Location: Her home then to Vigilante Village
Interacting With: Her mentor, Mako.
Nessa had packed the last item in her suitcase then zipped it up. She made a small checklist in her head, which she marked off by using her fingers. She didn't want to go back to the camp after what had happened last year but her mentor wanted her to face her fears head on since she was becoming a much stronger person. Nessa slung one bag over her shoulder while carrying the other two in her hands then giving her room one final look before kicking the door shut with her foot. She walked with an uninterested demeanor down the stairs as she heard the blaring horn of her mentor.

Nessa simply shook her head while opening the door to her home and staring at him. "I'm coming!" She shouted then walked to his already opened trunk and placed her bags inside, closing it when she was finished. She scurried back up to her front door, locking it then closing it after giving her home another preview before jumping in the passenger seat, her mentor speaking towards her. "Hope you're ready to go back." Mako, her mentor, muttered as she smiled then stared out of the window after an eye roll.

She listened to her mentor talk on and on about making sure she watches her back at all times, do not trust anybody this year and a whole bunch of other crap that she heard over and over again. Nessa gave him a thumbs up then went back to staring out of the window, enjoying the beautiful scenery as they were closing in to the camp.

Her eyes squinted as she looked afar, no one else was here yet. She was literally the first one here. She wanted to ask her mentor did he do this to her on purpose but decided against it since would've been deemed disrespectful, to him anyway. She saw the sign, which read The Vigilante Village Est. 1986. She continued staring at the wooden huts and and cabins in the distance, too. Nessa felt a bit uneasy about the ghostly setting of the camp this year, she knew that something was off. She unlocked her seat belt then got out of the vehicle, closing the door and hearing Mako shut the engine off. "What is it, Nessa?" She didn't answer him as she walked towards the headmaster's office, her name being called repeatedly by Mako.

Nessa reached out and turned the knob, pushing forward and the door opened. She gasped then looked at Mako, who was now standing beside her, practically begging her not to go inside but of course, she went inside anyway. Mako sighed and followed as they saw a note on the desk. "Look." Nessa said while picking up the pace in her footsteps then reaching out and grabbing the note, handing it to Mako. "What does it say, Mako?" Nessa asked while peering her eyes onto the piece of paper from behind.

Dear whoever you may be reading this,

I'll be away for a day or two and I ask that you keep the camp in one piece, or at least try to, please. I also ask that you make the campers happy on their first day back and make sure no one kills anyone. Okay? We do not need a repeat of last year, am I right? But anyways, just take care of things until my return. Thanks.

xoxo - Headmaster Lewis

Nessa was even more confused now as her ears twitched, hearing more tires roll over the gravel outside. She looked at Mako with a smile then muttered. "More campers. Come on." She ran out of the headmaster's office, along with Mako then they got back into the car and drove further into the campsite. Everything was the same as last year, to be honest with the exception of that same ghostly feeling, which was a bit uneasy. Nessa walked into her cabin as Mako dismissed himself from her side and threw her luggage on the ground, sniffing the air then exhaling it out with a slight cough.

She picked up her bags then picked the dresser closest to the door and started unpacking her belongings as she couldn't wait to see who her roommate, or roommates were for this year. It was going to be a great year, even the headmaster is sort of missing in action.

Anastasia

Location: Her familys estate to Vigilante Village.
Interacting With: her grandfather- kinda, her brother.

Ana Took a deep breath of the dust filled air of her tower room as she rushed through her belongings not packed neatly in her large travelers trunk. Those belongings scattering the floor as she was looking for something.. so by not finding it even though she went through her room.
" Just leave without your journal. You can always keep your memories in your head you know." the familiar voice of her grandfather coming from down the stairs. Packing the last of what she would need and checking it off the hand written travel list she had made the night before. It was her first day at this camp place which she would be spending mostly, hopefully, all of her summer break. Which was just fine with her seeing as the area around the estate she already explored. Ten times.

