@KabenSaal

Another author here, who will go unnamed unless they wish to reveal themselves, has brought a few things to my attention that I'd like to speak with you about.

For one: at the point in the RP that your character is currently, it has been one full day. That's not enough time to get enough money for full-time bodyguards, or for information brokers to get much of anything worth value. Even the beta testers don't know much, because things have changed since the beta test. Everyone remember the first floor boss?

Two: about the mini-boss? My sources inform me that the lair of such a creature would be in the middle of the Garumns Gorge, the great sundered cliffs in the center of the map. Navigating down there would take at least a week on foot with a small party, as it is not a solid path.

A reminder for everyone: at this point, we've been playing for less than two days. Please keep in mind that we don't have things like cars or bicycles, or even horses. We get around on our own feet. It's going to take a good bit of time to get anywhere, at least until our characters have significantly improved their SPD stats.

I know that this is a Virtual Reality. However, one part of that is that it is realistic. Just like real life, we eat, sleep, and die; also like real life, we can't fly or teleport wherever we want. Remember, in the anime, there were crystals to teleport to the entrance of a dungeon, and you could teleport between cleared floors. That was it. You can't teleport from a city to the entrance of the mini-boss's lair. That would defeat the purpose of a game that focused on fighting and adventure.

I don't want to seem rude or cruel. However, I am the Game Master of this Role Playing Game, and I want it to be at least semi-realistic. It's no fun if someone just writes in that they discovered something everyone else missed without actually, realistically writing how they did it, in the actual role play.

One more note: I never defined exactly how much authority @Zelosse has, so I will address that. Their authority is equal to my own. If I can do it, so can Zelosse.

I have added skills to the character sheet. Everyone, please edit your character sheets accordingly. Zelosse and I agreed that each character can have two passive skills and two craft skills.

Zelosse, if you wouldn't mind, could you check my character sheets and tell me if I've interpreted "craft skills" correctly?

I wish to clarify that craft skills are what come after you chose a profession. Like Alchemy, leather working, blacksmith, tailoring, jemcraft, you name it its yours. It could even be something like imbuing attribute to a weapon/piece of armor/trinket/passive skill. (lets say you had Cold blooded - you could amplify it to do extra damage against certain types of monsters.)

So maybe something like
Anatomy-higher chance of getting hides for leather working

Scavenger I think covers that, and for any and all creatures. Kill a rock elemental, higher chance to get iron or something.

I've edited and posted my CS for reference of how the skills should ideally look.
Do it your own way just so long as we all know whats goin' on.

IF THERE IS A SKILL YOU WANT BUT IS NOT LISTED, FEEL FREE TO MAKE YOUR OWN.

I would like to have a skill or skills related to beast taming

one idea I have would be something where the pet and tamer have a strong bond allowing for the pet to do more damage but I feel like that's too op

The other idea I have would be something where the pet is easier to train?

Any ideas to help me out?

And, done. I just hope nothing manages to break my weapon because I can't craft a new one worth a rabbit's toenail.

@BlackPanther Animal bond - Master and Pet share heightened stats
Pack fury - Master and pet deal bonus damage to the same target
Predators mentality - Pet gains bonus damage if using an ambush attack
Savage grace - Pet attacks cripple targets
Heightened Instincts - Pet has bonus perception
Heart of the Pheonix - Pets return from the grave
Tenacity - Pets take less damage from monsters
All shapes and sizes - Capable of taming all forms of pets

I take it our 'weapon skill' does not count as one of our two passive skills?

@Zelosse
Thank you
Currently I am trying to think of another craft skill >.>

would a skill for cloth working like this be acceptable:

First aid: user can create bandages that give a certain % of health per second depending on cloth type (one bandage can be used per battle)

How's this for a craft skill?

-Artistic flair: Able to make aesthetic changes and edits to pre-existing armour & non-player made clothing. (basically allows you to adjust the aesthetics of your armour and stuff mainly to add your own touches and style to it.)

Also you know how there were unique skills like holy blade and double blade i think it could be cool if we had something like the gm's secretly made a bunch with requirements and that players could unlock should we ever meet the requirements during the game? Would be cool to dabble with them and such and allow characters to get fun and unique stuff.

@Lightbox, that's actually what I was thinking about with Titan's Hand and Twin Wield which I brought up for discussion earlier. They're hidden skills that you have to fulfill the conditions for before they even show up. Still, that kind of skill would definitely need GM approval since they would all end up being effectively unique skills. It's unlikely that two of the characters in this RP would end up fulfilling the same set of requirements for such a skill.

@Haeo Yeah. I think it would be cool if we could all get our own unique skills but it would be really cool if the gm's had requirements and we had to unwittingly fulfil them because it'd end up a nice surprise and mean we gotta work ;)

Bandages are fine, artistic flair would be fine, and the creation of activated skills is also fine.
nothing too powerful and most likely it will be powers given out later in levels such as Veteran(damage or defense up at lvl 35)

If you have a request for such an ability please PM me or LadyTale with the information for approval.
