Information:
+Anima are humans who possess animal like abilities, or (in extreme cases), the ability to transform into a full anthro-animal form. Each +Anima has a symbol or birthmark-like etching on their bodies, indicating and relating to what Anima-Spirit lives within them.
There is one recorded case of a person being born as +Anima, because the conditions for such an event are exceedingly rare. (as such only one of this type of anima will exist in the thread) An Anima is absorbed through the sheer will and need to survive. The two common conditions for absorption of an Anima are:
-The person is usually between the ages of about 10-18. (usually but not always)
-They are having a near-death experience
Some +Anima are genetically created, as an Anima can be obtained through implantation surgery, the process can be unstable. Vice versa, an Anima can be extracted through surgery, in which the marking is removed and the animal-spirit contained. At the age of maturity, or when they no longer need the Anima, +Anima tend to lose their Anima and become human again, though some adults retain it through puberty, or throughout their entire lives, depending on the circumstances.
+Anima are seen as less than humans and are kept and sold as slaves very commonly. However, there are some free +Anima in the world. These Anima normally keep their markings hidden because it is a sign of being an outcast. (and it may or may not get them killed/enslaved/etc)
Rules:
1. You may only chose ONE animal for your character to have.. and those animals may NOT include any mythological creatures (that includes dragons, unicorns, gryphons, etc)
2. This will be an active RP, so you may get left behind if you do not post once every day.
3. i will only be accepting one of each type of animal (i dont want six wolves and nothing else, be creative people)
4. Romance/Love interests allowed, but must feel natural. Also, nothing too intense... no sex scenes please.. just fade to black if you feel this is so necessary..
5. Characters will be accepted by me according to quality.
6. This Rp will have some mature and darker undertones, as a warning.
7. This Rp takes place in the past, around the time where cars were only owned by extremely rich people.
8. No god modding please. its a huge pet peeve of mine.
9. I am allowing one anima who has an extinct animal to join the Rp. (this means anything from the dinosaur family, and any animals who existed during the ice age.) However, they must provide a detailed explanation of how their character received their anima (it can't be just randomly received.) I will also highly regulate this character so they aren't overpowered compared to the others.
10. Please write at least one paragraph for your character's bio and try to make it diverse from the other characters.
