Cool. the NATO troops are still unfucking themsevles. Takes a bit to move all that and then some. A lot of folks think moving an army is like packing up the minivan and hitting the autobahn. No so, at all. Most likely, they are railheading their tracked vehicles to some disembarkation point near the border or inside Ukraine. That requires timing on the part of the civilian railroads between all the Nations or origination and Ukraine. Wheeled vehicles can hit the autobahns, but even they won't be able to clock the same speed a BMW can make.

We used to railhead our tracks to Grafenwohr and Hohenfels once a year. It took the wheels 8 hours on the Autobahn and tracks about twice that, but it was more economical due to the cost and volume of fuel consumed. Besides, there is no threat when the units are passing through Poland and Slovakia. The closer units should arrive sooner. Note, that moving one Brigade could take one day, but hte size of the force moving is much larger than one Brigade. I believe we had FR and UK moving about a Division. The US is moving the 1st Armor from Germany to Ukraine and then the light units could be coming in by Air. They also would need at least a day or more.

When I said 5-7 days that was more for France and UK. Poland and Romania would certainly be in country sooner.

Posted. I gave a situational update on where some of the NATO forces are, as far as getting into Ukraine.

Deadnaut and I have been chatting about hand to hand combat in PMs. I just found this video on Royal Marine H2H combat. It is pretty frickin funny. Especially when you consider this is a demonstration for civilians and these guys are literally beating the snot out of one another. LOL

I'll definitely have something up this week! Sorry I haven't posted yet, next week is spring break so all my classes are slamming into mid-term exam mode so I've barely had time to write a starter for the casual I'm in
