Towns sprawled across the land ruled by hundreds of different medieval kingdoms. You came from one of these places, whether from the big city-castle capital cities or starting life as a lowly peasant in the poorest of towns you all had skills. And these skills were noticed by a magic user passing through. They took you as their apprentice, whether to pass on knowledge or to help them take over or destroy the world. You trained with them for a few years and now you have left them. Now its your chance to make a difference in the world...
Weapons: The flamethrower on his back (needs fuel). I guess he would have different gizmos, fuel, couple generators, a mechanical golem. A enchanted letter opener (the blade is skin-melting, when it hits an enemy).
Backstory: Miles spent most of his childhood in his dad's lab. He looked up to his dad, who was also a gear enchanter. Miles invented his first gizmo when he was 11 years old. He made a Yo-Yo which would spin itself up, when dropped from the wire. A year later, Miles was taken in on a engineer school, where he learned most of his now-used skills. He stayed there for 8 years, and went out to adventure. When he came back home after 3 years, he had a discovery to present. He learned that troll fat was a great fuel source for machines, but it was too expensive to get your hands on, so only Miles invented further than that. After that he created a small shop, where he would sell various inventions. It never got successful, as the machines cost too much. After 2 years of driving the unsuccessful business, he went back to his school, to become a teacher for the next 12 years. The school was then closed, due to little amount of funding. Miles went out to learn the secrets of magic, and met a mysterious man, who learned him enchanting. He then went back to his old shop, and stayed there until today. Though not incredibly money-making, it makes enough for him to live off of. Unless an accident were to happen
@Minimum Firstly, thanks for accepting me. I'm looking forward to this!---Secondly, I took the test (quite amusing, thank you!) and would like to know if you've decided which classes you'll disallow. Some are obvious, of course, and, I must admit, I have not read all 100 of them! Before I write my CS, I'd like to make sure it's okay. My result was The Silver Hand, if that helps
Name: Adelsean Banebourne Age: 37 Gender: Male Appearance: https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://static.diary.ru/userdir/3/8/7/5/387532/18406403.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.sourcehorsemen.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f%3D29%26t%3D912%26start%3D15&h=565&w=379&tbnid=OGx7YQwcCQBHEM:&docid=o5SP5PsU-LAu1M&ei=5U63VuXGDcGWmQGth5U4&tbm=isch&client=tablet-android-alco&ved=0ahUKEwilzeT86OXKAhVBSyYKHa1DBQcQMwgkKAMwAw Class: Dragon Master Weapons: His armor, magic and a large two-handed broadsword forged from a strange dark metal. The sword is named Laradrar which means Despoiler. Stats:18% Strength, 73% Bloodlust, 38% Intelligence, 20% Spirit, 8% Vitality and 22% Agility Back story: Adelsean was just a peasant for the longest time. However he was a peasant with ambition which left him resenting his serfhood with a fury that eventually became bloodlust. Just when it seemed he could not take anymore of being ordered about and treated like an animal by nobility, a mysterious hooded man appeared to him in the forest where he was hunted. The hooded man offered him power and vengeance. Not having any family to hold him back (parents died of plague, sister carried off by a lecherous noble who soon disposed of her and never married), he quickly accepted. The man whisked him off to a hidden citadel in the mountains where he learned many dark arts and ferocious killing techniques. During this time, Adelsean forged his own armor and weapon to suit him specifically. However, his mentor was off on business and was ambushed by a band of champions of light. Adelsean was left alone in the citadel with a library of knowledge and some supplies. Adelsean's first priority is to murder execute the noble who took his dear sister. Afterwards, he intends to lead a revolt with whoever will join his banner to conquer as much as possible. Even though he intends to do what Castro did and replace the old regime with a new one, he understands the plight of the commoners better than the nobility and hopes to make things better for them.
Class: Gear Enchanter (from quiz - I can redo if necessary!)
Weapons: Enchanted scythe (entirely metal and collapses into an easily carriable box the length of one's forearm and about a foot in width and depth). Cogs at the joint between the blade and the main shaft allow the scythe to retract easily and the pole itself collapses in half when required by the user (also allows it to be used with half the length/reach when collapsed). The blade is enchanted so that it cuts what the user wishes to cut - the blade is both dull and exception keen as required.
Backstory: Julius is/was an apprentice to an accomplished Gear Enchanter, he's still not really sure whether he's banished or whether he's been sent away to learn a really difficult lesson; he's always had issues understanding the machinations of his Master. Currently he is wandering across the world, perfecting his skills (also known as tinkering on his scythe) and trying to work out what his Master meant by "Get out of here and don't you dare come back without learning why we do what we do!"
For Julius there can not be a clear cut answer to that question. His family died before he could begin to remember them, shadows against a light background with no faces to recognised them by. The village threw him in with the other orphans of the numerous plagues that ravaged their community, large due to their understanding of medicine being rudimentary at best and downright unhelpful at worst. He grew up fighting for his own survival, the orphanage more of a gauntlet of violence and isolationism than a place of support and care.
As it turned out, he was a keen study and good with his hands and the blacksmith took him on as an apprentice. He was good with minute details and passable at the bigger scale things but rather than build up the muscle and stamina needed for the craft he found ways to make do or take the strain off of himself; the blacksmith dislike this and believed him to be dishonouring the craft. A traveller, come to the village for materials, took a different view and offered the young Julius (barely aged thirteen at the time) a position as his apprentice.
Eight years on, Julius is an accomplished fighter (although he dislikes bloodshed) and has begun to perfect his talent for detailed engineering and craftsmanship while advancing into the world of enchanting although he is still quite a novice here; most of his efforts have gone into tinkering with his beloved scythe. No one else could use it and it obeys his every whim through the enchants upon it but he has little to no other creations to his name besides a monocle that can focus on far away objects (hardly original).
@Shayd Thank you. :D Accepted! Classes like the creator and paragon are disallowed. If a class is questionable whether or not it should be allowed then i shall think about some weaknesses we could give it.
Name: Caratacus Age: ??? Gender: Male Class: Arch Druid Weapons: All of the forest basically. And can create a pocket forest out of a single leaf. Stats: 40% Strength, 15% Bloodlust, 10% Intelligence, 50% Spirit, 30% Vitality, 20% Agility Backstory:
If a certain amount of time passes it might be worth getting a post up that starts bringing characters together (or directing them) so anyone unsure of how to start has something to follow; I know it can be hard to come up with something with no pre-ordained direction at times!