But a new place means new things to see people to meet and an adventure around every corner. Pulling the slightly heavy suitcase to the dumbwaiter she tossed it in. Closing her room door as it started to descend slowly, siting on the railing and sliding down the large stair case. finding her trunk on the floor infront of the dumbwaiter when she got down.
" How this always manages to do that will never cease to amaze me.." Ana muttered as she was swopped up into a spinning hug by the youngest of her brothers. He dropped her onto her feet and patted her head.
" Im escorting you to this camp sis. Get to see where you'll be hanging about this summer while I'm stuck here playing perfect boy for mum and pa." He grabbed her suit case and walked out the large doors Ana dashing out infront of him to his fiery red pickup truck calling shotgun even though no one else was going with them. Both of them laughing as her mother and father waved from the porch. Her grandfather peering from his study smiling at the adventurous child. 'Stepping closer to her future everyday. '

She mostly stared out the window of the truck admiring the beauty which is nature as they drove. It was a bit of a long distance, them to the camp. Listening to old classical, jazz, blues and swing music when they found a good station. Her brother was a weird one when it came to music. She wasn't going to complain. She was raised on the stuff too.
--

As they arrived at camp her brother ruffled her hair get a whine out of the girl wondering why he wa picking on her al of a sudden.
" Getting close now Stasia. This place kinda gives me a ghost town feeling. You sure you wanna go? We could go cross country traveling instead?" He said it doubtfully but she headed no fear response.

"Come on Wimp. Every ghost town has a good story. And with every good story, there is an adventure waiting to be had!" She said happily as they pulled in. It seemed there was another car here earlier so he pulled over helping her unload her trunk from the back. He kept the truck on as they talked the slight sound of violins coming from the trucks cracked open windows. Reassuring him that she could still change forms and fly home if anything happened she sighed again. He wouldn't leave her alone. Five more minutes he was convinced they were at the wrong place. Reminding him of the sign they past on their way in. The Vigilante Village Est. 1986.

Convincing him they where not lost she got him to get in the car and drive off leaving Anastasia sitting on her travel trunk waving him away. Such a brother to be so protective. Wondering where all the other campers where. She stayed put, unsure that she should venture off into the woods alone. Waisting time now she started staring off at the trees estimating how high each one was and if it was possible to climb them. View must be great from up there.
Drifting off into thought, awaiting anyone who knew where they were going to guide her about.

Rakala Faust

Location: Home to Vigilante Village
Interacting With: His family and Ana

Rak was rummaging and tossing things into his suitcase for this summer. He had done this several times before and even though other years his procrastination caused him to forget things, he was sure he wouldn't forget anything this year. He managed to flatten the bag enough to seal the zipper without breaking it. He took the rest of the clothes he would leave and stuffed them back into his dresser. He fortunately did have everything this year, but as he ran through everything he had and needed he still felt the feeling of forgetting something. He subsided the feeling pretty easily as he was able to account for everything in his mental list. He was pretty good at packing with one suitcase, a backpack, and a pillow case that he stuffed all of his bedding into.

His uncle Chorazin was driving him to camp as his dad was away on a business trip and his mother chose to stay home. He was eager to leave, but knew he needed to tell his mom that he loved her and give her the proper goodbye she deserved. She had gotten pretty used to it by now, but would never be completely fine with letting him go long periods of time. He said his goodbyes and "I love you"s and headed back to his stuff by the door. As he grabbed his backpack and pillowcase, Chorazin grabbed his suitcase and led the way to his car. They filled the trunk and set off for Vigilante Village.

"So how many pairs of clothes do you think are going to be shredded this year? Chorazin joked. Rak just smiled and replied, "Probably at least a few." Their trip was pretty quite except for the radio to drown the silence. Rak was caught up in the scenery and his thoughts of camp this summer. Reflecting on memories of camp from the previous years and the camp lake, which was definitely one of his favorite things. Chorazin broke the silence a few times and they engaged in menial conversations, but even he didn't have much to talk about today.

They passed by the old sign that in ways seemed historic to Rak. Soon after, they arrived at the actual camp and the cabins. Rak noticed that he was one of the first to arrive for the camp. He knew how it worked and found the cabin that he thought was the best. He quickly grabbed his bags and brought them just inside the cabin. He went back out to see Chorazin off. "Well you know the drill, stay out of trouble and more importantly don't get caught. But yeah have fun. I'll be back in a few months." "Yeah I will, and I know. I've gotten pretty good at not getting caught, at least I think. I'll cya then." As Chorazin drove off, Rak returned to the cabin and threw his stuff up onto a bed on the second floor. That's good enough for now, I'll take care of it later.

He returned outside to see who else was here already. He noticed a girl sitting on her trunk a ways off. She looked sort of bored and unsure, so Rak went over to investigate. He didn't recognize her, and unless she was just dropped off and really couldn't carry her trunk, she must be someone new to camp. He decided he would try to make her feel comfortable and help anyway he could. "Hi, I'm Rak. I don't think I've ever met you before. Do you need help with anything?"

