Death. Death was in the air on this morning. The stench of nearly a hundred bodies littered across a field swept across the land for miles. Betraying the fate of those who had bravely marched to battle on this warm, summer's day. The lone survivors of the doomed attack remained in the center of the chaos, one standing over the other. Were one close enough to the two facing each other, they would see a bond. Not one of respect, oh no, but rather one of pure hatred and fear. The fear being more one-sided than the other. The boy standing, and yes he did seem to be just that... a boy. Looked down upon the other, waiting a few long minutes before he began to speak. "Your kind fear me for the war that you claim I am bound to bring to the surface, yet your kind were the ones who decided to attack me. For what, human? What I am? That does not seem quite fair now is it. Well, Templar, I believe that you are privy to information that I desire." The boy said before stretching his hand out towards the Templar cowering in fear before him. Much like the waves of a Tsunami crashing onto the shore, the shadows stretched across the land and wrapped around this man's limbs. Yanking him into the air and holding him in front of Trevinter. Their faces roughly level with each other as the demon stepped back from the Templar. "I wouldn't want you to have too much fun being so close to me, now then would I?" The demon said with a small laugh. Then turned his back to the Templar, quickly as if he were a hunter stalking some prey. Then the demon lunged forward and yanked a man up from the ground. Glaring at the bloody figure, and the cross which he was gripping in his hands. The demon struck quickly, pulling a sword from a fallen Templar and slamming it through this man's chest. "Playing dead and trying to call for some... holy backup? Coward." The boy added before yanking the sword upwards and cutting this man clean in half from the chest up.

Then he turned to face his prisoner from earlier. The Templar recruit, who could be no older than seventeen shook in his restraints with wide eyes at the horror he had just seen before. Seeing this filthy, murderous being stalking towards him; the boy decided that he needed to be brave. For his Mother, Father, Sister, and his Country. So he locked eyes with the demon, staring at the one orange eye, and that odd clock-eye that the being had. "Do what you want, Demon! No amount of time will make me reveal the secrets I hold dear. You will get nothing from me, Filth!" The man yelled at his enemy. Trying to show defiance in the face of an inevitable defeat. Instead of being impressed by the willpower, or even fear (as this man expected) the demon simply laughed.

"Funny you mention time. Time, is something I certainly have all of, not to mention something that will betray your secrets to me. Consider yourself lucky human, not many get to see such a display of power as you are about to. Zafkiel, to me!" Trevinter said, yelling the final part as his left hand raised straight into the air and his right went to the side. In his hands, a musket and flintlock appeared seemingly out of nowhere. The air behind him shimmered as a massive Clock face faded into view. When the boy next spoke, his voice seemed to gain a more... ancient quality. It rang through the very fabric of reality as he spoke a word of ancient power. "Yud" at the same time, black energy flowed from the clock and into the flintlock, which was now moved to denote Ten O' Clock. The boy pointed this pistol at the man and pulled the trigger, stealing his memories of the past. Then he began to ready for another... Final attack.

As the stench of canned chicken soup, and sweat filled the air Glen squeezed in between two other servers to grab another pouring spoon since the one she had fell to the floor. It would be quite rude to pour from a spoon that was dirty, so was the reason she'd been trying to make it to the other side of the kitchen to grab that spoon. Before she was able to get a new spoon Glen had slipped on a wet towel that had been thrown on the floor, and reached to grab for the other person when they turned around to signal something. As the lady turned she had fallen forward since Glen was holding on to the back of her shirt while falling, and one after another the volunteers fell. After the domino affect was over the young red-headed female would look in shock at what had just happened, and then suddenly burst out into laughter. As she did the others would begin to do the same, and soon the whole floor would be bursting into laughter at what had just happened.

The rest of the day was spent either cleaning up, or attempting to reorganize all of the pots and pans that fell with them, and by the end of the day Glen was exhausted. Even if she was exhausted she was glad to have had quite an unusual day. I mean, it's not every day everyone falls from attempting to serve soup to the homeless. All in all, it was an a nice day to say the least what with fulfilling a few tasks here and there.

As Glen made it to her hotel she'd grab the small key from her pocket, "Oh, I didn't loose it," and would put it into the lock to unlock the door. After, she turned the knob, walked in, closed the door, locked it, and had finally made it to her bed where she'd plop straight on it. For some reason she wasn't able to sleep though. "I wonder..." she'd say as her face was right into a pillow. There were some muffled sounds from the other side of the wall, and from the sound of things it was a couple arguing though why there was so much commotion was beyond her.

