Aresa noticed another Padawan eagerly running through the ship to examine the planet, though quickly followed her master down the ramp when she started exit the ship, she could instantly feel the hot and humid air as it hit her, “Wow, it sure is hot here.” She couldn't help but say, though she knew they were here for an important mission, stopping the Seps.

She 'glanced' over at the trooper that approached her master, listening to the conversation, she wanted to be useful, though she wasn't sure how her impending question would be received, she had to try nonetheless. “Master, if it's alright, may I scout ahead? I won't take any action if I see something and if it's alright with one of the other Masters, another Padawan could come with me along with two or three troopers.”

Amber couldn't help but smile a little at his eagerness, she wish she had been able to be like that when she was younger, she slowly followed him to the exiting ramp of the ship, feeling the Dark Side more strongly now, but she did her best to resist, like a caged beast inside her, begging for the thing that been taken away from it.

When she finally reached the ramp, watching troops and other Jedi Knights and Padawans line up to exit, Amber decided to speak to her student, “Listen, I know you're excited for this mission, but you must not go running off like that, especially on a planet like this that's strong with dark energy, alright?”

She felt that going for a calm approach that out right scolding him would deliever her message better, not to mention perhaps she had wanted him to like her, that being another reason why she couldn't be so firm with him as other Masters might have been to their students.

When they finally exited the ship, she too felt the humidity of the planet and agreed with Aresa when she over heard her, 'You can say that again kid.' She thought to herself as troopers began to set up defensive points and make shift bases.

The ship landed. Eric felt the heavy thud, then the command to exit the vessel. One padawan stormed off, then the others. Eric sat thee a moment longer, if only because he rather enjoyed the metal seat he was rested on. "Well, we best not leave the others waiting." Eric said as he stood and made his way out of the ship.

Felucia was a rather humid planet, hot too. A mixture that promised interesting and exotic lifeforms, which was already evident by the towering multicolored plants surrounding the landing zone. Calling over to where his apprentice should be assuming the padawan followed his master Eric said, "Hope you like it here, going to be home for a month at least, longer if this gets drawn out."

Eric would then make his way to where some clones were setting up defenses, ensuring that the earthen palisades were sturdy, that the gun emplacements were logically located. Of course, the clone engineers knew what they were doing though none of them said as such to their Jedi commander, was poor form to after all.

"I've been to worse places" Jaros said to Eric. "This place is only slightly less civilized than the slums of Alderaan." He laughed for a solid three minutes at his own joke. Felucia really wasn't as bad as the other Padawans at the temple had said. Sure, there were strange and scary plants and Arkays were formidable creatures, but he had a lightsaber. Speaking of lightsabers.

"Master, perhaps we should save this duel for a different day. If the Droids are as close as the Admiral said, it may be in our best interest to establish a perimeter." nHe flashed a cocky smile. "Besides, the Droids will be practice enough."

The air on Felucia was negligible compared to the Dark energy she could feel. Not only was the planet Dark, but the presence of Droids and Grevious served to amplify the effect. The other Acclemators had landed and thousands of Clones were scrambling to prepare for coming attacks. At-TEs dotted the perimeter in defense. Speeder squads were already heading out to scout and hunt droids. The Aresa spoke of going to scout ahead.

"I am sorry but I simply can not allow that. We are already assigned to hunt for enemy probes, I am sure we will get to see much of the surrounding area. But a plan is already set, another team is assigned to that role. We will fulfill our task until reassigned. Is that clear?" Niremon did not speak in a scolding manner, but more of a firm, control taking voice. Their ability to sense what others could not was part of the reason they were chosen to seek out the stealthier enemy Recon.

Three squads approached the group. The leader of the squad in blue spoke up, "We are squad eight, we will be walking for our search to be effective. We are at your service Commander Niremon." They would be hunting with them. The leaders in red and orange stepped up, the red one spoke, "We are squad Five and they are squad seven, we will be taking speeders as we gather intel. We are at your service commander Amber." It was time to move out for the leaving teams. "May the Force be with you." Nire said to the other Knights and their Padawans as she started off with the blue team.

