavior, Lust

Indirect or Direct:
Direct

Appearance:

Personality:
The Wrothful One, Born of Twisted Earth, who wanders without a goal, destroying all that is foolish enough to come before her. Nur appeared suddenly one day, apparently born from the very violence of an earthquake that was nearby. Legends say she tore her way through a nearby mountain to move seemingly nowhere in particular, as she began her rampage across the land. Nur is seemingly overwhelmed with hatred and fury, though she is not mindless, as the goddess is able to suppress her fury and hold conversations with her fellow deities and her followers. She is intelligent enough to forumlate things like language and a social structure for her followers. The era of her rampage has long since passed, but Nur is no less violent and agressive. Her every word is tinged with vitriol, and every phrase she constructs is an insult.

Nation:

Harran City States

Population: 150,000

Denizen description:
The Black Haired Elves of Harran, farmers of the 4 Rivers, the builders of the great cities of stone, and beings filled with fury and savagery in war. Harran Elves are an unusual group, gifted in the art of war, but with no regard for Magic. They are a tall, slender race, though significatly more muscular and bulky than a typical elf, giving them a rather imposing mix of muscle and height. The Harran Elves have dark tan skin, black hair, and often grow curly hair and long, thick beards. They take great pride in their facial hair, combing and oiling their long curly beards and hair almost obscesively, and applying dark makeup to their eyes, black eyeliner and mascara to accent their naturally long eyelashes. In their culture, a man who has become a general is given a silver earring, and earns a new one for each war he wins as a general.

Lands:

Flag:

Government description:
A collection of disunified city states, each ruled by their own king or queen, or an absolute oligarchy. They are bound by a common cultural, linguistic and religious identity, but will often go to war with each other, conquer one another, and loot each other. They do have a loose confederation at times, the city of Qoddosh is sacred land, and is a ceremonial "capital" of Harran.

Military:
The Various city states each have their own military. Certain cities have better ones, but all the Harran cities have formidable armies, equipped with state of the art military technology, armors, and weapons. The Military of the Harran elves are notorious for their brutality, with violent actions like torture of their captured people, entire extermination of captured villages, the flaying and salting of prisoners, and horrifically violent punishments for crimes. Despite their power, the near equal strength of the city states makes them unable to conquer each other, and their wrath filled natures prevent long term alliances, acting as a check and balance to their power for now.

Culture:
Harran originated as an agricultural culture of elves who settled around the 4 rivers of the Hasna Desert. Harran was not an easy place to settle. It was fertile around the coast and near the rivers, but its vicious desert could easily kill a man who wandered into it foolishly, and its flat, unprotected land made it easy for conquest and raiding. As a result, the native elves became stronger, more vicious and war like. Then came the arrival of the goddess Nur, who, like a fire of anger, boosted the natural warlike behavior and distrust of the elves hundredfold, and forever shifted the focus of these people. Going from rural farmers, the elves quickly developed cities, walls, militaries and stone cities. The trend toward urban life became stronger as the influence of Nur became stronger in Harran. The Harran are very well suited to urban lives, naturally suited to violent life, who see war as a glorious activity. It is said that in their formitive years, Nur herself created a language for the Harran Elves. The elves have a ceremonial center, the holy city of Qoddesh, home to the Temple of Nur.

The Temple of Nur lays in the heart of the city of Qoddesh, said to be the home of Nur herself. Every 5 years, a sacrifice, usually the greatest warrior of the city state, as a gift to Nur.

As Nur is not only a goddess of Wrath, but of all strong passions, her people are skilled poets, who write stories that express the beauties of love, the passion of determination, the glory of heroes. They have a rich history of literature, and of art in general.

Super detailed Nation sheet I like it. Your link is to the shield also. for your information.

1. You're a god, kind of like those of ancient mythology. You have the ability to create, destroy, and are nigh immortal. You're job is to watch over your people and to make sure that they prosper as such, so what ever means necessary to do so. With that being said, you can't just simply destroy an invading army, you can't craft new landscape, and you can't contently make your people live in a golden era.

So you gain your power off of prayers or sacrifices, and as such you can become weakened after feats of divine intervention or other like things.

2. Eventually you can regain another hero, I'm putting a cap of 10, so that you can not have any army of heroes, while also limiting to five per fielding to prevent you from flooding the battle field with heroes. So there will be a time limit depending on circumstance of death. Say hero dies noble death in battle, You can replace him as long as you have a replacement. Though the story has to be believable. If its kind of lackluster then I'm going to have to say no to the replacement.

So after you've used all but a few of your heroes we'll discuss when an appropriate time to regain your reserves is.

I was thinking heroes are either people you've already selected to be heroes and the reserves just don't know it yet, while the five who are active have full knowledge.

3. Divine weapons are weapons created with the power of gods, so they'r much stronger than normal magic, or even durability of normal weapons. They can enhance the strength or speed of a hero or give them the ability to do other amazing feats.

Also you're accepted into the NRP, move your char sheet over when ever. @OppositionJ

You're accepted! But you can increase your population Its at mac of 800,000 right now@Nerevarine

You're also accepted! @Rhymer Its going to take me awhile to put all of your nations onto the map.

Alright, I believe I will raise it up just a bit. Maybe to either 60,000 or 65,000

I also get this odd feeling that Nur and Aftrone are going to fight from time to time. I don't know why.
