Fiona sauntered into the cafeteria like she owned the place, neverminding the guards who stood at either side of her, nor the closed shackles that kept her hands contained behind her back. Her ears swiveled back and forth, taking in the myriad of hushed voices that filled the room, her hazel eyes scanning back and forth ahead of her. She shifted back and forth on her hips until the guards stopped her progression, and she glanced back at them in subtle confusion. As they reached to remove her shackles, she easily unhinged her shoulders, shifting her arms over her head and around to her front, offering the her hands out to the guards proudly with a toothy grin. They did not seem amused and simply unlocked her shackles, turning her and shoving her out into the open. She stuck out her tongue to their turned backs.
Shifting her eyes back into the room ahead of her, she scanned the people who stood before her, and could tell from their smell that they, like her, we're definitely something else, something other than human. Unlike her, they looked human, but they smelled feral, wild, harsh. Her ears laid back against her hair, neatly pulled back in a wavy half ponytail, and she moved forward slowly, inquisitively. The food smelled delicious, but even her rumbling stomach couldn't shake the nerves. She had performed in front of hundreds before, why would a room with so few people in it worry her. Something about this room, this place, these people, didn't seem right. She took a deep breath and let a smile light up her face.
"Hello there!" she chirped cheerily.
