Yeah I wanted to keep it as a surprise, but it does involve Rena wanting to protect Jeremy, I'll say that much. Anyway if you want to go for a time skip lets do it, maybe a few weeks. Although we could write out the rest of this day, she did invite him to have dinner after all.

Since it's your idea, I'll let you do the timeskip and set everything up how you want it. I do want the day to finish out, though. Development and all that jazz.

Alright, I'll have to be honest here. At this point my inspiration for the RP has run dry and I got no idea what to write anymore, or at least can't make it sound good like I want it.

Now I absolutely don't want to abandon this at all, I've invested way too much, but I don't want to make seriously half-assed posts. So yeah, that's how it is, I'm just going to take a break for a little bit and see how that goes, also feel free to do some idle chat here, maybe even talk about the RP itself maybe that will help.

Hey, take the time you need. If you need a break, go for it. I always find that taking a break for a little bit and doing something else for a while helps renew my writing spirit. I'll still be here, but do @mention me when you decide to start posting again.

The thing is I'm still able to write in general, but when it comes to the RP I just have nothing. Also I still want to continue working with you, meaning you're absolutely not the problem. So I have an idea, we write these small "side episodes" using Jeremy and Rena, nothing major or even matters at all for the plot, just ways to get them in fresh situations.

In fact one idea I had is a collective "wet" dream. I know it sounds weird, but I've been wanting to engage in some romance writing, partly since I haven't for quite a while. Jeremy and Rena are simply not ready to even start a real relationship, so I thought why not make it a dream? Anyway if we were to do these, they would happen in a completely separate PM thread.

So... we'd be RPing in their dreams or something? I'm all for something fresh, and I know this is progressing pretty slowly, but those feelings would still have to be there if they manifested as dreams, right? Or are you suggesting we do something more along the lines of an Alternate Universe where the two are much closer and can just go ham?

It really doesn't matter, especially because it shouldn't connect with anything else, unless for some reason we would want to, suppose alternate universe would have the least impact. Anyway this is just and idea, we obviously don't have to do this. @Leysos

Surprise, the more I thought about those sides stories the more I didn't like them, don't know just felt like it took something away from the main RP. Well, sorry for being whishy washy, and made you run around a bit for nothing, guess I just keep having a change of heart.

Good news is along the way I found my zeal again, my solution was trying to angle for more romance progression, that's something that will get somewhere. Don't worry I'm not going to force it out, but it seemed to me after Jeremy's magic got revealed, and hell how Rena physically dried his pants because she's a little weird, they clicked in a major way, plus this was a big milestone right? Things are going to start changing, at least on Rena's side, it would be odd if nothing shifted after what happened.

Anyway enough of my rambling, let's get this back on track.

@Damiann47 No need for apologies, I'm just here for the ride lol. Besides, I know what it's like to both lose my drive and be unsure of where I want to go in a RP. I can forgive you, so long as it doesn't become habitual.

Things are definitely changing on Jeremy's side for sure. He holds a lot of respect for her carefree attitude, and despite showing his magic to her being largely a fluke, he sees that he really can trust her. She's kind of like a safe haven for him, since he's never really had any lasting friendships. That's why he's so relaxed around her now; I think a love could certainly bloom rather smoothly if you just let Rena be Rena.

Either way, I'm looking forward to it. Playing out romance that's built up over the course of the plot is something I've missed due to the absurdly high mortality rate I've experienced with RPs recently.

My secret is tons of Two Steps from Hell while writing. Well I've always done that, but it helps to get a great rhythm going for me.

Normally I would've got it back when the electricity was sorted out, but wait, there's more

I don't even know how long it's been stolen, so who knows HOW long gone it is. Oh, and my house STILL isn't flea-free, so. These past two months have been really shitty.
