Amenoten

19

A Young Man's Character

Presently the fatherless young man seems on the outside to have overcome his grieving process in a short amount of time. The undertaking of the vast kingdom in a year of civil division and uprising battles from the outlying opponents has taken the weary attention of Amenoten and needed a spirit of stoicism despite his mother's current caretaking of leadership. She is profoundly tired of the political agendas and is admittedly still in her grieving process. Knowing her son to be a bit over zealous and passionate about his decisions almost to a fault, his mother tries to find a woman that will balance her son's nature. Amenoten will do whatever it takes to become a great and guiding pharaoh, but he privately questions each set back as being an omen that he is unfit to become a god-king...

Educational Experiences

Religious understanding of the gods and reading their signs, mathematical comprehension, geographical comprehension and tactical strategies, hieroglyphic calligraphy, historical understanding of Egypt and his lineage, weapon and freehand combat.

Interests

Egyptian chess, swimming, wrestling, and many other hands on activities. Things like meditation toward the gods and calligraphy provoke his impatience very strongly. It is hard for Amenoten to find respect for attributes or topics he finds too frivolous or complicated to the point of hinderance.

Immediate Family

His mother is the ony surviving member of his immediate family. His father has passed and of their attempts to have children, only Amenoten survived past childhood. As of yet, they have not seen any signs of a birth defect or health problem of their son either. His oldest cousin grew up with him, and close in age their competitive demeanors toward each other began from an early age.

Cailie McCormick

17

Story of A Girl

Cailie used to be a happy-go-lucky kind of girl. A social butterfly and partially mischievous she was always doing something with someone or exploring some part of the world. Often she would do things with her older sister and best friend Alicia. However, an accident after a night of partying turned her personality to a complete 180. The accident put her sister in a coma, and Cailie was diagnosed with an incomplete spine injury and a severe case of claustrophobia. The road to recovery was harsh and exhausting. Cailie became a shut in, she stopped talking to friends, stopped going out. She began reading more books as a result of keeping to herself.

Education

Cailie is an AP student with a 4.0 grade average. As a result of her shut in she began to develop a love of ancient history. Currently she's a junior in high school and has already completed a semester of collage through her schools partner program. She's knowledgeable of Egypts vast history, as well as the Sumerians, Hittites, Greece, and Rome. Her worst subject is Math. She utterly despises the subject despite the fact that she's pretty good at it. Took one class on Astrology, she has taken two sculpting classes, and one fine arts class.

Interests
Cailie loves to read, cross stitch, swim, explore, draw, and occasionally sculpt if she gets her hands on some clay. She can't stand cooking, and anything sport related is simply out of the question. She does like to experiment with her artwork, as well as ponder the significance and validity of the universe. She's also a closet singer. Meaning she's self conscious about her singing even though Alicia always told her she should try out for the Voice.

Immediate Family

Alicia is her older sister. Her father is the CEO of a popular travel agency and is always away on business. Cailies mom is a flight attendant for international flights and travels all over the world. Alicia and Cailie have always lived in an apartment together, but since the accident Cailie has had to curb her claustrophobia to visit her sister in the hospital. Booth of her parents have taken time away from work to be at the sisters home to deal with the crisis at hand.

Diomedes

24

The Bastard Son

Diomedes was born of the Queens sister and a Grecian musician that happened to pass through Egypt. Soon after his birth is mother died and the Lady Queen of Egypt raised him as her own. His aunt had tried for many years to bear the Pharaoh children but failed each time. That was until she gave birth to Amenoten when Diomedes was only five. The two were raised as brothers and although they had their differences the two cousins got along surprisingly well. Diomedes was like other children, but unlike Amenoten was not very charismatic and was often getting into trouble. Pharaoh was not pleased, and he was often defended by his Aunt. Diomedes keeps his feelings in check, but is known to be hot tempered, and known punch holes into walls as a result. With Egypt in the crisis that it is he knows he needs to step up to bring the country to order. However, due to his lineage he can't be a successor to the Egyptian throne. Frustrated, he bears strong resentment toward Amenoten.

Education
He excels at everything except for history and calligraphy. He's a master bow man, master taction, and a math wiz. He had the same basic education that Ammenoten did and this often caused competition between the two. Diomedes had to out do Amenoten at every endeavor to prove himself a worthy ruler for the Egyptian throne.

Interests
He has always been fascinated with human endurance, manipulation of the human mind, any sort of strategy game, fighting, wrestling, weapons, reading, swords and knives, as well as chariot racing. He also has a love for horses.

Immediate Family
His Aunt and his cousin/brother Amenoten. Most of the family relies in either unmarked graves across the dessert or in the Valley of the Kings. While most of his Aunts children managed to survive to some form of childhood their lives were cut short to poor health if they weren't either a miscarriage or still born. Diomedes has an Egyptian name witch is Seth. However, he's preferred to stay with his Grecian name because he feels closer to his mother and part of his unknown father.

Lydium

18

A Creature of the Cunning Kind…

She is by no means the most beautiful in court, and has a understated amount of make-up on compared to many others. But her position among other suitors stood out on her amount of practical intelligence and driven demeanor to sort things out to her best advantage. She is sharply manipulative, many nobles of the more compassionate manner find her to sleeker than snake oil amongst many her own age. They rumor her to be the shadow of her father with the flirtatious whims of her mother, with her humbleness only before her mentors the gods themselves. On behalf of her parents lineage and her own crafted obsession to weed out her fellow peers, Lydium is satisfied with her position as the rumored woman for Amenoten. She finds that her independent, brazen attitude has caught the respect and curiosity of Amenoten, and found him speaking with her in private settings as a means to cut the formalities between them. With the way her mother and aunts advise her how to court the future pharaoh and his mother’s approval, it’s only a matter of time before she usurps the kingdom’s power.

Education

Lydium, as the daughter of a general, can speak several languages that are relevant to the Egyptian kingdom. She is well versed from having foreigners as tutors so that in future settings she may understand the language of enemies or allying societies who live on the outer limits of the kingdom. Her mother bestowed her a strong interest in musical instruments which Lydium has also made a sinister focus of her perfectionist attitude. The art of public speaking came to be another of her strongest attributes, something that takes a plain woman like Lydium and lets the words become an attractive quality amongst others. She has an in-depth understanding of the gods and their history, but math, geography, physical sciences, and visual arts bring out her most impatient tantrums to grasp them.

Interests

Political parties, musical recitals, Egyptian boardgames, philosophical and religious gatherings, and the rumors and traveling gossip amongst the noble families. Sometimes her brothers will take her out to go fishing for vocational sport by the Nile. Lydium finds a keen love and obsessive desire to perform and memorize the rituals for the Egyptian deities, in hopes to call upon their power herself. This is keenly narcissistic and a oversight of her own authority to have them answer her desires. Perhaps a lesser god will give her the opportunity of power she is looking for though…?

Immediate Family

Lydium was raised under the confines of a prestigious mother and father. She understood this power they had among others at a tender age, and under the tutoring of the women in her family, grew to become a clever presentation of a noble Egyptian woman.
Lydium grew up in the home of five sons, being the youngest child and the only daughter. Many of her brothers followed in their father’s footsteps, leading on to lifestyles within military commands or like their uncles, residing over a political form of responsibility. She has a close bond with her mother and aunts, though the jealousy stricken amongst herself and her cousins can drive a dramatic amount of betrayal or deceit amongst them.
