I threw up a post. I feel a bit bashful considering I have read some of your prior experiences in IC posting and it is amazingly advanced. If you feel you are losing motivation from my simplicity of writing, please be honest. I am out of practice and just leaping back into creative writing. Hence the 1x1 versus a group environment.

@BluBlood Don't be silly. You have nothing to be bashful about and I've only returned to roleplaying two or three months ago after not writing anything worthwhile in two years or more.

Anyway, you have my IC post. And please let me know whether you want to make a character or not for that other RP, once you've made up your mind. :)

I should be able to get back to you by tonight or tomorrow. Work kind of kicked up and I recently went out of town for a concert on my days off this week. It was for the band Tool!

Added one additional paragraph because it felt unfinished a tad.

I'm familiar with Tool - A friend in high school was crazy about them and had me listen to some of their songs. It's cool, just not entirely my thing.
Now that I think about it, I haven't really been listening to Metal in the last few years but I've shifted more towards stuff like Two Steps From Hell. But I do like some Twisted Sister every now and then. :P

So, more Nadine-teasing (which is making it really hard for poor Gabriel to focus - shame on her... but keep it coming XD ) aside, how do we want to proceed? Should we actually have them walk home together and write another scene? Or do you have something else in mind?

What's the point of being a hottie-puh-tottie if you can't tease! ;P

Some ways to continue..!

Gabriel and Nadine begin their walk home and when he drops her off, she pulls him in for the hook, line, and sinker. They wake up the next day together, sober and hung over and coming out of their comas over breakfast to hash out what has really been going on with magic in the town and why it has cultivated here. Basically, this is the white rabbit effect, Gabriel being led down the rabbit hole. But the same thing could ocur had they never slept together, gone home with each their own friends, and met up a couple days later, Nadine having markered her number on his arm at the party.

How to move on from there is I was going to ponder Cassie being part of a group, maybe four other people, herself, Nadine as a probie/freshmeat, and Nadine is trying to convince them to bring in Gabriel because of his natural intuition she witnessed with the fire (and six is such a lucky number for a group!) It would made our cast quite a bit bigger but plays into the idea of slowly evolving the cult culture. We could play these as fleshed out characters with their own dynamic agendas or as minor NPC's. If we choose the former, we may want to create some character skeletons.

I think Nadine and Gabriel are going to start finding out that as they practice and discover more together, outside of the circle, the group scrutinizes them for actions of disloyalty toward the circle. Or perhaps the greed to opportune powers is striking schisms amongst them as friends. Jealousy and keeping secrets, somebody hiding away an enchanted object for their own upperhand in the craft. It seems like some people in the group want to take a role of leadership when the circle was founded on equality? Perhaps one of the four has done his own homework and become infected with demonic possession? Just pondering a couple steps ahead.

You know how I feel, if you have intuitions of your own, I would love to hear them. Technically, if this is the first party on winter break, they have about 6 weeks until the next semester starts (end of January...)

I don't know about you, but that's how long my winter break is in between semesters.

Not here. We have only two semesters (it was confusing as fuck to wrap my mind around the three-semester system when I went abroad to England), with two big breaks from the start of February to around mid-April and from late July to mid-October, with a week / two weeks off in May/June for Whitsun and December/January for Christmas respectively.

Gabriel definitely approves the sex. It might actually enable him to not act like a pubescent teenager when her boobs are in his field of view. XD

And I definitely like the thought of putting them in a circle with others (who, I assume, will be the upper echelon of the later cult), so I think we should flesh those four out a bit when the time comes.
As they practice on their own, Nadine and Gabriel might find that they have more intuition and even innate power than the rest of them combined and, after a little bit of help from them, they might also be in possession of all the information they need to get started and find out more.
At least for the foreseable future, I'd like them stay loyal to each other - that is to say, they could go full monogamous relationship or enjoy a semi-committed lifestyle where they might use their powers to seduce others and 'spice things up'. I kinda like option two better because mindcontrolling others into having sex with them sets a darker tone and could gradually lower their threshold for even more depravity; eventually, it might come down to one of them finding their conscience again and the other being mad with power, or they could both be mad with power and turn on each other, or they could just not and be lovey-dovey demigods for all eternity together, but through most of this project, I'd like them to be the constant in each other's life as we explore their backstories and destroy most of it. ^^

With that in mind, the cult leadership turning on each other and somebody being possessed by a demon sounds great, as does their initial premise. If Gabriel and Nadine are the protagonists, the cult should definitely be their main antagonists (with other supernatural things popping up as we go) and turn on them soon.

I think that's going to be a fun six weeks for them. :P

Maybe after one night with Nadine he'll think it over, before he deals with a sadist again. Oh yes, this is going to hurt!

I swear on several occassions I find you reading my mind on where to push this story forward. Excellent. The details you worked up are what I was molding over as well, I had a strong feeling it would work well to keep them on the same side for quite a well until the hairs start splitting apart as the instability and loss of values seeps into their psyches.