Finn nodded as his master reprimanded him. "I'm sorry Master, it won't happen again," he said, his excitement still intact. He turned to face the squadrons of clones as they stepped up and introduced themselves. The one who pledged his squad's services to Amber mentioned something about speeders, which was enough to send his mind reeling. He took a moment to meditate however, connecting with the Force. He couldn't be unfocused for this mission, he knew that much. Once this began he'd have to be on top of his game, especially with General Grievous and his droids lurking about somewhere.

Aresa noticed the more firm tone her master gave her when her question was finally answered, catching her a bit off guard, but she knew that it wasn't to be scolding or out of malice, “Yes Master, I understand.” Aresa responded, just wanting to be helpful, but she figured she'd get to do so whenever they found the enemy probes she mentioned.

She soon started to follower her master with the group of soldiers, being a little impressed that, at least from what she heard, the Republic could produce so many troops, though the CIS were a lot faster with producing droids, the Republic kept up enough to where they weren't losing more soldiers than they were gaining, so that was impressive in it's own right.

Aresa listened to the sounds of the jungle, seeing through the force all the energies that were about the planet, it was rather peaceful in a way, she couldn't see how such a planet could have any kind of Dark Side energy on it. “Master, after we complete this assignment, assuming everything goes smoothly, will there be any other tasks for us or will we be returning to Coruscant?” She couldn't help but ask, finding that searching for probes didn't seem like it would be a long nor difficult task which made her wonder a little why they were here, aside from finding the Separatists.

Amber looked over the group of soldiers approaching them, well at least they wouldn't be doing this alone, not that she expected otherwise nor would it have bothered her, she just was glad to have some backup. “Right, thank you, I look forward to us working together, now let's move out.” She spoke to them and then began to move out on the speeders with them and her Padawan, “Make sure you stick close to me Finn, I know that you're excited for this mission and that's alright, but we need to stay focused and close together.” She couldn't help but add, she understood his excitement, but forgetting about the task at hand wouldn't be good.

Finn hopped on his speeder and nodded as Amber instructed him to stick close to her. As they zipped through Felucia, scouting out the area, Finn made sure never to stray too far from his master, although he did occasionally perform some speeder tricks, just to impress the clones. As they continued exploring the planet, Finn couldn't help but notice the energy that it gave off. The Dark Side's tendrils were poking at his brain, begging to be let in, although he refused to let them in. He knew that the Dark Side was tempting, but it was a fate worse than death to be that evil. He'd have to talk to Amber about how she fought back the corruption when they returned to base.

The search had so far yielded nothing, which was good of course. Using any of the darker abilities in her arsenal would come with some risk. Sure she could usually control it just fine, but this world could find it's way in through that channeling. The captain of the squad was on point, directing the group as they searched. Two Clones were covering the left flank, two on right, and one was watching the rear of the group.

“Master, after we complete this assignment, assuming everything goes smoothly, will there be any other tasks for us or will we be returning to Coruscant?” The constant questions would likely continue for a while before the new Jedi became acclimated to out duties. "I believe we will be on this planet until the campaign is over. But there is always the possibility that we will be called for a new mission at any point." This was the best she could give based on her experiences with the Order.

It would have been impossible to be spotted by any not searching using the Force, but she felt a spy Droid in a tree near by. The people who deployed them said nothing about keeping the Jedi presence there secret, but the knowledge of Jedi on the planet could be countered by some nefarious means. Nire pulled out her Saber and lit it. She then launched it at the Droid, stabbing straight into it's core and destroying it. Niremon pulled her Lightsaber back and chuckled at the Clones preparing for combat.

Aresa started to notice a little by her own account that she was being overly questioning and that she perhaps needed to tone it down a little, though he curiosity was always getting the better of her, she knew when to follower her teachers' orders and when to be a little more forward or zealous with anything she may want to say or ask.

“I apologize master, I don't mean to ask so many questions of you, I was just curious is all, it's...just difficult to blindly accept orders without knowing the full details is all.” She responded back to her master, unable to help herself.

