The Death Weapon Meister Academy, or the DWMA, is a school created by the Grim Reaper himself and is designed to train Meisters and their Weapons to combat the threat of Evil. One part of this are the Kishins. Kishin are dangerous, twisted creatures who have strayed from the path by consuming a human soul. More and more souls can turn a person's soul into a Kishin Egg, further consumption of souls will turn them into a Kishin itself, the embodiment of fear. This is why they need to be hunted and purged from this world. However, 99 Kishin souls can be fed to a Weapon to give them the power to transform into a Death Weapon, a weapon of the Grim Reaper. Although, this is not all a Meister requires, they also need the soul of a Witch.



Witches are powerful magic manipulators and their soul is the final piece of transforming a weapon into a Death Weapon. Witches are very dangerous, and many meisters have lost their lives from trying to get the soul of a Witch. They are the second part of the Evil that plagues our world.



You, the player, will be taking on the role of Meister and Weapon (two characters) who attend the DWMA. As well as all taking class (unless you skip it, which you WILL be caught.) you also have the task of transforming your weapon into a Death Weapon that Lord Death will use. However, you still have the duty of the Meister, and the threat of Evil grows everyday. A Meister is someone who can wield a weapon, whereas a Weapon is a human who can become a weapon that ranges from anything such as a sword or even guns! As part of the sacred rules, a Weapon can only consume Kishin Souls. Another aspect of being a Meister and Weapon team is that you have to be compatible, with personalities that compliment each other and able to match soul wavelengths. This also gives them powerful moves if you can pull them off. For example, the Legendary Scythe Meister Technique: Witch Hunter

Hi there, I'm GingerBoi! Welcome to my Soul Eater RP! This is one of the first rp's I've really been excited to GM, so I'm going to put 110% into making this an enjoyable rp for everyone! So, you will be making two characters, one Meister and one Weapon (this is to avoid exclusion. One without the other will just not be right would it?). Below, you will find the CS templates for making a character, but first, lemme go over the rules. I have five, not like Excalibur who has 1000 provisions (Lame.)

Rule 1) Please respect everyone. Roleplays are games and games are made to have fun. Not respecting one another kind of sucks the fun out of things, don't you think?

Rule 2) No godmodding. You're not going to have a 20,000 ft Buster Sword, or a weapon that can level skyscrapers. You can't detect souls from anywhere in the world either. (I believe Soul Detection has a range). As much as this is a fantasy world that has people that turn into actual weapons, let's not go crazy here.

Rule 3) Be creative. Creativity is key to having fun, and no one likes to see boring characters. So as much as there are limits, make an interesting and unique (and I emphasise the word unique) duo that has something that makes them stand out. It's your story too!

Rule 4) Failure to comply with the above rules or behaviour that causes problems for the game will give me reason to ban you from this rp. If no efforts are made to fix your behaviour, or you carry on posting I will have no other choice but to contact the moderators about you. I am not above this. You have been warned.

Personality: Caring, loving, and merry. Kitty has the ability to see the beauty and bright side of everything even in such a harsh world and having to fight evil. People sense her good nature immediately because she is always smiling and in a good mood. She is a person you can unload your burdens with and receive comfort from. She has a strong sense of fairness and despises seeing people hurt under the hands of benevolent individuals.

History: Kitty was born and raised in Death City and had a very nice childhood and her parents remain alive. She owns three dogs each of which are named after Arthurian characters such as Feirefiz, Galahad, and Lancelot; they are protective and big enough to be wolves. She was enrolled in DWMA when she began to notice that her hands would stab things only to see her hands were bladed. Soon enough, she can hold the form of the spear (picture above) that resembles much of her mother's weapon form which was a halberd stylized like a dragon.

Soul Resonance Technique: (This would be up to my partner!)

Flaws: Naive and very sensitive upon the suffering of others. Being too much of an empathetic person can get her hurt too.