Lyric Tidepool

Location: Streets to Vigilante Village
Interacting With: Nobody

Lyric sat upon a small hill with a tree planted in its center, leaning against the trunk for a feeling of clarity. She clutched a small slip of paper in her hands, concealing the address of a strange place which she was meant to go to. Supposedly, there were people there who could help her. Glancing around, mostly at the sky or ground, she reviewed these facts in her mind. She remembered the man from the street's words. "Today would be a good day to go, if you want to start out right and with all the other campers." Sighing for lack of better things to attempt, she stood up and started to set out. Fortunately, this place wasn't far.

She made good effort to watch all the other people heading in the same direction, trying to notice oddities. Some who were travelling had more prominent supernatural ability than others, at first glance. More disfigurements or mutant tendency. She hadn't packed anything, only carrying a small, ornate wood carving and some paper other than her slip, with of course pencils. They were only sentimental or to keep her busy.

Finally, she was approaching the sign. It seemed architecturally sound, yet vaguely historic. 'The Vigilante Village.' 'Est. 1986.' It seemed only a few campers had yet arrived. She was still plodding along, the 4-mile journey not much to her, though walking for so long made her tired of the walking itself. Lyric wondered why it was called the Vigilante Village. Named after those who keep watch, taking justice into their own hands. Seemed fitting, all wonder aside.

Trudging into what seemed to be a main camp area, she was a bit surprised to see that she was alone save for a boy speaking to a girl on her trunk. Unsure of what to do now that she was here, she supposed she would wait around for a bit and see what turned up. She found a good place to sit down, just up in a tree away from the two campers, and considered the place. There appeared to be cabins away from the outside lobby area, supposedly for multiple campers. Lyric was not considerably pleased by this discovery, but looked over the other two people who'd arrived.

She was sure at least one of the campers would be a tolerable housemate, if not these two. Her fingers involuntarily ran across the designs on the small wooden statue. They were worn, familiar. Always a good starting point for rationalizing herself. As long as the glyphs on this statue were the same always, everything was still real. She got out some of the paper and began to fold paper cranes out of habit. She filled the tree with them, a routine she could repeat when she was bored or nervous.

Finally, she decided to just watch over the commotion inevitably ready to occur below her. She'd been spending time making each crane in a symmetrical pattern with the rest, but realized the beauty found within the lack of symmetry and grudgingly left it be. Therefore, she had time to kill. Nothing better to do when I'm not sure how to progress, is there?

Cressida Mazahnderani

Location: Airport -> Diner -> Camp
Interacting With: Her cousin, Jerard

Cressida was uncomfortably shifting on her seat throughout the trip. Flying always made her feel queasy, probably because the idea of being 30000ft above ground is not the most comforting thought for her, she would very much prefer a day of sailing than this. She was silent all throughout the trip, with the occasional chit chat with the passenger next to her. Nice young man, friendly, bubbly, who was obviously making too much of an effort to impress. She reread the email sent to her on her phone, The Vigilante Village Est. 1986. , she muttered, while her thoughts argued with herself for not looking ahead before accepting such a shady invitation. A part of her wanted to see what awaits her in this new adventure and to find safe refuge for her kind, but now floating midair, she wasn't sure if she made the correct choice. The flight almost took forever until they reached the airport, Cressida restrained herself from falling to her knees and kissing the floor once she set foot. Pushing her baggage behind her while scanning the airport, she let out a snicker when a familiar face caught her from afar. A scruffy man, a couple of years older than she is, holding out a giant cardbord over his head that says "You're so vain you probably think this sign is about you"
Walking towards him, she was greeted by tight hug.

"Still as cynical as ever, Jerard? And a Carly Simon fan, even after all these years."

" You know me too well, prima." he greeted her cousin with another hug, before they leave the airport.

Jerard was one of the few people who knew about their species. After all, his mother was one, and so are his sisters. Unlike Cressida, he was never big on the family tradition, with his reason being a male born in a matriarchal lineage, that leaves so little to no slice of pie in the family business, and for an aspiring young man like Jerard, Cress knew he deserves so much better. Eventually he found a life in America, and like Cress, he found it through music. The car ride was a good time to catch up, both grew up together in a seaside village in Mayaguez, Jerard leaving only a year before she did.

"So, you're big in San Juan now. Heard a lot about your success, tia must be so proud."

"I doubt that. I never had any contact with mama since i left Mayaguez."

"Well, she still probably heard about you, seeing as you're a celebrity and all."

"I'm hardly a celebrity. Remember I work underground?"

"Eh, why, even. I mean, obviously youre a magnificent musician. A lot of mainstream agencies here in America would love to have you."

She rolled her eyes at the thought of it, her cousin noticed in his amusement.

"Or you could always go indie. That's a thing."

They pit stopped at a diner on their way to Tennessee for some grub, while Jerard brag on about his comfy life in the US.