Aresa focused on what her master was sensing, the faintness of a droid in the trees and then 'watched' as her master's blade went flying towards it, destroying it's core and disabling it, also taking note of how the clones stiffened up a bit and were scanning the area, well at least she knew they were ready, hopefully that's all this mission would be.

“Hopefully that droid wasn't a scout, if so then it will be noticed not reporting anything back to them.” Aresa commented, knowing that a destroyed scout droid could give away as much information as if it had spotted them and transmitted that back to whoever was controlling it.

As Amber, her Padawan and the clones went through the jungle on their speeders, she took notice quickly to Finn doing stunts to impress the soldiers, but this wasn't a game and they needed to be focused, she didn't want to have too, but she saw that she needed to be a little bit more stern, “Finn, no more of those stunts, we need to stay focused and trying to impress these troopers is not being focused, understood?” She didn't say it angrily, but it definitely was stern to get her message across.

She understood, he was excited and wanted to see some action, but from the small amount of time she had been with the Jedi, she knew that it wasn't always all fun and games, nor was it action packed, sometimes it was just plain dull, but there was nothing that could be done about it.

“Alright, we'll stop here momentarily and scout this cliff to see if there's anyone or anything around.” She spoke to the clones as well as her padawan, they were about half a kilometer out, thanks to the speeders allowing them to gain a quick amount of distance in a short time. Where they stopped was a cliff that overlooked the jungle, even if they didn't find anything, it'd still be good to check rather than running into any droids that could report their whereabouts.

“Yes sir, right away sir.” One of the clones responded as they stopped, some taking defensive positions around the group whilst two other clones scouted the trees, seeing if they could spot anything, though they hadn't yet, but she would make periodic checks every kilometer or so, perhaps that would be over doing it a tad, but she didn't want to be careless and get both the clones and her padawan attacked by an ambush that she was careless about because she didn't want to stop so often.

Finn stopped his stunts at his master's request, dropping his speed and following her for the rest of the trip. He was slightly disappointed about the lack of enemy contact on this trip. He'd expected to have taken out at least four droids by now, although Finn figured this was a good lesson to learn. While it may sometimes seem like the life of a Jedi was filled with epic battles, they had their fair share of basic things as well. Scouting for enemies and the like.

When they came to rest at the cliff, Finn went over to the edge, overlooking the jungle. He concentrated, focusing on the Force energy that was moving throughout the planet, trying to sense an enemy. He tried to feel the energy that filled droids, and he felt as if something was directing him in one way. Mentally looking down over the jungle, he could sense something, something dark. He wasn't sure if it was an animal of some sort, or maybe some droids, but he figured he should warn Amber. "Master, I think there's something down at the bottom of the cliff," he called out to his master, trying to sound calm.

"Better they know we are here then what we have." She shared as they continued on wards. The lack of combat was easing, the ability to focus on routing through the Darkness was certainly useful. It was probably about time to check up on the others to see how they were doing. Niremon took out her Holo communicator, "Hold up here, time to report in." the communicator attempted to contact the two other Knights. "This is Niremon Cal, I am calling to check in. What is your status? Over." The scouts may have found an army of a beast and the fort may have been attacked. The report on the droid she dispatched would come later.

Meanwhile...
Separatist Command ship in orbit above main CIS HQ on Felucia-
General Grevious clanks onto the Bridge of his Capital ship. "Give me a status report on the invasion." He ordered through his raspy voice. "The last hold outs of native opposition has been destroyed. But our fear has come true, one of our scouting droids went dark where we suspect the Republic has landed." A droid informed Grevious who now stood at his command point at the center of the room. A communication came in, a hooded figure stood in blue."Give me a status report on the plans General." The figure spoke to the kneeling General. "We have total dominance over the entire hemisphere...and the Republic is here, just as you said they would be." It reported as it rose to look at the hologram. "Good. Now initiate phase two of the plan. I will be there in one cycle." The hologram faded and Grevious commanded the attention of the room. "Release the Hyena bombers and send the army to CRUSH their pitiful Clone army!"

