@Drifting Pollen: I wasn’t concerned about the hit chance as much as I was about what was considered reasonable aftermath. I knew from the get go she won’t come out unscratched if I had her continue with that hit so I tried to limit the damage best I could as a friend explained that even a few cm is a pretty nasty slice since 3 cm make up an in. (this why you practice your math kids…even when you get out of school)
My issue was the amount of damage and if the arm was able to still perform after being stabbed, granted at about less speed than before. Seeing as I’ve never gotten stabbed or been in a knife fight before, it’s rather hard to determine that even with research. In addition there’s the axillary artery in the arm, which I’m still researching since my logic in anatomy is more attuned to basics, not details, and pretty sure hitting an artery isn’t a good thing. Not sure exactly the bleed out time but I know she would be feeling weak at some point, dizzy, and even can cause her to black out within a set time. Some times depth of a wound, at least I would imagine, would influence this. If you want to correct, I would welcome from either of you as ShidenBlade didn’t have to explain how quickly Trixi charged and instead, merely took advantage of it which I appreciate.
*painfully aware her ignorance is showing rather badly*
Now for the changes:
Both attacks hit, which I assume I don’t need to mention it as ShidenBlade will cover Trixi's hit in his post.
Nicoli's jab would hit, naturally, as the drop to the knee (while slower) wouldn’t hit where Nicoli intended which was through the bicep. Not sure if that was higher or lower now that I think about it, because there’s a bone in there so hitting the center wouldn’t literally put it through the arm but it might hit the artery there. Unless he’s got much greater strength than I first assumed, bone isn’t easily to slice or break despite the movies.
Side effects of the jab are lot of bleeding, pain and difficulty in movement. The only question I have now is how to define a lot of bleeding because there's various definitions of a lots of bleeding (some people consider 2 pints a lot of blood for good reason) which means he could've hit an artery. That artery pretty much, from what I can tell from the images on google, starts at the arm pit and and goes down the inside which is exposed in this case with her strike to his leg. And mostly what I was trying to avoid was a direct hit after I read his post. This means it would've been slightly twisted when he struck with the highest end being nearest the elbow and lowest near the arm pit, her move down making him miss it if he was hitting from a slightly higher angle to the inside and going for that artery spot. A fact he would since she's lower than him at this point with her positioning. The missing of the artery (which I think it would) would still be a lot of blood, but she would be bleeding out slow rather than fast.
I hope this made sense and not just muddied up things more, which took me a few hours to phrase clearly. I'm not even sure I did that well. In TLDR Terms: I'm trying to define your term of a lot of blood without crippling myself due to misunderstanding and give Trixi the best possible and reasonable outcome. So when I edit, I don't have to do it more than once.
The pain part about disabling her is correct, since Trixi is a bit of a masochist so she can at least focus but her arm's mobility will still be affected. Part of the reason Salem (the incubus) was actually attracted, still is btw, to her and went farther with her than anyone else. So...yeah, it won’t likely put her in shock as much as excite her I would imagine. (in this situation, not in a sexual way, humorously)
I would be honored and I'm rather happy to hear that you're enjoying the read and the fight. I was starting to worry my inexperience was making it rather dull.
The fun part with Trixi, every single fight is cannon, win or lose, thanks to that dimension Rune in her history though it doesn't have any other effect. So she can take opponents all over the place, in any scene, and still create a nicely fleshed out story over all. Even take PCs on again that she's killed because her last fight erase her presence and cancels out the fight. However, it feels a bit like meta play so I might create a side effect that her presence left faint echos of their fight in the combant's memory that rise only after she's fought them already. This would allow both of us to be on even grounds. Sorry for the ramble, added effect of the excitement.

@Fallenreaper No rush. Take your time!
Also, if you ever want to throw down in a more relaxed setting outside the tourney let me know. I really dig your writing style and enjoy Trixie as a character.

Add on
It will likely happen after this tourney as I have a match with Skallagrim as well, so can set those two up at the same time.
