Hey everybody! Finally decided to try my hand at launching a rp on here, and if you can't tell by the title this is a rp that takes place within the universe of Dragon Age. I've been writing on Titanpad, so instead of just blowing this page up with text I'll put a brief description of my idea on what the rp will be about-anyone really interested cant shoot me a PM and ill shoot you back the titanpad link.

Mostly I'm looking for 1 or 2 dedicated people that I could colab the actual start of the rp with, few things to nail down before I post up the actual rp. Anyways, here goes with a brief little snyopsis:

"Inquisitor, Herald of Andraste, a lousy nug humper, this and many other titles were bestowed upon the leader of the newly founded Inquisition. To many however the person who lead the Inquisition was little more than an imaginary figure, someone who was more of an idea rather then flesh and blood. These are the stories of those men and women, the brave yet rarely remembered individuals whose accomplishments are often forgotten in time.

-Pawns of the Inquisition will center around a group of characters during the events of DAI. Working for the newly formed Inquisition our characters, who can come from all walks of life, will be those individuals who undertake the various "War Table Assignments" we see in game. Likewise as a group we can collab character drivein plots into the rp itself."

Ayeee consider me interested, I have been waiting for a good DAI rp for a while :D

Welp, Im still looking for a person or two to colab the background details of the plot. So anybody who has the time and is interested-shoot me a pm, Id also love some help around the site itself before I throw the rp up (Whats regular for an intro post-things of that nature. Each sites different afterall and I've not rpd on this one before.)

Anyways I've still been writing a little while I wait for some colab partners: but to keep people interested Ill throw up a few things. Its also worth mentioning this rp is intended to be Advanced Casual or Light Advanced or whatever the correct term should be: pretty much just expecting 1-2 paragraphs, of course that can change depending on the situation. Pretty much just do your best, I mean Im no author so I wont be jumpin down anyones throat.

So far here are the potential starting quests for our characters-totally open to other ideas, Its just hard to nail these down until I've established a proper timeline (mainly when the rp itself will actually start) but...here goes.

"1-We are sending you and a small group to investigate reports of Red Lyrium mining taking place just off the Storm Coast. It is unknown whether Venatori, Templars, or just the Carta are responsible. Irregardless the Inquisition wants the operation completely shut down and, if at all possible, all the red lyrium destroyed.

2-Locals on the edge of the Kokari wilds have been begging us to help put a stop to what they claim is Malificar activity. At first we wrote these stories off as mere rumours; childrens stories that so often plague the guillable populace. When our own scouts started reporting strange activity and then altogether began dissapearing, well, we decieded the matter might warrant more seriouse investigation. The last contact we had with Inquisition members was in the small village of Driskal-Investigate with caution.

3-A recent earthquake (no doubt caused by these damn tears in the rift) has unearthed an old Elven temple within the heart of the Hinterlands. Immediatley we dispatched a small scouting party, along with an elven scholar, to investigate the structure. Understandably the warring mage and templar factions that are very prevalent in the area have slowed progress, but despite this our scholar claims to have found "artifacts of the utmost importance to future Inquisition endeavors"-You are to report the Ruins of Anderan and do your best to see these artifacts safeley delivered to a contact in Redcliff."

Age: 30

Gender: Male

Appearance: Like most Dwarfs Flint's battle scarred features are kept hidden behind a thick brownish beard that is almost always kept tied in overly elaborate brades, his grumpy pudgy pit bullish face a seemingly constant mask of weariness-the look of a man that has seen far to much of the dark side of life in Thedas. Of all his features the one that stands out most of all is the large black S shaped tattoo on his right cheek, although his crooked nose (clearly having been broken a few times) comes in at a close second. At his full height he stands at a whopping 4'11”, although his stout muscular frame looks much more intimidating while encased in his thick iron plate mail.

Equipment: Aside from an enchanted wooden Buckler and his average looking mace Flint carries the bare essentials along with a few personal knicknacks, all of which he usually keeps bound to his back in an old leather rucksack.

Specialization: Carta “Training”

History: Born the lowest of the low in a society where position is everything Flint was quick to learn just how important standing up for himself was, a fact that lead him down a path of constant fights and run ins with the law. In his world though the fact of the matter was his family could either starve or eat off the coin he earned doing things many claimed the paragons frowned upon.

Sod the paragons.

The stone had found it fit to give Flint a hard body and soft soul, a fact that clashed with the day to day dealings of his various “jobs”. Nonetheless for eighteen long years Flint begrudgingly locked his conscience away.

After years of hard work, shady dealings, and a fair amount of blood Flint had made his way up to a position of some actual importance-at least it was an important position to the far to numerous casteless that occupied Dust Town. For almost a year things had begun to look up for Flint, serving just underneath a wicked woman named Jarvia had brought him more wealth then he had ever seen up to that point in his life-he had so much money he was even able to afford a fancy looking ring for his younger sister.

All good things must come to an end as they say though, something Flint truly took to heart after the death of Jarvia-an event that created a power vacum unseen in Dust Town for as long as Flint could remember. One thing led to another and before Flint knew it he was taking his first (and hesitant) steps onto the surface, the ensuing blood bath in Dust Town having earned him and a handful of other teary eyed dwarfs a one way ticket above ground.

Amazingly Flint was shocked to find that he took to surface life far better then he would have ever imagined, his mace and shield quickly finding him work as he was drug off on various adventures throughout his years of traveling. And even more impressive was how almost all of those large bumbling humans didn't pay any heed to his permanently tattooed face-to them he was 'just another dwarf.'