Alarms on the ship went off as the hangers launched 100 Hyena bombers. The closest attack group to the Clone base began to march. 2879 B1-Battle droids, 500 B2-Super Battle droids. 483 Droid Tanks were moving in columns for support.

Aresa merely nodded her head in agreement, she wouldn't question her master's judgement, after all, she was the student and Niremon was her master. She paused her stride and then put up a hand to the troops following to get them to stop as well.

She decided to take this momentary reprieve to feel the energy of the planet through the force, definitely feeling more Dark Side energy on it than before, she couldn't believe how strong it was, it didn't seem too far away from them, perhaps a couple of kilometers from where they were, maybe it was where the droids were, she had no idea, but she'd ask about it later, she felt that she had already troubled her master with enough questions and didn't need anymore.

Amber glanced over at Finn and then went over to the cliff side, trying to sense out what he was, she did feel something, though she couldn't determine what it was, plus she didn't want to go on any wild chases, regardless, it would probably be wise to at least check it out, they were already there and it's not like they were going anywhere too specific. “We'll check it out when-” She was interrupted when her holocommunicator went off.

Seeing Niremon appear, Amber responded, “This is Amber Skyvold, my padawan and I have detected something dark in a forest just below us, I'm going to have us check it out, it might be nothing, but it's still better safe than sorry, plus if we do find anything, we can update you on the status.”

Finn grinned at the chance to go out an possibly see some real action, though he quickly checked himself. He had to stay focused in case there was a true threat down there. "How should we proceed Master Skyvold?" the padawan asked, listening intently for her answer. He personally would have gone down there as stealthily as possible. As eager for battle as he was, he knew that storming into an unknown forest with a dark presence in it was a bad idea.

"Indeed." Eric said to his apprentice. "Hmm... could you go check on the barracks? Make sure it is... barracks like. Maybe mingle with the troops if you can." The Knight would then walk off to examine the base further. The base was located on a hill overlooking a lake. A wall of metal plates reinforced with dirt and stone gathered from nearby surrounded the base, the base for towers beginning to get set up. There was one entrance into the fort, a gap in the wall, on which three turrets were set up and ready to fire. Alongside the turrets were several metal barricades. Outside the fort clone engineers with the help of basic infantry were already digging a trench.

"Productive aren't they." Eric said to himself before a voice behind him spoke up, That they are sir. Behind Eric was a clone, yellow markings adorning his armor. ER-1201, clone commander in charge this division of the clone engineer corps." "Eric Betorn." The Jedi replied, holding his hand out to shake with the clone, who after a moment shook the Jedi's hand. "Everything well I take it?" Eric asked, "Yes sir. The men are looking forward to fighting the droids."

The Jedi excused himself form the clone commander. The barracks would be his destination, Eric needed to find out where he was to sleep, and if his padawan had found anything or one of interest yet.

It was good to see that Skyvold was handling the mission well. They had little to report other than the planet. "Good to see your mission is going well. We have encountered one scout that I dispatched. We have been doing fine other than that. I am going to report back to main base, I suggest you do the same. May the Force be with you." She closed the communicator and attempted to contact Betorn at base.

Nothing was happening around them, but the scout wouldn't go unnoticed. The strength of the Force in the area was pulling ever harder. Use of Darker abilities would be too dangerous to use.

Amber nodded and then signed off, she'd report back just as soon as they had finished scouting the area below that faint energy was being detected from. She put her holocommunicator away and then looked to her Padawan and the clones, “Alright, we'll stay together when we head down there, then once we arrive we'll spread out a little and Finn, you're staying with me.” It wasn't that she didn't trust him, just felt that his curiosity and excitement would get the better of him and he'd unintentionally go running off.

“Yes sir.” One of the clones spoke before looking to the others, “Alright, you heard the commander, let's pack up and get going.” He then added, the clones were quick to pack up the little items they had pulled out during the small reprieve they had, well they were very disciplined that was for sure. 'Those Kaminoans sure know how to make some clones.' She couldn't help but think to herself as they soon began to head down to the forest below.

