Ok I thought you meant by like an atheist or whatnot. Now if you go with this idea of like a Nordic Templar,you really need to explain why he joined the Christian order of the templars. Maybe he lost family from these demons, converted to Christianity but continues to practice the Nordic religion in secrecy? Idk. I need something reasonable though and understand he will be under heavy scrutiny by their commander and others....which I won't mind. Drama is good in RPs so I'm interested in seeing where you go with this. I'm also hoping to at least get most of not all of the OOC up by tonight or sometime tomorrow
i was thinking an Atheist Templar too, but, as a very preliminary viking (off the top of my head) it would be a couple things. primarily, his drive would be fighting for, protecting, Midgard (Earth) from the Norse apocalypse. he would also volunteer for daring or difficult missions as death by combat would grant him entrance to Valhalla. he would practice his religion openly, although with respect to the other Templar. more of a live and let live mentality.
and i could do a tragic backstory thing, but it wasnt my first plan.