"I'm divorcing you!" a female voice would suddenly sound outside as a few doors began slamming as well.

"Brenda, I'm sorry-"

"No, you're not! Go back to your little tramp for all I care." Glen rolled her eyes as she tried to sleep. "Just know that after this you'll have nothing!"

"Why don't you fuel Satan some more..." Glen would say as she'd pick her head back up again. "If only I had the energy to handle it..."

Earlier that day she had meet someone who was in desperate need to be saved otherwise he would have done something unforgivable. The man had potential to be given a second chance, so she gave him that chance without realizing that she had not slept in an attempt to defend herself against a stalking demon. Her power was at its all-time low, so she needed the most rest she could get.

Because she couldn't sleep from the commotion going on (at this point the cops got involved because someone threw a rock at the glass window of their room)Glen would sit up, and wonder if Satan's disciples have gotten word of her and her brother yet. "Nah, they couldn't have." After all, she'd gotten rid of any demon who was attempting to get information, and send it back to a high-ranking officer that would surely send more than just a few demons their way. She had no idea where her brother was, but knew he could handle himself more than she could since her stamina was still under construction. Whatever the case was no one from hell was to find out about what they were doing. All they needed to know was that there was someone killing their creatures off. Who, or what was killing them off would have to be kept a secret.

"I need to sleep." She yawned to her palm, and laid back down on the bed without covering herself with the covers. "Another glorious day coming right up."

Right before she had fallen into a deep sleep however Glen was startled by an uneasy sensation, so she sat up. Wiping the sweat off of her forehead, and trying to calm her breathing down she'd wonder what that sensation was all about. "What-" Again, the sensation would come back in a pulse that would make her get out of bed, and walk around in circles in her hotel room. "This doesn't feel right." She'd murmur to herself while looking through the blinds at the full moon outside.

The boy moved into the town, slowly at first to ensure he didn't come across any guards. Fortunately, this night seemed to have all the guards spending their shifts in taverns. The fools were failing at their jobs, but that worked well in Trevinter's favor. For he came her to ensure that a certain ritual could not be complete, one that would raise a demon powerful enough to combat Trevinter. The result if the demon won? Then Trevinter's father would soon come to the world in such a fury, he would no doubt be victorious in his campaign. So the boy wandered through the town, checking for the alley specified by the Templar's memories. Ah, here it was; the boy knew the scent of blood and incense quite well. It was a favorite of father's, and thus constantly drifting through the Palace. As the boy stepped into the ally, he let his eyes drift over those present. A man, dead and split open laying on the floor; no doubt seduced by one of the three beautiful woman surrounding him. Witches no doubt, looking to gain something from summoning this demon. The fools. "Hello, Ladies. I see a bit of murder going on here. Not bad, I dig. But, I am afraid I will have to ask you to stop and drop this ritual peacefully." He said with a false smile on his face. Almost immediately the youngest witch, no doubt about 17 by human standards came close to the boy and grabbed his hand. Pressing herself against the boy's arm in an attempt to seduce him, and whispering in his ear. "How about you let us finish our little ritual here, and we have have a little fun after? I'm afraid asking us to peacefully stop is no anyways, so why don't you save yourself for after; handsome?" The boy smirked slightly. "Figured you would say that." He responded.

The next moment was a blur as the very arm the witch was holding onto tore upwards, his shoulder slamming into her jaw hard enough to make a a thundering clap of breaking. The witch stumbled backwards and regained her balance quickly, only to see the boy's foot racing upwards into her neck. The witch slammed backwards into the brick wall, collapsing as her throat collapsed inwards on itself. Cutting off her ability to breath. The boy turned towards the other two, who were staring in horror at how quickly this boy had dispatched their fellow witch. "Now, who's next?" The boy spoke as one witch pulled her wand out only to have it blown to pieces seconds later. When her attention turned back to the boy, he was standing there with two guns in his hands. A clock behind him. Only then did she understand who she was up against. As the girls began to turn to run, the boy held his guns at the back of their heads and fired. Stealing away the time they had left in their lives. However, that still wasn't enough to replenish for what he had lost during the battle of the templars. He needed more time.