As they were getting closer, she felt the Dark Side pulling at her once more, the temptation just at the edge of where she could feel it, the darkness that was still inside her hungrily trying to push towards the energy it felt and it reflected outward as she resisted, panting a little as she tried to ignore the darkness calling out to her. “No, you won't have me again.” She spoke quietly to herself as she focused ahead, though one of the clones easily took notice to this, “Sir are you alright, do you need a medic?” Amber glanced over at the clone, “No, No, I'm fine, just some...Jedi stuff affecting me.” She gently smiled to the clone before continuing onto their destination.

Jaros walked compliantly to the barracks, and apprehension began building in his chest. Not of what he would find in the barracks, he wasn't scared of clones, but of what he would find on the battlefield. He didn't want to become attached to any of these troopers, considering many of them would die. Yet, it seemed as though Jaros made friends wherever he went. He stepped into the barracks, a large, utilitarian building filled to bursting with bunks. The bunks, in turn, were filled with clones. As he stepped in, several clones near the door stood to attention. The others calmly nodded acknowledgement as they finished putting on their armour. One clone, who had just finished putting on his helmet approached. His armor was entirely standard issue, save for a red handprint on the "face" of the helmet.

"Sir, I'm R-328, the leader of squad R of the engineer corps!" He shifted uncomfortably. "My squad is supposed to be on guard with the Jedi, Sir. What are our orders!" Jaros gulped, he didn't know if he had command over the clones.

"I'm Jaros Belban, pleasure to meet you." Jaros smiled. "As for your orders, well I'll have to consult Master Betorn on that front. You and your men wait here for new orders." He started to walk away, then he paused. "Oh, and, make sure to kill some droids. Alright?" He smiled at the shout of approval from the clones. He then waited outside the barracks for the older Jedi.

Eric closed the distance to the barracks just as Jaros was stepping out. "Everything look good in there?" Eric asked as he stepped up to his apprentice. Rather than wait for an answer Eric started walking towards the only other structure that had been built thus far, the command post. It was a two story building, within was everything needed to command an army, communication systems were being set up by Clone Engineers, a storeroom/office for the clone in charge of issuing equipment. A small infirmary. Until the base could be expanded this structure was where anything at all happened.

Stepping into the map room, located on the second floor, Eric stepped over to the single window in the room, which was long and thin spanning the length of the wall. The other walls in the room were covered in machinery, mostly communication and scanning equipment while the center of the room held a holotable over which a projection of the planet glowed, adding a blue tint to the shadowy room. "Tell me, what do you think of our clone soldiers? Before anyone could say anything else however there was a sharp beeping sound coming from Eric's belt. "One moment, have to take that." Eric said as he stepped over to the holomap and pulled out the communicator. It was Niremon, one of the other knights, calling in to check on the status of the base. "Everything here is going on schedule. No sign of Confederacy forces yet. Any news?"

Niremon was scanning the area when Betorn came on and reported the situation at the Base. "Good to know. We have encountered one scout so far but it was destroyed quickly. Nothing else out here, we will report back in an hour. May the Force be with you." She closed the communicator and looked at the squad. "Be ready to move out in 1 minute." They had taken out some items, one of them was even eating. Niremon saw no reason to get moving the moment she was done and decided to be kinder then other Commanders would be, mostly because she knew they would likely die on this planet.

Nire 'looked' around, the plant life was strange and exotic. The Dark side was present, though it was not apparent why or for what purpose. Many of the plants didn't seem to be more than just large structures of neutral feeling. The plants were large enough to block CIS tanks, she noted before starting to move on wards. The team didn't have a set distance goal, but five kilometers out was the only range where spy drones would be of concern.

"Ready to move out commander." One of the Clones in fresh armor said as t=he got in formation. The ground was mostly just dirt, no leaves and few vines to make noise or obstruct passage. But the dirt did leave clear tracks, several large footprints from native animals trailed off in many directions. A quick 'glance' back revealed that they had left a clear path back to base. "Quickly, Aresa, we must cover our tracks." Nire firmly stated as she turned around to let out a wave, pushing loose ground to make the tracks less noticeable.