Personality: Ethan is a timid pacifist at heart; he hates violence of any kind, and the sight of someone bleeding spooks him a little. If it were up to him, every conflict would be resolved through peaceful negotiation, with no one so much as raising their voice. Oh, and maybe they would have some snacks too. All in all, Ethan is a very peaceful boy

While it's not easy to do, he does have his buttons. Unlike most people; Ethan's rage is not an all consuming inferno, rather it is akin to the cold void of space. When in this state he has no mercy for those who ticked him off, and he will ensure that they suffer for pissing him off. This isn't a separate personality, as Ethan is very much aware of what he's done when like this, and says that it still feels like he's in control. Even though it can seem like a different person.
History: Ethan lived a relatively normal life. He discovered his love for cooking at a young age, and begun studying it in order to make a living through it. His parents both supported his decision wholeheartedly, and even taught him everything they could...however it couldn't last. Ethan also had natural talent at Soul Detection, having also discovered it at a young age. By the time a DWMA recruiter found him, he was arguably a master of the technique. A bit too excited at having found such raw talent, the recruiter attempted to...well...recruit Ethan for DWMA, with a bit too much enthusiasm. Ethan was overwhelmed by the woman's excitement, and was unintentionally cowed into signing up for the school.

Flaws: Normal!Ethan; not good at fighting, easily intimidated. Angry!Ethan; overly aggressive.

Name: Claus Baumhauer
Age: 16

Weapon Partner: Helena Dragic
Personality: Since he was young Claus has trained to be a meister and sees it as almost an insult that he has to partake in classes with students who have a lower skill level than himself. However he is blind to his own flaws, while able to harmonize with any weapon in the class none have willingly partnered with him because of his attitude of not trusting others to help him. His hard headedness makes him never back down from a fight may very well get him killed someday unless he learns there is a right time to step back and accept help.
History: Baumhauer comes from a family with a long history of being Meisters, almost able to trace their lineage back to the eight warlords though much of their family records have been lost with time. From a very young age Claus has been taught under his grandfather's guidance, learning about the history of his family and at the age of 10 started combat training. He was taught sword play, how to control his soul wavelength and sense/read the souls of others. While he was never a natural at this he has through hard work, practice, and determination mastered the art, and considers himself at a level much higher than his peers. Upon acceptance into the DWMA he demanded that he be accelerated into a higher class, thinking it a waste of time to start in the lower ranks but he was denied, told that is he wanted to become a Meister he would have to go at the pace laid out before him. Reluctantly Claus accepted these terms. His Weapon partner is Lena Dragic, the Singing Warblade, be is one of the few with the ability to match her erratic soul wavelengths and was forced to team up with her on the account of no other weapons wanting to be his partner.
Soul Resonance Technique: Soul Rend Overdrive- When Claus manages to match his soul's wavelength with Lena's he is able to put her weapon form into a state of overdrive. When this happens her blade overheats and spits fire from her exhaust (See weapon picture below). During this short period of time her attacks can burn enemies, setting them on fire from contact, radiating intense heat, and her chain blades spin into a crimson blur, able to cut through almost anything with impossible ease. When finished with the state it should be noted that Lena need time to cool down and cannot rev up her blades to attack until she has vented all the access heat.
Soul Detection Skill Level: Claus is a Master of soul detection, or at the very least considers himself very very good at it.
Flaws: Claus even with his talent is at worst a whiny brat. He acts calm and collected but when things do not go his way he angers and can throw a tantrum.

Personality: Lena is very full of herself. She is one of the most powerful demon weapons in the school and she is not even a death scythe yet. However she has a very erratic soul wavelength at this makes it difficult for most Meisters to wield her much less use her at the full potential of her weapon form. She has learned to get along with her partner Claus though, but where he can seem calm and collected she is hot headed and cocky.
History: Like most demon weapons Lena did not even know she was one until the day she accidental cut her bet in two pieces and destroyed the outer wall of her room. A quiet kid in school when people started showing interest in her when it was revealed that she was a weapon it gave her enough confidence the adopt the cocky hotshot person she has at the DWMA. Shortening her name a few letters to something she thought sounded more suited to her she left her normal life with the hopes of someday becoming a Death Scythe. While many were interested in her on the first day that quickly changed when many found out that they could not wield her because of the rapidly changing frequency of her soul. Many of the students just did not have the skill to match and keep up with her accept for Claus, who seemed a natural with his ability to control his soul and read others. And since he had no partner yet and she was the only remaining weapon the two of them were paired up.
Soul Resonance Technique: "Soul Rend Overdrive" an over heat state that allows Lena to unleash the full destructive potential of her weapon form while in Soul Resonance with her partner.
Flaws: Other than her strange soul wavelengths it can be seen that Lena is very weak willed, her tough cocky façade can be broken and reveal just how emotionally fragile she is.
