Do you know anything about New Europe College?

@Aisling Never heard of it... but I'm viewing its website at the moment. I've been to a special kind of business school (it was a mix between a business school and a grammar school; you could get your A-levels, and you had both classical subjects (e. g. biology, English, history) and economical subjects (e. g. economics, business management)), so I can judge it a bit, and their offers look good at first glance.

My aunt has got such an old-fashioned desk, with a thousand drawers and everything built in. Now, I actually wonder what that can do.

I love desks with hidey holes and have been fascinated by any kind of hidey holes whether it is a hidden room or drawers in a desk. I want to make a map with hidden rooms and secret places some day.

Where I live at, there is a castle that has got a secret passage underneath it. When you go to the basement, you can see a part of it through a glass window. Historians have tried to crawl it, but parts of it were either bricked or collapsed, so they couldn't reach the end. Nobody knows how long it is or where it ends, but there is a legend that says that it leads to another castle, about 30 kilometers away from 'ours'.

I've also heard that many castles have got something like that. During sieges, people used them to flee, and for food supply.

That is so neat! Is there a free map site that I could make a castle with such things as that tunnel?

@Aisling I don't know about that... but maybe a good graphics program can help you to draw a map as well.

We will be having the presidential elections this year. We have two candidates that have not been in politics before. Do you ever read about US politics?

@Aisling Yes... we hear pretty much about it here. With the primaries running... at the moment, it looks like it'll be Trump vs. Clinton, right?
Who's your favourite candidate? I like Bernie Sanders, from what I've heard about him... actually, I like all of them better than Trump.

I like Trump best. For one thing Trump is paying for his own expanses while others have backers like the Cook brothers give them the money.The Cook brothers like the big business while Trump is for the poor people. I feel that Trump will be the best for president.

@Aisling I don't like Trump because of what he said about Muslims and same-sex marriage. If he wants an entry ban for Muslims because they might be terrorists, he needs to get one for Buddhists as well. And for any other religious person. It's not just Islam that can cause terror. It's every kind of belief. Even atheists have done acts of terror. It just wasn't on popular media.

And he links vaccines to autism. The studies that originally suggested that link have admittedly been fake.

There are a lot of Muslims here in US that are terrorists and there are a lot of Mexicans who have accidents, no insurance, and won't pay their fines. We also have problems with Mexicans be murders and run around drunk then they carry guns which they shot anyone who just disagree with them. There might be other ethnic groups that cause trouble but those are the two who are causing problems in my area.

As far as same sex marriages, we don't have many until they have aides. Then they come to this area for medical care which they can't afford and that raises the cost of hospital care for the residents.

I am not personally against any particular ethnic group but these seem to be causing the area that I live in problems.

@Aisling If you can prove to me that the number of Mexicans and Muslims that cause problems in the US is significantly higher than those who just live their lives in peace AND if you can prove to me that the percentage of criminal Mexicans and Muslims is higher than the percentage of criminals with other ethnical backgrounds, I'll be convinced.

They'll have AIDS without the marriage as well. That they aren't allowed to marry doesn't mean that they won't be together. Taking away their rights to marry is taking away basic human rights from others for no reason.

Here in Germany, we've got parties with aims that are similar to Trump's aims. They're called right-wing parties. Most people here say, "If Trump becomes president, we'll have a new wave of refugees: People who come from the US."

And by the way... the 'I can't pay my medical bills' thing would be invalid if you had real health care over there.

That could very well be.

I shouldn't have said married aides victims because I honestly don't know that fact. All I know is that when I worked for a hospital that took in aides victims, I was in housekeeping and those in housekeeping aren't told if they are married or not.

I don't have any figures at the moment but I have tried to get help and can't. I had to wait for 4 weeks while Mexicans were apologized to for making them wait for 15 minutes. I read the sign and it said that they would receive help that day. Whites had to wait for 3 to 5 weeks. That is not fair to those like me. Our country is over burdened with those who are not paying taxes. Mexicans, Musleums and rich people are the ones who do not pay their taxes. Those who are like myself would be thrown in jail if we didn't pay our taxes for several years.

@Aisling That's unfair for sure, but it's not the Mexicans' fault... I doubt it was them who decided it to be like that.

Here in Gemany, some institutions have got special rules as well, like waterparks who've got times where only women can swim, in order to allow Muslim women to bathe without a burkini. That is stupid. Not because the intention behind it is bad (it isn't in most cases) but because the non-Muslims think the Muslims actually need this. I know many Muslims, and none of them has ever wanted to have something like that.
I guess it's the same with the Mexicans over there: Some non-Mexicans thought they'd need this, while the Mexicans themselves probably wouldn't really mind if those rules didn't exist.

I'd say that with the taxes, it's not the Muslims, the rich and the Mexicans who are the problems but the laws that allow them to live freely without paying taxes... if those laws were changed, the problems would be resolved.

Strangely, here in Germany, it is the other way around, more or less: If you are in church, you need to pay a special tax that those who aren't in church don't have to pay... but nobody really minds that tax here. Who doesn't want to pay for it leaves church, which works without any consequences here. You can still go to service and all without being in church.

No, actually it is one of the things that Mennonites promised the Mexicans and the Mennonites are the ones who run the agencies. The Mexicans do not have to go to these services because they make as much as I did. I am talking about the ones who I worked with.