"It is your first time here Ms. Lady of Jazz? We could go cross country, stop by a few states. Maybe San Fransisco. But I have a feeling you will love Seattle. You could always live with me, I have a nice little place there."

"I'm not on vacation, nor am I planning on migrating. I think of this as a calling, or a temporary get away from the pressure back home right now."

"Our kind in not welcomed in Puerto Rico, you know that. And you know it is dangerous for a Siren to stray from her sisters. Without a circle to protect you, you'll be an easy target."

Cressida sure as hell won't go back to her mother for protection. She'd take the Vigilate Village anytime than spending another minute with her. But she looked down at her coffee to realize the truth in her cousins words. It wasnt the first time someone threatened to expose her, hell way worse things had happened. She was mugged twice, sent death threats, without her abilities she didnt know if she could even survive, but then all of this wouldnt happen without it in the first place. The struggle is real.

"I have a home there. Work, friends. There's no way I'm leaving them behind. Besides, I'll probably go back when the pressure dies down. And maybe if I find greater purpose for my abilities here, I'd probably consider it." She smiles taking a sip from her warm drink.

"Well then, if you do, just let me know. I probably got a spare matress to lend at my bachelor pad." he jokes.

As they head on the road, Cressida finds herself scanning through her emails again, stopping at the message sent to her the other day.

"Are you sure about this?" Jerrard was peeking at her phone.

"No. But I'm already here so."

"Never in my mind have I doubted you to back out on a challenge. Totally saved me my 50 bucks."

"At this point, I guess there's no backing out now."

"Hey," Jerard planted a gentle hand on Cressida's shoulder." If you need anything, just ring me up, ok?"

She gave him her most gentle smile. "Of course."

Jerard peeked behind her, through the passenger window. "And, look, your jolly fellow campers are here. Wouldnt want to ruin your earlybird record, Crissy."

Cressida cringed at the childhood nickname, she never was a fan of it.
Looking out the passenger window, only did she realize that this was her first time in a summer camp, probably because it was never a thing from where she grew up, but nevertheless, it made her feel like a nervous wallflower on her first day of school.

"Feel like backing out at the last minute?" Jerrard teased her. Cress returned an assertive stare, to prove him otherwise and went out the car door.
Jerrard followed, taking out the baggage from the trunk, but was stopped by Cress when he intended to follow her to the camp, offering to hand the baggage to her.

"I can handle it."

"You sure? This suitcase weighs like a ton you know. What you got in here?"
"My womanly charms." She says sarcastically. "Look, I'll call you if I need anything."
Cressida gave her cousin one last hug before leaving, waving just before entering the driver seat, and he was off. She took deep breaths as she confidently walks toward the camp site, her crimson scarf dangled with the breeze. Internally she was shivering, because of the the cool breeze, out of excitement or anxiety, she wasnt exactly sure.

Is this all of them, was the first thing on her mind upon seeing the other campers. The two of which, made themselves comfortable with each other while the other peculiar one, was busily doing paper cranes and hanging them on the tree. Cress leaned by the sign post, a couple of feet away from the rest, and watched them. She reached a pack of cancer sticks on her pocket and lit one with a match. She was rather entertained by the view of it, the origami filled tree, the whole time she just stared at it.

Location: Khloe's Apartment, headed to the camp

Interacting With: Victor

Khloe stood over the man, gripping the collar of his button down shirt tightly. She could see the sweat beads running down his face. His breath quickened and his lips were dry. She grinned, delighting in the fact that she could hear his heart beating wildly. "Please," he stammered. "I have kids. I..I...I'm sorry. I thought I would have more time. I..I didn't realize your powers were back. I...just....I...please." His beer belly hung over his now soiled khaki pants. Khloe pulled him up closer to her face. She could smell the alcohol on his breath. This was going to be too easy. She leaned slightly and grabbed the dagger from the nightstand next to her. She pushed the blade against his neck. She knew that only the smallest bit of added pressure would mean the end of this miserable scum's life. To do or not to do, that is the question. "Your highness, please." The man swallowed audibly. Begging didn't become him. Khloe had enough. She raised the blade in her hand, preparing to shove it in his rib cage, straight to his heart. Her breath increased in excitement and the blade lunged forward.

