Work in progress until after dinner. :p

Username: Asura

Name: Mjoll

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Class: Scholar

Stats:
Level: 1
Weapon Lv: D
Skills: Darkfaire, Vantage, Wrath

Equipment: Elshade, Worm, Flux

Personality: Despite her title as a dark mage, Mjoll is quite a meek girl. Socially inept and rather shy in nature, she tends to stray away from other people out of nervousness. She instead finds comfort in books and tomes, as she never has to speak to any of those and therefor can never make a fool of herself. To the few people she can connect with she's a rather sweet and nurturing person. She does however, have a slight obsession with the dark arts and gaining knowledge of the more frowned upon rituals and magics. She has a minor crush on Janten.

History:

FE Games Played: FE4, FE6, FE7*, FE8*, FE13

Yeah I don't think those skills are legit for a mage. It's up to the big man in the end but stuff like Wrath and Vantage belong to the Myrmidon and Male barbarian lines respectively. I got vantage from being an actual myrmidon and a barbarian skill for being more or less raised with a group of rough housing mercenaries who were mostly barbarian and brigands.

@Asura: How far did you get in FE4? I'm still on Chapter 2. That's a painfully tedious game.

Then FE6 just sucks in my opinion. Or maybe I just got a poorly made translation patch.

@Vance: Personal skills are called just that because anyone, even a bishop, can learn any of them if they have a reason to.

Maybe passed Chapter 1? It is incredibly long and tedious and I think I played it untranslated.

I also agree. Roy is just... bland. Didn't really like the story.

I personally find Ephraim, and Hector to be the best lords in the series. I am also a big fan of Lyon.

My opinion on the top five best lords (in no particular order because that's too hard): Chrom, Ike, Ephraim, Sigurd, and Eliwood.

And I almost cried when

But only almost.

Name: Cecilia Belrose

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Appearance: Cecilia tends to hide herself behind her attire. She typically wears a black cloak with a purple trim alongside loose fitting clothes underneath. In battle she wears a white mask to hide her face; a standard among those in her order. Her mask in particular carries a runic sigil that runs through the left side of her mask. The area near the right eye socket is scarred by small cracks; a memento from a previous battle. Cecilia is 5'11'' tall, has dark blue eyes and shoulder length black hair.

Class: Scholar

Stats:
Level: 2
Weapon Lv: D
Skills: Nihil, Daunt, Lifetaker

Equipment: An Elshade and a Worm tome.

Personality: Ever since Cecilia was little, she had always been inquisitive and hungry to learn. She had a tendency to occupy her time with her own thoughts and thus could come off as aloof or uninterested to those who did not know her well. She is a remarkably patient individual and highly observant. While she normally avoids conversation for the most part, she can be well-spoken when she feels the need to be. Cecilia is very prideful and does not easily accept humiliation or failure.

History: Cecilia can trace her heritage back to Grado territory long since lost to the The Great Earthquake. Her mother and father found each other in one of the many refugee camps that sprang up in the aftermath of the even, and in the years that would pass eventually settle down in southern Renais to raise a family. At a young age, Cecilia was apprenticed to a scholar by the name of Valois, who was tasked with teaching her the humanities and with helping her hone a burgeoning magical talent. While her parents thought that their daughters apprenticeship was the stepping stone needed to guarantee her a comfortable life, her teacher had a different idea for her career path.

In the coming years, Cecilia would come to discover that her teacher Valois was a member of an order that called themselves The Vigil; a group of scholars and mages from all walks of life who gathered to discuss the affairs of Magvel. By pooling together their vast knowledge of history, they attempted to both observe the course of history and extrapolate future events in from prior precedent. If they thought the world was heading in the improper direction, they were not afraid to use their resources (and in some cases other less savory methods) to gently nudge the powers that be on the proper paths by exerting financial and diplomatic pressures.

However The Vigil is nothing but a decayed husk of it's former self. A significant portion of their members were lost in The Great Earthquake, and even among members of The Vigil itself, there is a pervasive feeling that the Virad made their order nothing more than an obsolete relic. Today there are less than 10 full fledged members remaining, alongside a coupling of apprentices. Valois came to resent the apathetic fatalism that had nested into the hearts of his comrades over the years, and resolved himself to do better. It took a year or so for him to persuade Cecilia to join The Vigil once she learned the truth at 14, but eventually she came to believe for herself that his fight was one worth dedicating herself to. By age 18 she was an official member of the Vigil, and shortly after left home to further hone her craft.

Now at the age of 20, Cecilia returned to Renais to join her master in observing the crowing of a new King of Renais. It promised to be a pivotal moment in history, and her master held strong to the notion that in such times members of The Vigil should always be close.

FE Games Played: I have played basically every handheld Fire Emblem that has been localized for the US. The GBA Fire Emblem, The Sacred Stones, Shadow Dragon, and Awakening.

Crap. Two Dark Mages. . . And not only do you and Asura both use Dark Magic . . . you're both Scholars . . . crap.

I don't know. I kind of want variety, but I don't want to be anal about it. Vance, what do you say?

Lucina is not one of my top picks personally. She's sweet and she means well and I like her but she's not a favorite of mine. I'll go with you on Ike but I'd dispute Chrom and Eliwood because both of them are a bit soft when it comes to hard choices. They wouldn't sacrifice the needs of the few for the many if it came down to it. But that's also disputable. I can't agree on Sigurd because just like say Alm I don't know much about him but I'll give props to Marth he was a genuine badass to do all he did just like most FE lords.

I'm going off of stats, though, for my choices. Marth doesn't even come close in that category.

And I need helps with our double-Scholar problem.

Asura got here first I'd give it to him and make the other change the class to a different one. On the other hand the other CS is complete so it'd be a quicker change for Asura.

In the end wouldn't it just matter where we end up? If one of us eventually promotes into an acolyte and the other a summoner then there is diversity.

But that would take a while so I can see how it's a problem initially.

Yeah, the problem is not having two characters of the same class in the same RP, but having two characters in the same class when we're just starting the RP. If one of you wants to hold onto your character and introduce her later, that'd be fine. (Usually the only class you double right off the bat is Cavalier.)

It's just so hard to give priority.
