So, just threw in the first companion; Asshead the Eyebot. I've dotted some companions around the whole region - some more overpowered than others - so, he's the first that's been found. Companions act like NPCs that you can control - keep them in character and have them follow you around on your adventures, send them home to pick them up later, or just decline their companionship in favor of focusing on one character.

@Ordure speaking of chapters, how long are you planning to make each one? I assume there must be certain plot points that have to happen first.

I'm thinking chapters are going to be pretty long, actually - more of an arc than a chapter, really - dealing with the various problems of the wasteland, the first chapter being the civil war between the Order and Revolution, the second chapter focusing on the growth of the Glowing Bog and it's threat, the third chapter focusing on two familiar military powers coming in to continue their war, the fourth involving the rise of the Guild of Voodoo, etc. etc.

Some definitely have an aversion to humans, and may spear or shoot at them if they see them in the bog, but none of them actively seek out humans to slaughter. Yet.
