@Vec ...and.... why? I mean, Stronger Avatars, More might... all the stars in thenuniverse... not really seeing a downside here?

He is a star. He is not even 'alive' in the sense that your god Logos is. A stronger Avatar yes, but what is that against an actual god? All the stars in the universe yes, but he's basically a 'force' now, rather than a living thing. The only part of him that is at all conscious is his Avatar, and he can only ever have one of those at a time.

I think it is perfectly well-balanced.

He can die even if the other gods don't gang up on him.

@KhoI don't really understand the disadvantages. He'll be main sequence most of the time (200%), and red giant the rest of the time (150%) except for at the very start, or if we ever end up passing enough time for him to go supernova -- right? Or can he literally only interact with the world through his avatars?

Agreed. If we're supposed to introduce norml, mortal characters and play with them... or even shown a passing of time for plot that's not billions of years, how does that balance out? If my civilization is medieval, and you guys jump several billion years a turn, do I suddenly have flying cars and soy lent green?

@KhoThe avatar thing I think might balance it out a lot, but 200% MP seems excessive. I mean, he will spend most of his time with a boost. What exactly is the difference in power going to be between his avatar and any other full god?
@VecHe doesn't seem likely to, though. I wouldn't personally put that as a major drawback on par with "150-200% boost in MP generation".

I personally approved of it. I trust Vec, I think the very fact that his character won't be able to go around doing whatever it is the rest of our characters are doing is drawback enough. He has basically sacrificed the advantage of having the presence of a god for that of a mere Avatar - which is basically at demigod level, completely physical being, and capable of being destroyed by a god. Moreover, his Avatars get progressively more expensive, Might-wise, so destroy them enough time and he can't even interact with the world and other gods.

Yup, I have, which is why I'm officially withdrawing as a player. Vowzra will continue to exist, but he will be used entirely as a GMing tool.

@Fabulous Knight@Dawnscroll A normal god going full power on his Avatar can totally annihilate it. It's the Avatar's of the gods that will have a harder fight against his. Also, generally, living organisms will take a couple billion years to evolve and develop the ability to think for themselves to the point humans do. That is, if you guys don't just pop humans into existence. I don't really think that 200% is that excessive but if you really are against it, I can revise it or even just delete it and think of something else...

I wouldn't worry, things will cool down as the gods start to move around and do their things.

Really, I thought Kho would take a little more Time to see if things cooled down enough before making that decision.

@VecI thought Slough was going to pop life into existence around her, and then Vulamera was going to go ham on the sentience thing. I think the avatar thing might balance out the gain in might (I thought it was just a sidenote when I first read your CS). This is to an extent that I have no problem playing and seeing whether this is the case.

--Personally, I do wonder what would happen with mortals if we just went millions of years in the future, let alone billions. I mean, the whole of our recorded history is ten thousand years.

@KangutsoTwenty people is a lot.

I would love to see what happens. It would certainly be interesting to play out 'the loss of history', periods of regression and progression etc. The eventual passing of events into legend, and from historical personalities into gods, until the person is forgotten and only the legends remains. So exciting xDD

And yup, 20 people is crasy

Let's play a game: how many nigh apocyptic events can a species survive. We all pick one species and just wail on them and see what happens over billions of years.

I pick the chinchilla.