After spending an eternity trying to fall asleep Glen would wake up three hours later to an alarm sounding. At first she had let the alarm ring, but figured there would be a complaint from a customer in this Inn soon if she was to keep it on. After all, the hotel walls weren't as thick as one would think them to be.

Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.

The alarming sound continued, so after about the 5th beep she rolled over to turn the alarm off with her outstretched hand. What she forgot however was that she was already on the edge of the bed, so rolling over was a bad idea. A bad idea that she would not think of until she was already on the floor. Because her hand was supposed to turn off the alarm it instead slammed onto the digital clock which made the clock fall off of the counter, and right by her ear. Shockingly the clock continued to ring, so Glen sat up, grabbed the digital clock, and slammed it onto the ground hard enough for it to break. She didn't mean to break the clock, but waking up this early in the morning was not something she was used to. Whatever.

Because Glen would not be able to fall back asleep she decided to get ready for the day. Nothing was better than starting a day off with a nice ritual so before getting up to go to the restroom she'd get on her knees, rest her elbows on the side of the bed, and pray. Praying was a sort of meditation for her to be able to got through the rest of the day without a hitch. If she was to miss a day then she would have to answer to her father later.

After finishing the prayer Glen then stood, and walked to the restroom to get everything ready for the day. She would come back out dressed in something casual since she had planned to take the day off from the usual tasks. What she was to do exactly with the day was something she didn't know, but figured it was a good idea to take a stroll through town to see what was going on this early in the morning. Maybe she could also stop by a restaurant serving breakfast since breakfast was the most important meal of the day. At least, to humans it was.

It took some time to get to the bustling city since she had decided to walk there, which was a bad idea but she decided to take the chance. "Maybe I should stop by a-" As she was talking to herself Glen looked over to her left at random. There was nothing that had caught her attention before she had looked as she was keeping to herself, but right when she turned she could see that there was an alleyway across the street covered in "Do Not Cross" tape. There was some officers standing around outside the tape to guard against overly curious citizens, and what she assumed were investigators inside the off limits area possibly trying to figure out what had happened. At first, she had turned forward to continue walking towards the city, but the feeling she had the night before began to slowly come back. She tried to ignore the feeling, and continue walking but once again the feeling came back though this time stronger. "What in the heavens- "

A person, most likely a cop, lifted the tape up to let an ambulance stretcher under with the corpse of the victim. Curious as to who it was Glen glanced back to the scene while pulling out her phone from the satchel she had, and pretending to look at it while standing there awkwardly. Because the body was covered with a white blanket Glen wouldn't be able to see who it was, but the heavens blessed her with a miracle when the wind blew a part of the covers away. It wasn't enough for the other passerby's to see, but because she was focused specifically where the head was Glen saw that the person under the covers had a shocked expression upon their death. As if time had froze at the exact time they had made that expression, and right before the paramedic was the cover the whole body once again Glen caught a glimpse of a hood that would've covered the beings head.

Quickly, she'd turn away, and continue walking as if she had seen nothing of what she actually did see. As she made her way to a nearby restaurant her steps increased with each second as well as her heart rate, and she herself would be on guard in case something was to happen. "What kind of person has such a terrifying expression...?"

A heavenly influence? Interesting. Certainly something that would hunt him. The boy let these thoughts track through his mind as he ate at a small diner. For even the Son of Satan could be civilized if need be. The boy looked around carefully as he could sense the presence getting close... as if it happened to be outside the very diner he was inside. Well, he had finished his meal anyways. Time satisfy his own curiosity. The boy paid, leaving a generous tip for the waitress... see as her brother had died yesterday at the hands of Trevinter himself. So, the boy gave her something extra to help her cope. He knew the pain of losing a sibling all too well. With that being taken care of, the boy stepped out of the diner. Ensuring to keep his hair covering his eye, and looked around the street. Noticing a girl who seemed rather... stunning he smiled to himself
Heavenly influences never seemed capable of looking average just to fit in. He approached her with a casual swagger before 'accidentally' bumping into the girl. "My apologies, M'lady. I fear I was much too distracted by thine beauty." He said, adding in a charming smile to try to grab her attention.

Trevinter needed to play this woman, she likely had information on where Christ was. He needed to pay for the slaughter of Lilith. Killing him would likely lure Satan out to try to take over, giving Trevinter the chance to put the beast down. A double win situation. So he needed the information this woman had, and if she was less than Christ then he knew he could hide his aura from her. It was Game time.