Suddenly, her eyes sprung open and she was staring at the ceiling of her bedroom. Her heart was pounding as she regained her bearings. Another dream, she thought. Or does it count as a nightmare? She wasn't sure really. In her home world, she never had dreams. Dreams were confusion for the mind and Khloe had never been confused until she became human. She took a deep breath in an attempt to calm her racing heart. She glanced over at the clock, it's neon numbers calling out to her in the darkness. Her alarm would go off any minute. She leaned over, shut it off, and rolled out of bed slowly. She walked down the hallway toward her kitchen. She made her way toward her coffee maker, noting how cold the tile flooring felt to her feet. She never felt cold as a demon goddess. Or if she had, she never noticed it. Being human was so fragile. It felt as if, at any moment, her mortality would be taken from her. Even something as simple as virus could bring her to her knees. It was a waste, really. Humans would have taken over the universe if they weren't so easy to kill off. She sighed, sipping her warm drink. It's all checks and balances in reality.

A pounding on her door startled Khloe out of her thoughts. She hated being startled. It put her on edge and that was never beneficial to anyone. Without bothering to check the peep hole, Khloe threw open the door. Victor stood there, appearing annoyed himself. "You're late. We should have left a half an hour ago." He stepped in her apartment and she shut the door behind him. She caught a whiff of his cologne as he passed her. It was a smooth watery scent with a hint of spice. She liked it.

"I've only been awake for a half hour," she said, heading back to her bedroom to get changed. "This time thing is so frustrating."

"I thought you had a better handle on it, Khloe." Victor put his hands on his hips and called to her while standing next to the couch in her living room. Khloe left her room, having thrown on a pair of dark designer jeans and a black lace top. Her Harley Davidson heels graced her feet and a pair of black hoop earrings completed her outfit.

"Whatever. They should be accustomed to working around my schedule anyway." She grabbed a soft leather jacket. Victor took it from her and held it out for her to slip her arms through. He turned her to face him and placed his hands on her shoulders.

"Humans don't work they way. Remember?" He stared into her soft chocolate brown eyes. She met his eyes back and sighed for the second time that morning.

"I'll try to remember. Let's go." She turned to the door as Victor opened it for her. He took a small glance around the apartment as he shut the door behind them, hoping the first day of camp would be easier than he was anticipating.

Tsela Yee Naaldlooshii
Location: Forested area near camp, camp
Interacting With: No one

Powerful muscles rolled under skin hidden by light tawny fur, as a predator drifted through the woods. The fur was then broken from sight by a modified bag, designed to fit and stay on the big cat's back, dark eyes pierced between trees, as the animal approached the apparent campgrounds.

The beast paused as the smell of cigarette smoke broke through the fresh air, and unbidden a snarl came from the animal's throat. 'disgusting...humans...threat?...no...camp...safe...for now....' broken thoughts drifted through the animal's mind, as it passed a woman smoking, leaning against the sign post. Strolling through camp, the big cat walked towards one of the cabins, nudging it open it disappeared within it's walls.

Looking around, the cat was satisfied by the emptiness, and with a quick push of it's powerful leg muscles it stood on hind legs. Focusing, and remembering his human shape, the cat began to shift.

The sounds of cracking, popping, and snapping from his bones changing shape and location, such horrendous pain. But the burn from his skin splitting nearly caused the beast turning man to yowl.

As the fur receded, and the muscles and bones finally settled, a bare young man was left behind.

Shaking the shift off, feeling calm in his human shape again, he picked up his bag which had fallen off while shifting, searching for some clothes he pulled out a pair of dark pants, and a vest of light tan material with some fringe and bead work. The slightest wiff of deer clung to the leather still.

Jerking his clothes on, the young man leamed against the wall for sometime, collecting his thoughts.

'Clizyati would have been driven to a temper around these...people already. What am I doing here?' running his hands through his hair, he pulled the tangled locks back and tied a low pony tail with a leather thong. 'It's only temporary, just until the men from my old village lose my trail. And maybe I'll meet a powerful ally...or a useful pawn. It'd be nice, but I doubt it.'

Shaking off those gloomy thoughts, the young man straightened and walked out of the cabin, eyes squinting to avoid the pain from differing lights. Breathing in a deep lungful of the air, he squared his broad shoulders and looked around, noticing a pair of campers, one of which was sitting on several trunks, and in a tree a girl was folding...paper maybe? And hanging it up.

Sighing, he walked towards the trees and sat on the ground, his eyes roving over.the people already here. And all he could think about, was the last time he saw Clizyati, and how she would react to people she would consider interlopers into nature. Chuckling quietly, he relaxed back into the tree, at least for now he could take a moment to breathe.

