The world is no longer what it use to be. Pokemon and humans do still live in harmony, but humans are no longer pokemon trainers. When a human wants to train a pokemon they must find one that they would like to merge with, and sucessfully merge with it. They will train and battle. Trying to be the very best like no one ever was. Still training, still evolving, still gaining more pokemon to merge with.
The merger began twenty years after the criminal teams were defeated, and the legendary pokemon believed that merging would lower the crime in the world. Sadly they were wrong, but now there is a new way to fight them, a way never before used.