Glen had turned around one last time to see if what she had seen was true, and in fact it was. There were a few civilians trying to get a glimpse of what had happened. But because everything was being covered up as well as sealed off there wasn't much for anyone to see. As the young lady turned back to make her way to a restaurant nearby someone had accidentally bumped into her. It wasn't a hard push, but it was enough to make her take a few steps back. Not only that, but because she was thinking about something else the detection field she had up to keep others from noticing her aura was disrupted causing some of her aura to flare out. To a normal human being it felt like a fresh breeze had suddenly swept the area as she had been caught off guard, but to a demon it was a sure sign that someone, an angel, was nearby. She cursed under her breathe at the fact that she was clumsy enough to let her guard down. It would take some time for those demons to notice that a possible enemy was around, and in minutes there would be demons flocking this city in search of her. In a way it was good to have the opportunity to cleanse the earth of those wretched beings, but it was also unacceptable to know that it was through her mistake if the demons were to come and wreck havoc among the citizens.

I will not let that happen, she thought as she slowly checked her clothes to make sure everything was okay. As she did that Glen would do what she could to be able to repair her guard. It didn't take much effort to repair, and in seconds she'd have her aura back to it's usual state. What unnerved her was that she was already beginning to sense something nearby. The demons were swift, but not swift enough to be in the city only seconds after she accidentally signaled them. Where this energy was coming from confused her as there was no clear source, so that meant that she'd have to choose her steps carefully. The boy in front of her began to speak to justify what he just did. Any other day she would given him a piece of her mind, but after what just happened she had just stared at him while her mind was on another matter; demons.

"Oh, no harm no foul, right?" she gave the male a forced smile as she began to walk around him to the restaurant. Looking as human as possible wouldn't rattle the demons who were coming enough to start attacking right off of the bat, and what was more human than going to a restaurant?

"Though," While walking past Glen would glance toward the male. "If you were so distracted by my beauty then how did you bump into me?" She chuckled, "Instead, you should've said Apologies, I was distracted by a car." And continued to make her way to the restaurant before looking back at him. "If you saw me you wouldn't have bumped into me Mr. playboy."

Trevinter looked at the girl as she walked around him, he wasn't about to let her slip away that easy. "Aye, M'lady. Well, to make up for my reckless action; allow me to pay for your meal." He said simply, catching up with the girl as he figured she was going into the diner to get something to eat. She did not seem to notice him for what he was, a blindness that would result in an early demise for the woman. However, Trevinter played the role he had chosen with a cocky smile on his lips as he walked alongside her. He was simply waiting for the right opportunity to let all hell loose. 'All hell loose, I am quite funny aren't I?' The boy mused to himself as he allowed a small chuckle to escape his lips. This was going to be a wonderful experience, for both of them really. It was just going to be what was likely her last experience in this world before she experienced true torment. That was not his problem though, so he wouldn't trouble himself with it.

Glenn let the person decide to treat her to lunch as she was kind enough to not pass up the offer. "Pay for it you will." she said back to him as she had walked up to the woman behind the desk to tell her there would be a table for two. Right after she did so the woman stood up, and with a smile led them to a window table that had two chairs. The woman had then given them a menu, and asked if they already knew what they wanted to drink. Before the woman was to say anymore Glenn smiled up at her, and told her if they could have a bit to decide that without consulting the male figure. Whether he wanted something or not did not matter to Glenn as her focus was on something else entirely. The woman nodded, and walked away to give them time to think.

Before picking up the menu to look over it Glenn looked to the male, and gave him a signature smile. "My name is Glenn, and it's a pleasure to meet you uhm..." Of course she had no idea what his name was, so she let him have the chance to talk. After all, he did bump into me on purpose, so letting him have the floor is best.

"The pleasure is all mine, thank you for letting me make up my transgression" The boy said, flashing a disarming smile at the girl. He would wait a few brief seconds as his mind thought of the next possible move. Maybe he could kidnap her now... no. No. It'd be supicious, better to let her eat first. Thankfully this angel did not seem to notice what he was, meaning she was just that... an angel. Nothing special about her judging by her appearance and lack of scent coming off of her.

"So, M'lady, what brings a girl like you to a dump like this?" He said with a small hint of a smile, hoping to disarm any suspicions she could possibly have. Otherwise, convincing her to go the back would a bit more.. difficult. If there was anything he could get out her, where he could find Christ and take revenge on the fucker for his sister.