Anastasia

Location: Vigilante Village to Cabin
Interacting With: @rechonq

Ana Stared at the tree longer observing the bird that had flow to rest on a long branch. Beautiful creature she was. Though her pigmentation was off colored for her species. Or at least it was from the ones she had seen around her windows. Did her grandfather send it to watch her? she pondered happily but with a blank expression across her face. She watched a lady walk straight into the cabin. Were they allowed to claim them off the start? She would like to have one farthest from the lake. Even the thought of getting close to it sent a shiver down her spine. It was going to be a fun year. Maybe she could get used to living near a lake. Hopefully she wouldn't have to swim. She couldn't, never wanted to learn either. This was going to be a fun year though. She wanted to go explore the woods right that moment but she wanted to get settled in before becoming lost.

A voice peeked her interest. Talking to her it seemed.
"Hi, I'm Rak. I don't think I've ever met you before. Do you need help with anything?"

"Good Day, Rak. My Nam is Adonnenniel Dresden. Most call me Anastasia." She said Getting up from her trunk Bowing slightly With a smile plastered across her face. " I haven't been here before Rak that explains why you haven't met me. " She said taking in he probably knows whats supposed to happen here on the first day. Taking a chance that if he didn't he wouldn't judge her for it. " Uh what are we supposed to do after we arrive. Never been to a camp before. Do we just choose the cabin we like? Rules about who your sharing with? I wasn't given much information before coming."

She noticed a girl hanging paper cranes on a tree nearby. She hadn't noticed her arrive but she assumed she knew somewhat what she was supposed to do. Noticing though a cat of some sort walk into a cabin. A boy walking out. Shapeshifting. Something she learned about but never saw, something she wanted to learn more about in person.Other than her own form she had no clue. Or was the boy in the cabin when the cat went in. She would have to ask the boy when they properly met. Was I the only one not told what was supposed to happen. Dreadfully mother Inform me of these things. She wondered where she could be if she had taken up her brothers option. But no her grandfather said this would be good for her, kind of sarcastically but he still said it. She flittered her hat off her head catching it and readjusting it over the short dark locks that made her hair. Eyes gleaming with a sense of pride and curiosity. Her questions still fresh in her mind she picked up her adventurers trunk. Seemly unaffected by the weight.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Anastasia. This will actually be my fourth year, but it doesn't seem like any staff is around as usual, so don't feel bad about not knowing something. I was rather lost my first year too. I ended up sleeping in the lake my first night here." Rak looked around as he mentioned the staff. He noticed a girl in a tree making cranes and another a ways off by the sign taking a smoke. He was rather confused as it seemed he was the only to actually put his stuff in a cabin. "You can pick any cabin you want and there are no rules about who you share a cabin with... except guys. They don't allow co-ed here."

Rak looked around again noticing a large cat making it's way through camp. He turned the other way looking past the buildings for some semblance of staff. "Honestly other than choosing a cabin. I don't know what happens next. Normally eventually someone comes to re-emphasize the rules, and tell us a little about the camp, and what's going on next." Anastasia had picked up her trunk rather easily. Normally Rak would have been a little surprised, but he remembered here there was hardly anything that wouldn't normally be surprising. "Once you find a cabin just do what you want I guess." The camp always did different things every year so other than picking a cabin he really didn't know what to do.

As Ana walked away with her trunk, Rak noticed another guy was here too. Where did he come from. The man went and sat by a tree just relaxing. This camp was the perfect place for just that. Rak headed back to his cabin and leapt onto the mattress that he claimed on the second floor. He decided to rest for a bit as the others arrived. He would meet everyone soon enough, and if anyone came to his cabin he'd greet them as well.

Lyric Tidepool

Location: Origami-Filled Tree to Empty Cabin
Interacting With: @spacecakes - sort of.

As Lyric folded the small, intricate birds, she realized that the branches beside her were filling quickly. Should she have had something to hang them up with, she would have done more, but it was not to be. As she had made more, she saw, some had fallen to the ground. She decided to leave them as they lay. More and more people came in, with stranger abilities. It was odd, seeing the lot of them so like herself. Nothing too unsettling, just odd.

She listened in to the boy and girl's conversation. They appeared to be talking about cabins and what to do at arrival. The girl was clueless, but the boy knew what he was doing. She didn't catch their names, but managed to get the gist of what to do. Now informed and ready to go, she took her strips and pocketed them, along with the carving in the shape of a seed. She ran her fingers over the worked wood one last time before moving on.

Lyric suddenly noticed a girl nearby who was watching her fold earlier, seemingly fascinated by the cranes in the tree. She smiled slightly and gave the girl a tiny wave before clambering down from the tree. She'd come to think of it as her tree, considering the physical papery claim she'd made on it, and reminded herself to come back there later for relaxation. It had a nice view of both the lake and the center of camp. It was also pretty far from everything, making it ideal.

