A god's essence leaves a mark, or a trail, wherever they go. This trail, unless concealed, can be detected by other gods. Might can be used to strengthen a god's concealment, and detecting these trails requires the expenditure of Might by a god on their detection capabilities. Detection and concealment naturally rise by 1 per level.

Yup, that's all there is to it. Quite simple. Gods now have detection/concealment levels which naturally rise by 1 whenever they level up. A god can use Might to increase their concealment/detection level.
As all gods begin at level 1, both concealment and detection must necessarily begin at level 1 also.
I might want to also add that a god's domain and portfolio does increase or decrease inherent concealment/detection capabilities. A god of Light would be far worse at detection/concealment than a god of Trickery

I actually have no qualms about this character using souls in that way, having a quick glance over: Alsildir makes sure the souls leave when they're supposed to, but this character is fulfilling another part of that cycle: bringing souls back.

Asildir's main beef when souls are brought back is when it's necromancy or direct resurrection, this is reincarnation and doesn't appear to have a deliberate focus. Happens naturally, so to speak.

These two would probably be in regular contact to make sure that the cycle is working efficiently.

However, Detection would be higher because anything in the Light would be visible, and therefore more detectable (is that a word? I think so, since autocorrect doesn't do anything about it), at least more so than if one would be hiding in the shadows.

The one small excerpt you placed in the Levels hider wasn't very clear on exactly how Detection and Concealment worked, so perhaps I made it a bit too high. I can easily lower the level to, like, say, 2 or 3.

Any inherent Detection abilities she has due to her Domain (Portfolio) are accounted for in her inherent powers, just like a god of Earth's power over Earth is accounted for in the fact that they are an Earth god - if that makes sense.

Hmm, I thought the Concealment/Detection mechanism was rather simple and straightforward and didn't want to bore anyone reading the OP more than I already was. If everyone is having difficulty understanding how it works, I can go back and expand on it.
