@MacabreFox I'm thinking of having Utu on the walls too, this time around. His ambush trick won't work with this situation and when it did it only got one. He'll probably be using as much overdraw as he can to plant arrows into the enemy casters. They have the lightest armor. That arm length of his should come in handy sometimes.

Quick question on NPCs, do you mean ones that are GM created or are these player created? For instance, say you ask a city guard for help.

As the outcome of various maneuvers and attacks will be determined by the roll of the dice, does that mean our characters could potentially be killed off? I do hope not...

So... Are arrows dipped in oil, and then set ablaze, out of the question?

I'm also thinking about improvising a slingshot like devise, much like a balloon launcher, so bigger than a slingshot per se, but that shoots projectiles that can be set aflame, not sure what these projectiles would be.

I need to figure out what Specs is gonna do. He's not exactly built for fighting mountains, so I'unno.

Considering that he hasn't really had much practice at that particular activity, probably not amazingly, but since he can keep his balance pretty well overall I'd say faster than most people.

Now to decide how to go about doing this. Do'Karth isn't exactly made for this kind of fighting (whacky stick vs. impregnable armour, not good bed fellows), so I'm considering having him going around as something of a distraction/ time buyer to try and keep casualties from mounting and act as something of a roving reinforcement that moves in where he thinks he's needed, or delivering supplies to the frontline guys.

Either way, I'm all ears for some ideas or collaboration. This is gonna be a messy pile of shit before all is said and done. ;D