She walked across the camp, noting the man resting some ways away. Lyric felt a little out-of-place with no bags or suitcases, so she wasn't sure how she would claim a cabin, but chose one that looked comfortable anyhow. She made sure nobody else had claimed the cabin. Once satisfied, she gave it a good think and quickly whipped out a paper strip. Folding a single crane, she left it on a bedside table on the second floor. She hoped it would suffice for claim.

Afterwards, she decided to get acquainted with her housing and draw a while on her mattress. Small sketches of fictional people, places and things on whole sheets of paper as opposed to the strips from earlier. The drawings looked fine, though Lyric was dubious as to their quality and kept them each face-down in her paper stash she carried. I wonder what everyone else's abilities come to?

H A R L O C K R O S E

LOCATION: Morrigan's Estate > Vigilante Village
INTERACTION(S): Mentor (Morrigan) > No one.

"Kitten? Oh--KITTENNNNN.." A woman hollered throughout the shadows of the house, walking around a corner and up some grand staircases. She peeked around the corridor and raised an eyebrow of concern."Hmm.. I really hate doing this." she hummed to herself, walking into a room and opening the curtains abruptly. The window invited the rays of sunlight and soon a groan was heard form the bed as the woman watched with arms crossed."Aughhh..." the male faintly uttered, turning his back to face the torturing light and the woman which disturbed his sleep. "C'mon. It's time for the dead to wake up." Morrigan stated, walking over to the bed as she observed her student for a moment. The male buried himself deeper into the sheets and flicked one of his lion-like ears in response to the woman's demands."I'll be waiting in the car meat is on the table. Just eat it in the car, we're already late... Not that it matters anyways deary." Morrigan told him with a smile before walking away and shutting the door behind her gently.

Harlock slowly gestured himself up with his arms, stretching cattily over the bed, mainly his arms were stretched. He then crawled to the edge of his bed and sat there, rolling his neck around and cracked a few of his bones in silence before finally getting up and grabbing some clothes in his hands, shuffling into the bathroom. It only took Harlock 20 minutes of showering and getting ready and whatnot, and either way his mentor never rushed him. Once he completed his morning routine he walked down the steps, putting on a loose black tank top to go with his dark gray sweats and throwing on shoes. The tattooed male made his way into the kitchen to grab the plate full of meat as well as the fork, before getting out the house and going inside Morrigan’s car. β€œI swear, you are a lucky child… I brought in your bag already.” she stated as he sat in, and looked up and down at his choice of clothing. β€œWell, This is new.” Morrigan grinned, pointing out how he didn’t seem to be covering up his tattoos at all. Harlock normally wore layers of clothing in the summer, covering up his tattoos often but it seemed as though his presence would now be more known. He eyed his mentor seemingly with dismay and looked back down at his food proceeding to eat.

β€œBefore we get there Kitty..” The woman drove. β€œYou should make some friends. More friends that is. From now on as torturous as it sounds, we will be training in broad daylight with the other… children, rather than at night. I think it's about time you associate yourself with more people instead of wandering around the shadows of the day and being seen by few. Though, I’m sure you were popularly known as a lurker anyways. But, keep that in mind. I get you had friends at camp, but really open yourself up more. You do have the potential, I don’t see why you don’t use it.” Morrigan lectured.

β€œJesus, ok already. Shush for a bit, please.. I hate talking in the morning.” Harlock complained. The Lion-like creature was never a morning person generally speaking which was why he was silent most of the times and he stuffed his mouth with bacon. β€œYou’re cheap with the meat… 6 slices?” he glared at her, raising his clean plate up near her face before setting it down on the floor of the car. β€œBreakfast might be served at the camp, so until then. You can starve.” she giggled shrugging, hearing a frustrating sigh coming from Harlock.”Great.. Early.. Daylight… and… interacting with people.” he complained rolling his eyes. β€œOh--You’re just not a morning person, you! You did great being social last year--Now you need to do even more better!” she encouraged. β€œI’m turning into a Manticore to scare the others away.” he begrudgingly said. β€œOh--good kitty.” She reached over petting his head.

Eventually they arrived to the camp parking the vehicle before getting out. β€œMacabre, Put your stuff away in the cabin first. If i don’t see you out by then, you’ll be punished.” Morrigan waved her finger around before he got out and grabbed his backpack and duffel bags, walking off to the same cabin he usually had. However he was stopped by his mentor. β€œActually Kitten..” She paused, walking over to him and waving her fingers around to which his stuff began to float. β€œI’ll take these. They’ll probably pair you up with a cabin partner now.” She smiled. β€œYou are such a bitch this year..” He muttered. β€œOh, is that so?” She asked. β€œGlad to know i’m doing something right.” Morrigan responded, tousling his hair before walking off with his stuff floating behind her.

