I'm In for world building if we also agree character development exceeds conflict. Conflicts are good, but they are not necessary to create a PLot, with Word Building Character personality means everything to me, because it allows us to create archtypes for the culture and the conflicts there in based on scientifically evaluating he social sciences and ethics of the community.
I am all in for World building, first, second and third person POV, and ... seeking as you said fantasy in the first post. I'd be glad to do a fantasy genre. HOWEVER,
I demand that I get my own island, with two of the races, to which if we are empirical I have a Dutchy or Patronage under my GameMaster jurisdiction.
I will be a king with 5 children. the youngest is 9-12 the oldest is 43 (in earth years (which would like to see a general calendar comparison for time elapse AS YOUR DUTY)). He is not my main character. He has 2 generals, one experienced and valued as the King himself, the other one generation older than the King's eldest son. 1 Lieutenant Major, whom is very knowledgably but not combat savvy, being 4th in command.
The population has 5 noteworthy [great-}grandfathers, 7 immigrant families(in that generation), as well as 3 other Great-grandfathers of less renown[not less significance].
This is a human colony. And there is three barons on my Island. ONe whom is great, but old and short-sighted (figuratively and literally), so his authority is dwindling and conspiracies brew unthreateningly amongst his underlings as to who will replace him - creating lack of political focus on concerning issues.
The second baron is very vigorous and ambitious and lacks appreciation for the countries unambitious infrastructure. He is very pompous but competent.
The third is a small baron, whom is easily swayed and demonstrates little authority and is more or less a Mayor.
The Mayor (man with the Key to the city) the 5th in command, is a jolly man, with a temper.
The Ambassador of the Elves (preferably a blend of stereotypes of Woodland-High-& Moon(not night) elves [ Think Rivendel ] .) Rules over 1/4-1/5 of the land on the island. in three divided portions. His population is equal to that of the Human's if you consider that the elves come and go, and do not actually live there as full time residence. His political party is hard to keep track of, as they seem to flow and go with the mood, and they all act as representatives of the King (Woodland's High Moon).
My hero will vary depending on your GM decisions. SO I hope you read at least of this.
I am eager and anticipating a small group of 3-5. Bigger the better ---- with skill. XD :P LOL. not gonna find much here. so 3-5 will make the lack of skill perfect.
