Roughly looking for 2 other dudes who are up to get down with your digi self.

Go a plot idea? Throw it in if you're interested. Got any questions? Feel free to ask. A Human and a Digimon, partnered up with each other, you odd to know how Digimon works, you probably wouldn't be here if you didn't

@geminironin i typically use dude as a gender neutral term, but all the genders are welcome wherever i roam. If you have any ideas for plot, throw them out there, if you have any questions, throw them out too. In the mean time, any idea for what Digimon you'll be using? (and i guess your human too, since that's equally as important)

I've pretty much decided on Salamon as my partner, but I kind of want to see where the plot is headed before building a character.

I was also considering Salamon as well. It's alright though, I have other options.

I also have a backup or two, in case my first choice doesn't work out (or I just change my mind).

Soooo... ideas.

I don't really have any plot ideas beyond the cliches, but we could definitely work on setting.

I would rather have our characters be older teens or young adults in case romance happens, and I would be fine with them living pretty much anywhere.

I'm fine with Plotmon (Salamon) being used, but if you could do me a solid, don't evolve them to Tailmon (Gatomon), i feel like Tailmon is used way too often for it's own good. FYI, i'll probably call these Digimon by their Japanese name, since i'm fairly use to the Japanese version myself. Use whatever version you want, i can manage

Well, if we're having a hard time coming up with plot ideas, how about we start with the Basics for Digimon.
Human world, or Digital world, where do you guys wanna spend most of the time in?

Teens/Young Adults are my general age range anyway.

Well, if we're having a hard time coming up with plot ideas, how about we start with the Basics for Digimon.
Human world, or Digital world, where do you guys wanna spend most of the time in?


Can't we do a little of both? We switch back and forth between the two as the plot requires it. Of course we'd need a plot.

No worries, I was planning to use the Mikemon route for digivolution.

And I kind of prefer the protagonists spending most of their time in the human world to begin with, but getting drawn more and more into the Digital World as the plot progresses.

Well what i meant by not using Tailmon was more so Tailmon like digimon, but i guess Mikemon works. As long as you're not constantly in Champion form it's fine. BTW, we wont be using X-Antibody digimon, and here's a list if you need help deciding. wikimon.net/Category:Child_Level
Well, the dynamics are just as important as the Plot. As for plot, lets start with a generic ideas to get us started, and branch from there.

An evil force draws the three kids into the Digital world, they meet their partners for the first time, and must work together to fight against this new enemy.
Maybe after the first enemy is defeated, they are sent back to the Real world with their Digimon, but bad things start going on in the Real world too, and they must defeat a threat that entered the Real World with then. When chaos threatens both worlds, the kids must return to the Digital World once more to finish the job.

Wikimon has by far the best list of Digimon, as well as additional information. Lemmie supply you all with each list in case it's a little hard to find it yourself under the cut.


Plot related, if we're going with a simple premise like this, we should think up villains, one for each stage most likely. Champion is the first boss, Perfect is the second, Ultimate is the final and hardest.