After that brief encounter with his mentor, Harlock turned to see the other members in silence. He kept his promise, and as she predicted he surely stood out of the crowd even more now. β€œThis is too troublesome..” He stated to himself as he pocketed his hands in his sweats. Did he look more approachable or more scarier? Why did such a thing even matter to him anyways he figured, opinions were nothing but words and there were plenty of other things to get his head wrapped around on.

Nessa ears twitched as she heard some commotion going off in the distance. She finished unpacking then heard the screech of feedback echo throughout the camp as it seemed like various mentors and camp counselors were arguing to see who was going to announce the welcoming. Suddenly a familiar voice spoke, it was her mentor, Mako. "Hello, everyone. Mako here. Just wanting all of the little campers to know that an orientation assembly will be held shortly so make your way to your cabins, unpack and see you all at Assembly Hall. Oh, that rhymed. Thanks." Nessa shook her head at the last thing Mako had said. He after all was her mentor. She had finished unpacking her last item then stood up to her feet.

She turned heel while walking out of the cabin, waving her hand and wiggling her fingers at almost anyone she passes by. She had made it to assembly hall and sat down on the bottom of the bleachers displayed there as her mentor sneaked up behind her. With wide eyes, she grabbed his hand and attempted to flip him over her shoulder but he did a flip and landed on his feet. "Oh, I am so sorry." She said while standing up now as her mentor, Mako, chuckled. "No need to apologize. Nice job, by the way." Mako said while making his way to the small stage up ahead and stood behind the podium, raising a hand to quiet down everyone.

Once everyone had quieted down, Mako had spoke the welcoming, basically welcoming everybody back to the village and even welcoming the new students. He talked about the campus of the village, the cabins and all of the uniqueness the atmosphere at the village was. It was a little weird to see her mentor do the welcoming as she just sunk it all in then looked as he did the closing and again, welcomed everyone to the village. She sighed then stood up, waving to her mentor, giving him a thumbs up.

"So, I am thinking about a party tonight? What do you guys think?" She spoke to the people near her then waited to hear their responses before walking away.

Rakala Faust

Location: Vigilante Village
Interacting With: @HushedWhispers

Rak listened carefully to the announcement. The equipment wasn't the best and it was very easy to mis-interepret it's messages. Fortunately he heard that the orientation would be starting soon at the assembly hall. His stuff was fine for now. He hopped out of his bed went back outside.

He started heading for the Assembly Hall and noticed another girl waving at everyone as she headed there. She was about a hundred feet in front on him and kept the same gait as he did. They shortly reached the assembly hall and another older man began to walk a short distance behind her now. She sat down on the bottom bleachers and as Rak reached the bleachers, he watched the girl flip the man over her shoulders. He stopped for a moment confused at what was going on. As the man landed on his feat and walked off. Rak continued down the bleachers and sat next to the girl. "Nice move there. So I'm guessing you two know each other?"

Rak quieted down for the orientation even though he had heard it a few times before. It was the basic hello here is the camp spiel, with a few twists based on who gave it. The speech was pretty short and quickly afterwards the girl wanted to have a party tonight. Rak couldn't turn down a party. "Yeah I like the sound of that. Did you have anything in particular in mind? Maybe something down by the lake?"

Lyric Tidepool

Location: Cabin to Orientation
Interacting With: Nobody

Lyric finished a sketch and placed it face-down with the others as she heard the announcement. A person named Mako was about to hold an orientation, it seemed. She didn't have anything to unpack, and she was already in her cabin, so she put all her sketches and paper back in the bookbag she carried her things in. She made sure to grab the wooden totem as well and slip it into her pocket before leaving the cabin.

Following the flow of camper traffic, she made her way to the gathering place mentioned by Mako. There was a girl there who was waving at people, whom she nodded at as in acknowledgement, and the boy from earlier, and many other people which had faces she could not see. Lyric listened closely from the start to the close of the assembly, making note of especially the range of odd people she would see. It was still the most fascinating thing, no doubt.

Once it was finished and they were dismissed, she heard the girl who'd been waving say something about a party. She didn't respond, instead just acting like she hadn't heard and starting to head back to her cabin to await further instruction. She wasn't opposed to parties, just didn't want to have to be near a large crowd for longer than nessecary. Plus, parties were sort of loud and talkative usually, two things Lyric was not the biggest fan of.
