Absolutely fine, JJ (I'll assume fateweaver is cool with it too). It's good to move things along.

@JulienJaden Sounds good, except Gawain has his hands bound and (I assume) he's weakened a bit by being captured for an x period of time. I don't imagine he can deal a great amount of damage.

@Errant Son Sorry, all I could understand was "the odds are slightly in Annara's favor but it would still be a completely fair fight". ^^

@JulienJaden fair enough. I'll wait for some post from someone else before I make my move then.

@ZB1996 I think it's a little late at that point for asking Annara to wait and let Juna go first, with Aust confirming that she enters (or is about to enter ahead of him, depending on whether @Life in Stasis wants to handle things or, if not, Errant Son would like to get a confrontation in).

Would it be fair to assume that 'rushing to catch up' would, in that context, mean that she is following them to the entrance and, rather than 'saying', speaking up and chiding her a little bit?

@JulienJaden I think that Stasis' plan was to let Lothren do his little spiel, too, so we're waiting for him regardless of whatever option you guys pick. That was my impression anyway

My plan was to actually bring the characters together. Lothren just gives the orders. Next post will be relatively short.

@Life in Stasis Meaning that if @Errant Son were to bump into Annara instead of Lothren on his way out, that would be fine with you?

I don't want to give away spoilers, but all Lothren is going to do is explain the situation, then head out to do something else important and leave them to it. What happens between the players after that is up to you guys.

Addendum:
I will be posting tomorrow morning. It won't be a difficult one but the second part of the Knights post needs more considering (and my time has run short).

I would say that that's fair.

@JulienJaden I shall leave the initiation of the whole thing to you, then.

I agree that it would be best for one at least one (but hopefully not all) of the mummers to post before Errant Son, as it would give him a bit more to do.

As clarification, despite what I said before, Lothren has not left the room yet to go do his important thing. It simply didn't happen that way when I wrote it out.

@Errant Son The thing is, I don't think it would quite fit for her to just go and punch him in the face. XD

Would he start a fight if she got close to him, on the stairs, with a gun pointed at his head?
As for a reason to get close in the first place... Is he the type who would have participated on raids on Eretol camps, i.e. would she be able to vaguely recognize him from somewhere?

There is no "would your character do this if I did this?" in roleplay! You just do, and then face the consequences.

No harm in establishing backstory though.

There isn't for details, but having a rough idea of what the other person has in mind when he says "I shall leave the initiation to you" is helpful for both. Neither the charakters nor the players are sitting in a vacuum.

I believe that the gun pointed directly at his head would, more or less, remove all possibility of him resisting too much.

As for your question regarding the Eretol, yes, he hates the Eretol slightly less than elves I suppose since they're humans, but, well, they're still pretty annoying to him.

So she could recognize him.

@Errant Son Alright, I think I've got an idea then. Might be until tomorrow evening or Monday morning (European Time) until I can sit down and write something. Replying to OOC on the phone is hard enough and I can't imagine the pain and frustration I'd submit myself to if I tried writing something proper.

@Errant Son@Life in Stasis I took full advantage of both the knight's defenselessness and the prospect of facing consequences.

I felt that it worked best if I put it up as an entire serious of actions over a very short span of time, but should somebody feel that I went too far (especially you, Errant, since your character is taking the beating here), then please let me know.

On the positive side of things, though, it gives the people present something to react to and refer back to later on. :P

Just to be clear, I'm leaving it to Juna or Aust to interact next (or Gawain to defend himself). This was sort of a push for the characters to move amongst each other instead of waiting for input from the GM.
