I hope my posts are long enough. I've always struggled with expanding what I'm trying to say and making it longer. ^^;

They're perfect length, don't worry! haha I also worry about babbling unnecessarily for the sake of trying to make posts a reasonable length so you're not the only one XD

I'd rather have a shorter 2-3 paragraph post that moves the story/plot along and is easy to respond to, than someone vomiting out 8-10+ paragraphs of absolute junk that I can't do anything with XD

Nah, it's fine. I actually wanted to ask. How do we want to divvy up secondary characters? I'm all for us having characters of the other races as major characters in the plot, Mel and Nathe being our mains, but wasn't sure how we wanted to divvy up our minor characters, like the patrols and stuff. We could either split it by race, you control the forest elves and I control the drow, or we could just take them as we need to. I don't mind either way. xD

I'm not too fussed either tbh haha XD Maybe we just shove them in as we go/as they're needed? That's how I usually do it :P

Works for me. I'll just assume any major players we introduce will be kept under our own control as secondary characters. xD

True, true. Alright. Then that'll be our plan for those. Where do you want the RP to go from here? With Nathe being imprisoned and all, figured it'd be up to you with the elves. xD

Hmm....well, Nathe's objective is to learn about the forest elves' culture right? So, what if somehow during the interrogation he tricks or convinces them into allowing him to wander around semi-freely? (perhaps something to do with the level of his injury, maybe he spends most of his time in an infirmary of sorts while they treat it to make sure he doesn't die or something?) While the forest elves at the same time attempt to extract 'secret' information about the Drow colonies in the caves to give them the advantage in the conflict somehow? (Since I don't imagine the forest elves would have gone awfully far into said caves, probably being afraid of ambush or some such other thing)

We could probably have them put him under guard if they do allow him semi-free range, perhaps Mel volunteers for it under the premise that he's "more likely to trust her and give her information freely since she already helped him"?

No, no, it makes sense. xD Okay, so that actually sounds good. He'll convince them to walk around and Mel will become his personal guard since she's the one who patched him up after "injuring" him. How did we want to approach the drow/elf conflict? Is it open combat or are they just very tense with each other? I was assuming the latter, but wanted your take on it.

I think I'd agree it'd probably be more the latter, with just a lot of tension due to differing opinion, which would maybe only occasionally escalate to the occasional border skirmish type of thing?

Right, that's kinda what I thought. The dark elves mainly stick to their cave and the forest elves typically stay in their forests, so it rarely escalates into real battle. We'll assume it's that way then with all of this. Also assumed neither has had much contact with other races.

Yeah, probably not, unless you wanted to have it differently and chuck other races in there as well. I'd be okay with that either way xP

I figured, eventually. I mean, the drow will have constant threat of dwarves around, living underground. Forest elves have their own worries with the humans constantly encroaching on their territory. Stuff along those lines. For now, I was just going to focus on the elf/drow conflict, though. xD

Okay, so this is a little unrelated to the RP, so if you'd like to talk about it through PM we can, but I was going to ask if you'd be interested in talking more on Skype? I personally like becoming friends with my RP partners rather than just limiting talking to the RP itself. So...I thought I'd offer. I fully understand if you don't want to, since a lot of people use Skype for personal stuff, having their real name and state/city listed, but thought I'd see if you were interested. ^^;

I'm not too active on it at the moment because my laptop doesn't run on Windows so I can't install Skype on it, but hopefully I should be able to get it to work on my phone soon XD
